We don't pick up from all hotels. We have specific pick up locations so we can depart the city on time and stay ahead of the large coaches. Pick up spots start from 6:30am at the Sheraton Grand Hotel with the final pick up location at the rear of the Four Seasons being 6:50am. You will receive a message from our team prior to your travel date confirming your exact pick up time and location. Pick up locations may change for various reasons due to road restrictions and changes. It's crucial you are at the designated pick up location 10 minutes before our scheduled arrival. Excellent way to see the best places in Sydney. Our tour guide Tom was fantastic !!! He really made our day fun and had so much information to share, we really learned a lot about Sydney. All the spots we went to were great and exciting. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Great tour, great guide, disappointed that we went to Sydney Zoo instead of Featherdale

Really good tour with Tom as our guide! Nice early start to beat the crowds. Stops and timing were good, with appropriate breaks along the way. Blue Mountains and Scenic World were both great! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is when we booked our tour a few months ago, Featherdale was the final stop, not Sydney Zoo. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to petting/feeding some kangaroos.

Thanks for your review and I’m glad you had a great day. When you booked our tour months ago it clearly said on our website that we visit both locations and we reserve the right to choose. This has now changed further and we only visit Featherdale if guests request this park and only on private tours. Sydney Zoo is modern, amenities are clean and presentable, the zoo is spacious and animals have more room to be free. Every day we visit Sydney Zoo our guests love their experience for all its professionalism. Besides a great range of Australian animals like kangaroos and Koalas there is a large amount of international animals in spacious enclosures such as lions, hyenas, elephants and giraffes. I am sure you still enjoyed the hundreds of animals at Sydney Zoo. Thanks again for your positive review and I wish you well on your journey back home. Chapo

Sean is simply the BEST! He knew the ins and outs of this tour. He’s very experienced and got us in and out of the spots before it got crowded. Hence experienced with the ins and outs. He’s very friendly and got to know my family a little, for the short time we were with him. He made us feel comfortable and safe. I can’t recommend him enough. You won’t regret it. If I get a chance to return and so this trip again, I am requesting for Sean, again.

Got to experience all 3 of the Blue Mountain rides, only got let down by the rainy weather which caused lots of fog, blocking the magnificent views of the mountains, though the fog did clear up towards midday. Got to go up close to the waterfalls and the lunch provided was great! Featherdale Wildlife Park was such a highlight, never saw so many Australian animals in one place before! Loved that the animals were all very active, unlike typical zoos where most animals just laze around and not move.

We had an excellent experience that far exceeded our expectations. Tom did a fine job of managing the trip and maximizing the use of our time. We enjoyed the Blue Mountain vista, the world’s steepest rail car ride, the gondola, and the wildlife stop. It was a very well planned event and such a nice break after 3 busy days in the city. Tom is very pleasant and enthusiastic, though his taste in music . . . :-). It was an unforgettable experience! Lunch location was okay, though the staff seemed to disappear after the initial serving. Perhaps understaffed? Have you considered a box lunch in a picnic area in the park? We’ve had that experience on other such tours with Viator.

Was a very long day but...

Was a very long day but well worth it. We got to blue mountain first in line so we had beat the Crowd. Was very lucky cause it started to get Very crowded after we had left. Emma our tour guide was really good and knowledgeable. All the spots that we had stopped over the sceneries were so beautiful. The wildlife park was fun. First time ever to see a Koala bear so cute. Even took a picture with it. Also got to feed the wallabies but recommend just buying one cup. They don’t seem to like the grass so much they were digging around for the pellets in the cup. Maybe cause they weren’t that hungry when we got there. Would recommend this tour plus it was a small group tour which we did a lot and everyone was on time.

The review system allows me to rate with a maximum of 5 stars. That makes this difficult because I want to give this tour 7 stars. Our Blue Mountains tour with Tom was beyond fantastic! The tour company communicated and set expectations really well. The whole tour went without a hitch (minus a bird pooping on me, but that's not the tour company's fault). If you enjoy Nature, history, and niche modes of transportation, this tour has it all in spades. We saw maybe 6 other tour groups from other companies while out on our tour and it was obvious none of them were having as good a time as our group had. If we were staying longer, I'd have zero hesitation booking another tour from Chapman.

Possible weather conditions

It can be very windy and cold at the top viewing area. Several of the group had to buy sweatshirts from the gift shop to be able to stay outside the bus. Notify guests in advance about the possible windy and chilly conditions.

Exceptional tour!

This was THE best excursion we did in Sydney! Our group of 10 loved it and were very pleased with it. Chapo communicated well with us from our initial contact with him. We got to meet him in person- what a lovely human! This trip was perfect for our group’s varied physical abilities, as we could walk as much or as little as we wanted. Tom was an excellent driver/guide- friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The Blue Mountains were breath-taking! The various means of traveling about Scenic World were a blast! We appreciated Tom taking us to Leura when the fog rolled in. Our lunch was scrumptious and we liked the varied choices we were given. The Featherdale Wildlife Park was a unique experience. There was a wide variety of animals that were native to Oceania; we got to see dingos, wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, and pademelons, and we even got our photo taken with a koala (additional cost)! The park and animals were well-kept. We would highly recommend this excursion to others! Ayyyyep!

Very very heavy rain. Only thing open at scenic world was a cable car but there was nothing to see because of the heavy rain. Boardwalk was closed. Railway was closed. Tour should have been cancelled!!

Janet there’s no need to be nasty. Following your messages yesterday I reported you to Viator due to the tone of your messages. You know full well that a storm rolled in over the mountain that day. We cannot be held responsible for that. In fact the official weather bureau announcement was that a storm has stalled over the Blue Mountains. You also know that scenic world made a decision to cancel 2 of the rides and the boardwalk for safety in which you were offered a refund and this was processed by Viator. They re opened later but we had to move on. Let those that are reading this also know that after you were refunded you then messaged me demanding an additional refund to quote, ‘thank you for the refund and now you should also give us a further refund ‘out of your pocket’. Just so you know, the refund you were given has come out of my pocket. You wanted the day for free it’s as simple as that. How dare you now sit back in the comfort of your home and keyboard and then decide to run my business down especially since you were refunded partially. The only reason you’ve written this 1 star review is because I refused to refund you further. It says a lot about you! It perplexes me how certain people can see rain and just accept it others want to blame local tour operators for it 🤷‍♂️. I hope every day in your future is filled with positive sunshine. You have my number if you wish to discuss my response I won’t be calling you however. Chapo
