We found whales!
Knowing that it was very early in the whale migration season, we weren’t sure how many wheels we would see if any at all. But, our captain and crew were excellent, and we did manage to find two small pods of whales – about 6 to 7 total. The crew was knowledgeable, very friendly very open to questions. The company is a small, family-owned one, so the boat was smaller than whale watching boats we’ve been on before, and it made it a much nicer and more relaxed experience, with everyone able to a good spot to view the whales.

An extremely informative...
An extremely informative tour that provided us with the history of the Opera House as well as the mechanics of its operation on a daily basis. Made the structure so much more meaningful. We got to peek into the two concert halls where we learned that the engineering on the inside was just as impressive as the outside. Definitely recommended!

Just outside of Sydney harbor lies a migration path where humpback and southern right whales travel annually between Antarctica and the Great Barrier Reef. Most tourists who visit Sydney from May to November hop on a Sydney whale watching cruise. Many of them start in the harbor, and some include breakfast or lunch. But make sure to get your cameras ready for when your captain takes you to the migration path where the whales have been known to come up to say hello.
