Doris was wonder company in this well organised tours the food selection was excellent and the portions huge which left me full and satisfied. The many glasses of wine didn’t hurt either.

Interesting Tasty Food and pleasant company

Amy_A, Oct 2025
We really enjoyed our experience. Tried a lot of things we would not have normally picked off a menu and we enjoyed each and every one of them. The Guide was fantastic and was an easy relaxing way to enjoy something new.

Small group and excellent food

Kerry_L, Oct 2025
Ana our guide took us to 3 restaurants where we enjoyed 3 delicious meals. She shared a lot of information about the history of Split and the ways of making prosciutto and olive oil. Our tour group was small and quaint allowing for conversation with Ana and the group.

Girl Trip!

ywszeto, Oct 2025
Food was good for most part; wine was excellent but there wasn’t too much history told. Guide talked more about herself than history of the city. The octopus was not a hit with our group but all the other food was good.

Perfect way to start a trip

Brooke_B, Oct 2025
We booked this as a way to familiarize ourselves with Split and have interesting food on our first night in Split. It was a very good call because Doris was both a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and took us to multiple restaurants to try different Croatian cuisine and wine. There were six in the group and it was fun and easy to chat about the food and our individual travels. I would highly recommend this tour as a great introduction to Split.

Brilliant value for money

geoff_w, Sep 2025
Absolutely brilliant value for money. Not only great food but a fantastic guide who took us round the old town and gave a brilliant talk. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Highly recommend, great way to see the palace!

Split food tour

Corey_F, Sep 2025
It is a relaxed, upbeat tour. Anna gave us a little history as well. Be prepared for most food to be seafood. The food was ok....the wines were very good!

Don’t miss this!

Barbara_D, Sep 2025
This was one of our favorite tours! We were only in Split a short time so it was nice to combine sightseeing, a bit of a history lesson and good food all in one tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I LOVED this experience! We got to try lots of food/wine and explore old town! I’d recommend to anyone!

Christina is the best!

Scott_S, Sep 2025
This tour is a great way to explore the city, learn about its history, all while tasting great Croatian food. We were able to try some cheeses, and foods at the local market that the local restaurants don’t have available. However, our tour guide, Christina, was the best part. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, it felt like we were just having lunch with a friend.

Had a great tour with Ana today-she was a delight and shared great information about Croatia, the Palace and Croatian food. She was very accommodating aware of my food allergies.

marissaonsager, Aug 2025
We loved the small group (there were only 3 of us) and the variety of tops with history in between. We loved hearing about life in Split from a local. We stopped for prosciutto and cheese, seafood, pasta and risotto and then gelato.

Laszlo_G, Aug 2025
It is overall a great experience. I recommend it to anyone who would like to experience what local people eat in Split. The dishes all looked great and also tasted really good. I don't know what other guides are like but our guide Hani was great. She was really friendly, shared interesting facts and stories and was overall somebody pleasant to be around. In my opinion everyone should try it.

Hani was an amazing guide, combining history, cultural references with fun, personal anecdotes. It was a delicious introduction to Croatian specialties and local produce. Definitely a trip not to miss!

A great way to get the tastes of Split

Sanchia_A, Jul 2025
Dubrovnika met us on time and took four of us on a very interesting food walk of Split. Excellent overall food of all different kinds.

Interesting and great variety.

Lesley_A, Jul 2025
Great to try the local food and wines. Our guide was excellent and it was a fun group of 6. The pasta with mussels was my favourite!

Abbey_V, Jul 2025
Fantastic tour! Loved all the historical information and the food was delicious. The tour guide was very informative and made it very interesting

Best food tour in Split.

RichardH_M, Jun 2025
This was a great food tour. We had samplings of many restaurants and a great dessert. Our guide was very experienced and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of information about the local area historically and she also has a good sense of humor and we got a lot of information from her about things to do places to eat. Most of all it was great to meet her a local and be introduced to other fellow travelers who we enjoyed their company with great time. Great evening thank you

Great food tour experience, worth considering for cruise passengers

Geoff_H, Jun 2025
Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of the area. Meeting location was within walking distance of the cruise port and if you're a foodie, the experience was definitely worthwhile compared to other excursions offered by our cruise. The food stops were perfect at showcasing the local specialties and lunch at the restaurant was well organized and very tasty. It was one of the best food tours we've been on and we would highly recommend.

Good food, company and history!

Jill_S, Jun 2025
Lots of food, wine and some excellent history and sharing local customs-recommendations. Loved the conversation and knowledge shared as a groups but especially by our amazing tour guide—Ela!

Ten out of ten! Would recommend.

Tom_W, Jun 2025
Ela was extremely informative and gave us great tour and history of Split. She did a great job of keeping track of our group in a crowd and made sure we were all close when she started to tell us information. We started with tour of green market and taste of local food and ended with traditional meal with wine. Great way to learn about a place and understand local foods. Would highly recommend!

Experiencing history, cuisine and culture
