The speed boat added to the excitement of this island day tour. Our driver Dan was highly competent on the water! Although we packed a lot in the day, it wasn’t exhausting or overwhelming. Some key highlights include the Blue Cave, Komiza and Hvar. I highly recommend it!!

This is a must do activity. Blue cave was spectacular.
Best day out. Skipper and tour guide (Steve and Miro) were awesome!!
This is a must do trip while in croatia, you would be doing yourself an injustice by not going! I had so much fun.
An amazing day with my daughter. The sights were beautiful. It was fun to see so many different islands in one day. The speedboat ride was definitely crazy. Even though our driver did excellent and I always felt safe, I wouldn’t recommend it for small children or people with back issues.
What a wonderful way to spend the day seeing the islands, swimming holes and some very cool historical sites! They gave us plenty of leisure time and time to eat as well so we felt as if having a guided vacation day and not rushed from place to place. Thank you, team!
The trip was great once the destinations were reached. Our Blue Cave guide lacked personality but the cave was cool to see.
The speedboat driver was great but the wakes and waves had us bouncing all the way to our locations.
Mama Mia Island and Hvar were beautiful locations and worth the pain.
It was the highlight of our trip in Croatia. The trip was very well organised. Our flipper that day (forgot his name sorry) was really good and nice to us. The speed boat ride actually contribute alot with the fun and experience. It was definetely a SPEEDboat!! But it was SO FUN. Specially when our flipper showed his advance skills when he had a race agaisnt another speedboat, my teenage kids just cant stop talking about it. Blue cave was defenitely WORTH IT, it was amazing. The town of Komiza was beautiful, it was early when we got there so its not that busy, the water was so clear we had a chance to swim aswell, blue lagoon was pretty too but just too crowded, We had a lunch in Hvar, strall around to their beautiful town, each corner looks picture perfect,we alao had a chance to swim and the water was realy and clear and pretty. This tour I would say was really worth the price. Just be mindfull that the speedboat can be very fast, and the water can be VERY VERY rough on the way back so if you have smaller kids and elderly I would be very careful.
This was an awesome excursion - I would give 4.5/5 stars if I could. We had Duje and Bronco as our tour guide and driver and they were both great. This excursion is really cool to see a lot of different sites along the water and get a flavor of a few different towns in Split. It's worth being away from the city for the whole day. I enjoyed that the group was a smaller group of ~10-15 travelers, which we stayed in the whole day. It made it a smaller and more personal experience. The company has also created a relationship with a restaurant on Vis for lunch, which honestly made it easy to know where to go and enjoy good food with a slight discount.
My only reservations about this excursion is that it was a bit lite on the fun facts - we heard very high level information at each stop, and I would have loved any more details about the towns we visited. Similar to the aforementioned relationship with the restaurant on Vis, I would have loved if there was a relationship with one of the bars on the Blue Lagoon. We only had ~1 hour there, so it would've been nice to have an excuse to buy food or drinks at the bar and get a beach chair in the deal.
Great day trip. Bring plenty of water, towels, sunscreen, reef shoes are great, plenty of cash (a lot of the shops and restaurants we visited was cash only). if you have long hair bring hair ties and only wear hats that can be secured firm to your head.
I read a load of reviews who mention the saddle seats were uncomfortable, it was fine you just need to know how to sit on them. I partly stood and allowed my knees to gently act as shock absorption when bumpy and it was fine. I did that almost the entire time without fatigue and no issues
Expect to get wet especially on the return trip where afternoon winds kick in.
We weren’t able to do the blue caves as the tide was too high and it was closed due to it being dangerous but we just had longer at other islands it was fine. Captain Thomas was very skilled and tour guide Ivana? was terrific, both friendly and competent
only reason it was 4 and not 5 was that i would have appreciated the provision of water bottles for guests - i ended up getting a bad hydration headache because we didn’t bring enough water ourselves at the earlier stage of the trip. Also the boats seem to be the only ones without shade for guests
We were really disappointed with this Five Islands & Blue Cave speedboat tour from Split.
The staff was not particularly friendly, and much of the day felt less like a sightseeing tour and more like we were being taken to the tour company’s preferred restaurants on the islands. **Despite being advertised as a Five Islands tour, it simply wasn’t. We did not actually visit five islands.**
Of course, this is a speedboat tour, so no one is expecting a smooth, leisurely cruise. We fully expected speed, wind, and some bouncing. What we did **not** expect was just how rough and physically punishing the ride would be. The first leg is about **1.5–1.6 hours to the Blue Cave**, and our driver seemed to be going full throttle despite very rough water. The boat was hitting the waves so hard that the bouncing became violent. You sit straddling the seat, gripping the handles and essentially holding on for dear life, hoping your back or neck doesn’t get injured.
