What are people saying about Hobart

Bruny Island Experience not to be missed.
Enjoyable experience, this was my fifth trip with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys and all have been good experiences. Yesterday was cold and windy and didn't’ see as much wild life as previous trips but just the joy of being out in the wilderness is worth the trip. The trip was made special by both Liam and Ben. Enjoyed the commentary from Liam on the bus trip and from Ben and Liam on the boat. Can’t express enough that you need really warm clothes. Morning tea and lunch was most enjoyable. Would recommend this adventure to Bruny Island with these guys.

We booked this journey...
We booked this journey during winter. Our driver (Shaun) is a pretty friendly guy. Having a good safety concern about driving as well as helping everyone during the whole trip. Not only sharing us the historical background but also willing to answer our questions. Port Arthur is a beautiful historical attraction. Good spot for learning about history and walking around for relaxing.

Bruny Island day trip
We had a fantastic trip to Bruny Island with Mark as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The highlight for me was seeing how much my 7yo son enjoyed the tour, he happily followed Mark around, eager to explore and learn about everything along the way. It was wonderful to see him so engaged. Thank you Mark for making our Bruny Island trip such a memorable trip.

Outstanding Guide, Outstanding Tour
This was by far my favourite tour during my time in Hobart. The guide, Brett, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, but it never felt like he was simply reciting a rehearsed script. His passion for Tasmania and its history really came through, making the experience both engaging and enjoyable. I also appreciated how considerate he was of those in the group who found the walks a little more challenging, ensuring no one felt rushed or left behind. The itinerary was exactly as advertised, and every stop exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful Three Falls Circuit in Mount Field National Park to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, Richmond and the breathtaking views from kunanyi / Mount Wellington, it was an unforgettable day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hobart.