I really think the tour company should warn people about the possibility of this level of roughness before they book. There’s a big difference between expecting an exciting speedboat ride and spending well over an hour being repeatedly slammed against the waves.
The Blue Cave itself was cool to see, but for us it wasn’t worth the long, uncomfortable ride or giving up an entire day for the excursion.
If you’re staying in Split, I would recommend taking a fast ferry to Hvar instead. You’ll still get a beautiful day on the islands without putting your body through this kind of ride. For us, the Blue Cave simply wasn’t worth the discomfort, physical toll, and time involved.

Dear Galina,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience on our 5 Islands & Blue Cave tour fell far short of your expectations and caused you such physical discomfort.
Safety and guest satisfaction are our highest priorities, and we take your comments very seriously. While open-sea conditions can change quickly and speedboat rides are naturally adventurous, our skippers are expected to adapt their speed to prioritize safety and comfort. We sincerely apologize that the ride felt overly rough and punishing—we will be reviewing this journey with our crew to ensure better handling in turbulent waters. We aim to deliver the full 5-island itinerary whenever weather conditions permit. We regret if the routing or stops felt incomplete or overly focused on restaurant partner locations during your trip.
Just come back from an incredible 5 island tour! Everything was brilliantly organised and explained. The staff were amazingly helpful and really made the trip what it was. I'd recommend this trip to everyone. The best day of our trip to Croatia so far!
Check-in was chaotic as it wasn’t clear where the tour company was besides the shirts some workers were wearing. A big sign would have been helpful because there are so many other tour groups. There was only 1 girl checking over a 100 people in and there was no clear line so everyone was shoving each other and you had to be close to her to hear what name she was calling to get on the boat. Our boat’s motor stopped working and we were stuck for about 1 1/2 hours just in the middle of the ocean and some people started puking. I know this isn’t the company’s fault but I wish they called another boat sooner than waiting so long. Because the boat broke down, our main tour guide had to leave to take it to a mechanic, so the driver/skipper was doing everything. The driver/skipper was nice but didn’t play any music or really talk to us besides telling us what island we were at, it just didn’t feel personal at all. The blue caves are beautiful and the swimming areas are nice, unfortunately there is no fish and they didn’t give us any snorkel gear. The ride is bumpy so that’s something to consider. The tour operator wanted to cut our time in Hvar short because we were running 2 hours behind but I appreciated our driver gave us the full amount of time we paid for in Hvar.

We are sorry to hear that you had this experience. Our meeting point is on the same pier used by several tour companies, and we always do our best to make the check-in process as smooth and organized as possible.
Unfortunately, on the day of your tour, the boat experienced an unexpected technical issue. We immediately arranged for another boat to pick up our guests so you would not have to remain on the disabled boat any longer than necessary.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We are glad you were still able to enjoy the islands and receive the full time in Hvar despite the unexpected delay.
It is an adventure of a lifetime speeding across the Adriatic in the zodiac boat. You get to really see and experience the sites. Our guides Dino and Miro were superb.
If you have neck or back problems or are pregnant this is not for you. The pounding of the boat on the waves will be too much.
Lorenzo and Mario were awesome. They kept us well informed on all the stops, provided facts and history about each stop, entertained us with great music on the ride between stops. It was a highlight of my trip to Croatia!
It is a whirlwind adventure but saw some beautiful places. Our hosts Franjo and Pia were amazing. Shared interesting information and made the trip a lot of fun.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day speed boating around the islands. Lea & Matea ran a tight ship. I appreciated having 2 strong women at the helm. Make sure to bring lots of sun protection as the boat has no cover, and you’re riding for quite a while. Otherwise, it was an exhilarating ride at times which I appreciated. Be warned if you’re prone to motion sickness or eat poorly beforehand. It’s definitely a full day on the move, but my whole family agreed this was a great use of a day. Also, note that this tour does not include the Blue Lagoon admission which I overlooked when selecting a tour. Take that into account for your budget.
It was great, and felt very safe! Steve and his coworker were amazing with the other guest and I. Offered us a ton of recommendations and laughs
Island hopping was fun! Ela rides the boat like a pro! Thoroughly a new experience!
They had all inputs about geography!
Great tour to several different islands. You get to experience and see alot in a day. Even though the weather wasnt great, Pia and Antonio both made it a great experience. Just be ready for a bumpy ride on the rescue boat
This trips was excellent. We had a wonderful time!! The guide and skipper was super friendly and good.
We had the absolute best time on this tour! The Blue Cave and Hvar were both beautiful, but what really made the experience was our guides, Mia and Dino. They were so kind, funny, and welcoming from start to finish. They made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy up all day, and shared so much interesting information along the way. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. Thank you both for making this one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
TLDR: Great, 1000% recommend, meet friends and awesome guides, best beaches I've ever seen, good food, outdoorsy, long but totally worth it. This boat tour was absolutely amazing. I've been in Europe solo for 5 weeks by now, about 2 weeks of travel. This was hands down the highlight of my trip. It's been tiring and a bit lonely solo traveling, but there is a sense of community within even just the boat with the fellow tourists and guides. It honestly really turned my mood around (tired and unimpressed by split) and I can't express how fun it was even as a young adult. I will say, it is definitely an outdoorsier/active excursion; if you just want to party then it may be a bit tiring, although still very worth it in my opinion.
My skipper, Frank, and guide, Ivan, were both incredibly charismatic and full of character, and helpful around the local areas. They gave us great food & attraction recommendations with a discount at one restaurant, and great information about the locations we were visiting. They even created a shared Google Drive for recommendations and photos they took of us.
For the trip itself, we visited a few local islands with at least an hour at each. 6 am wake up was pretty brutal (as a night owl), but you're never really bored on the trip and you can kind of rest during the boat rides. The blue cave was closed on our day, but that can't really be faulted against them as it's outside their jurisdiction. Also, it is still 100% worth the tour even without the blue cave. The water and beaches were breathtaking; I saw deep, clear ocean blue for the first time ever, as well as a beautiful turquoise beach. It really looks just like the photos and there's plenty of instagram and just landscape photo opportunities. The tour was about 11 hours without the blue cave tour, so I'm assuming we added on some extra time elsewhere that is typically used for the blue cave.
Sorry for the incredibly long review, but I loved this tour and cannot recommend it enough.
The day overall was enjoyable, and as we were leaving Hvar, we were asked to leave a review. At that point, I gave the experience five stars because I had enjoyed the day overall, although there were a few things I felt could have been improved.
For example, I think the itinerary could have been arranged better. Hvar was the longest stop, yet it was our final destination. By that point, everyone was tired from spending the day in the sun, and we had very little energy left to properly explore the town. One of the earlier swimming stops would have made much more sense as the final stop instead.
Another disappointment was the snorkeling. The excursion advertised snorkeling, which was one of the main reasons I booked this tour. However, it wasn’t really a guided snorkeling experience. We were simply handed goggles at one of the island stops and told to take them to the beach ourselves, with no guidance or designated snorkeling area. There were very few fish or marine life to see, so it didn’t live up to what was advertised.
When we were asked to leave our review while departing Hvar, those were my only concerns, and despite them, I still chose to leave a positive five-star review because I felt I might have been focusing too much on minor criticisms.
Unfortunately, if I had been asked to write my review after arriving back in Split, it would have been very different.
The return boat ride was genuinely frightening. The trip from Hvar to Split took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, and for most of that journey, many passengers, including myself, were scared and uncomfortable.
At one point, the skipper handed control of the boat over to the guide. This had not happened at any other point during the excursion, and the switch only occurred once we were well out at sea, where it was less visible. That alone raised concerns, as it gave the impression that the guide may not have been authorized to operate the boat.
The sea was rough due to the afternoon wind and waves, which we completely understand. However, the speed and manner in which the boat was being driven made the conditions feel far more dangerous than necessary. One passenger (an adult) became so frightened that she began crying and screaming. Throughout the ride, my partner and I were genuinely worried that the boat might capsize.
When my partner and I, along with other passengers, expressed that we were frightened and asked the crew to slow down, our concerns were dismissed with laughter and the response that this was “normal”. While we appreciate that rough seas are sometimes unavoidable, the crew’s handling of the situation and their lack of empathy were extremely disappointing. Regardless of whether they considered the conditions normal, the fact that multiple passengers felt unsafe should have been taken seriously.
It’s unfortunate because the day itself had many positives, but the return journey overshadowed the entire experience. More concerning than the rough ride itself was how the crew responded when passengers expressed genuine fear. That left us with a lasting negative impression of what had otherwise been an enjoyable excursion.

We are sorry to hear that the return journey left you feeling uncomfortable and affected your overall experience.
Regarding snorkeling, our tour description clearly states that we provide masks and snorkels for guests to use, but it does not include a guided snorkeling experience.
The safety and comfort of our guests are extremely important to us, and we are sorry if you did not feel the care and attention of our crew that day. Our crew is highly experienced, and both crew members are trained to operate the boat, ensuring it is always in safe hands.
We understand that rough sea conditions can be uncomfortable, and we regret that this affected your impression of an otherwise enjoyable day. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Viator was pretty easy to schedule- and book a new date in my case! Skipper Tim was great! All the boats are excellent and the crew was very pragmatic
This was a really fun experience but not like how it was advertised. This was not a Mama Mia experience, more just the tour guides talking about spots that certain scenes from the movie were filmed. From previous reviews all of what was said about the boat was true, uncomfortable seats, long stretches of time sitting, choppy water, no shade on the boat. The blue caves were extremely underwhelming, and I would have liked to go to more caves that other boats were advertising. I did not get see sick as I am prone to, so that is a plus. I think my friend and I were expecting more from this trip than what it was. We stopped at this stop and got a flyer for an overpriced restaurant for a “free gift”, that was just a small paper postcard of a farm animal. I was expecting to get a free coffee or some sort of percentage taken off of the bill. When we stopped in Havar there is a restaurant that the guides take you, and you do get 10% off if you decide to eat there. Still an overpriced place though.
What was fun about this trip was all of the swimming spots that you stop at and swim, but that is pretty much what this excursion is. A skipper taking you to swim throughout Croatia. My friend and I especially liked Havar.
What really made the trip though was the people on the boat, our guide Lore and skipper Tuqo. They were gentlemen, made sure that we were always happy and taken care of. Tuqo our skipper was extremely handsome, a skilled driver, and played great music. We went on a Friday and it felt like weekend vibes on that boat!
Ivan the tour guide and Boat captain were really good, very knowledgeable and kind. We had a best experience. Our kids were really enthusiastic and engaged.
Thank you!
An absolute highlight of our Croatia trip! The speedboat ride alone was worth it. Fast, exhilarating and an incredible amount of fun. Our skipper, Jacob, was outstanding. Professional, funny, had the best playlist/music and by far the best driver on the water. You could genuinely tell the difference compared to many of the other boats we saw throughout the day.
The Blue Cave and the Five Islands were all beautiful, and Jacob took the time to explain the history, local stories and what made each stop unique. Nothing felt rushed, and he made sure everyone had a great experience.
Our group was a fantastic mix of Americans, Germans and other nationalities, which made the whole day even more enjoyable. Great atmosphere from start to finish.
If you're visiting Croatia, don't think twice. Book this tour. It's the perfect combination of stunning scenery, crystal-clear water, exciting speedboat rides and an exceptional skipper who clearly loves what he does.
Highly recommended. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
Nice tour but lacked a bit. We did have fun, but it was basically just driving from island to island and everything else cost extra (which I knew) but I think some of the things could have been included in this price.
NOTE: it is a SPEEDBOAT tour, so there is a high chance you will get absolutely soaked, especially if u sit on the LEFT SIDE of the boat! Wear things you don’t mind getting wet and sunglasses to protect your eyes!
Also be aware it can be BUMBY and you need to hold on the whole way (1,5h first thing in the morning) so definitely not a tour for elderly or small children. It was fun ride except when the water splashed on your face half of the duration. Also our bums were soooo sore after the trip from sitting on the boat STRADDLE style most of the day.
Note that there wasn’t really a snorkeling place, it was more of a here is a beach, you can snorkel there if you want, but there was nothing to look at really.
So yeah, overall okay tour and had relatively good time!
The boat is basically an inflatable tube but i felt 100% safe the entire time! The captain knew what he was doing and it was a blast. It’s a long time to sit on the seats but they talk you through how long each segment is before going to the next stop. A great way to swim in different places and see different islands in Croatia. The blue cave is amazing to see, crazy that it’s 24 euros to go in for 10 mins but that’s not this crew’s fault. Our host Niki and captain Steve were very nice. It’s a long day so bring water, sunscreen, and good vibes!
A great day visiting the various islands near Split. Skipper, Jacob & Matt, were great! We had so much fun with them as we traveled on the speedboat to Blue Cave, Blue Lagoon, Hvar, etc. A full day, which shouldn’t be missed.
We booked as a group of 6 friends ranging from 50-63 years old and we all absolutely loved it, such a fantastic day out and experience!! Nina and Ella our skipper were so friendly, great fun and made our boat trip an unforgettable day, thank you both so much!
We had music all day with singalong classics that made the day. Be prepared that there is no shade on the boat and 10 of the seats are like straddling a horse but with handles to hold on too and padded back support, the back two are just one full length seat.
The blue cave was breathtaking and all the visits were wonderful. It’s actually only 4 islands you visit as one is a drive by. Water shoes may help at the blue lagoon beach but not essential.
Hats, caps and anything not on super tight will be lost at sea, as they can fly off with the wind!
Don’t forget your sun lotion and a hair clip for long hair :)
