Bruno was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The Krka waterfalls were picturesque and the boardwalk made for an easy walk around the park The visit to Mateo’s family winery with his award winning wines and generous samples made for a very enjoyable day.

Great day. Bruno was a great guide and very accommodating as my husband has some mobility issues. Loved the waterfalls in the park. The wine and olive oil tasting was very nice and in a unique small winery with a great host. Private tour is great as we could alter to exactly what we wanted to do and for how long.

Amazing. Bruno was super kind and personable. The winery at the end was perfect, we had the winery to ourselves. We walked the vineyard and picked fruit from the fruit trees. So amazing.

Out of a 3 week vacation with a new excursion almost daily, this tour was easily in our top 3 experiences while in Europe. We had a group of 10, 4 adults and 6 kids, and everyone agrees this was one of our favorite days on vacation. Bruno was very communicative, knowledgeable, and friendly and made everything a breeze. The waterfalls are beautiful and we are glad we saw them, but the trip to Mateo’s winery alone was worth the price of admission—the food, wine and atmosphere were among the most delicious and authentic we experienced and when we go back to Croatia, we will be making a return visit. If you only book one excursion for your day/time in Split, I can’t recommend this trip highly enough.

We had the best time with Bruno! He was accommodating, funny, and kind. Krka waterfall was beautiful and Bruno provided great directions. After a walk through the national park, we went to a private wine tasting paired with prosciutto, cheese, olives, olive oil, and bread! We ate herbs and fruits from his garden. Mate Sladic, owner of winery, was the sweetest authentic Croatian man. Couldn't have asked for a better excursion. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Our excursion with Bruno was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Croatia! From start to finish, he made the experience seamless, enriching, and so much fun.
We started the day with a visit to Krka National Park, where Bruno guided us through the stunning waterfalls and lush scenery with the perfect mix of history, local insight, and humor. His knowledge of the area—and his passion for sharing it—truly brought the landscape to life.
After soaking in the beauty of Krka, we headed to a local winery for a tasting, and it was absolutely delightful. The wine was fantastic, the views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Bruno clearly knows the best hidden gems and made sure everything was relaxed, unhurried, and perfectly paced.
Throughout the day, Bruno was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating—the kind of guide who feels like a friend by the end of the trip. He answered every question, anticipated every need, and made us laugh along the way.

We highly recommend this tour! Our guide Bruno was wonderful, he picked us up from the cruise port and brought us to the krka falls with ease. He was friendly and knowledge, giving insight on living in Croatia. He arranged the purchase of the Falls tickets for us, and brought us right to start of the trail. We exited the park by boat and Bruno was waiting for us at the dock. We then went to a local farm and winery, that was amazing! We loved meeting Mateo the owner, touring his farm, and trying his wines along with delicious food tray and bread! This tour was the best and we highly recommend!

My husband and I went on this with friends and it was easily the best experience of our time in Split. Bruno made the transportation seamless, and was so kind and informative. Everything was well organized all the people we met were wonderful friendly. They went over and above to make sure we had a good day. The best part of our day was the winery, and we really love the way they showed us around the wine and met the wine maker. It was wonderful very good life experience.

This trip was amazing, highly recommend! Bruno was an awesome tour guide— picked us up at our Airbnb on time, drove us to krka national park while chatting with us about the history of Croatia and answered all of our questions, and even gave us tips about the park. Once in the park, we had about two hours to explore which was awesome. After the park, we went to a winery owned by Mateo who was absolutely lovely. He gave us wine tastings, walked us around the vineyard, and told us about the history of the winery. Best tour we’ve done in Croatia— cannot recommend more!!

Great trip with Bruno! Bruno was at our hotel ready to go early. We had a great conversation during the ride the whole time. He was knowledgeable about all of Croatia and pointed out interesting things along the trip. Going with Bruno you get special access inside the park which makes it great to get started quickly and not having to be bused into the park. You get a long as you want in the park and he is waiting for you outside the park where he takes you to a local small independent winery, which was the gem of the trip. Such a sweet owner who takes pride in his family craft. You get to tour the winery after lunch which was a great experience. The wine is amazing and recently award winning at that. Do not sleep on this experience, it’s worth it!

Bruno was an amazing driver and host. Very knowledgeable on Split and it’s more recent history and so easy to talk to. He also managed to beat the queue for the Krka Waterfalls and a discount on the usual admission price (€40 in June). After walking down the boardwalk to the river we took the ferry ride to Skradin, where Bruno was waiting to pick us up. As we walked through the pretty little town, Bruno pointed out places of interest and historic details. He then drove us to a small winery for a rustic lunch and wine tasting. From the winery it was just over a hour to our hotel back in Split where he dropped us off. The whole trip lasted about seven hours. Ideal for us with just the right amount of travelling involved. We had a wonderful day and could not have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended.

The tour to Krka Waterfalls with lunch and wine tasting checked all the boxes for making unforgettable vacation memories. Bruno, our tour guide, was top of the line from start to finish. He was prompt to pickup, very professional, fun, knowledgeable, provided great details to enhance our visit at the falls and his vehicle was sparkling clean. This tour was our favorite of the four different tours we took. Krka Falls was beyond breathtaking and easy to navigate on boardwalks. We were allowed plenty of time to take in all the waterfalls and overload our phones with pictures. We enjoyed the peaceful boat ride to the small port of Skradin to meet Bruno for the second portion of our day: lunch and wine tasting at a local farm. Our lunch was plentiful with homegrown and locally made bread, cheeses, meats, olives and vegetables. Our tummies were full and our thirst satisfied, tasting all the different liquors and wines. Since this was a private tour, we had the tasting room all to ourselves. Overwhelmed with the beauty of the day and all the delicious food and drink, we enjoyed a quiet and scenic ride back to our hotel. Thank you to Bruno for this most enjoyable day! One of the highlights of our trip to Split. While the palace was fun and the seaside was interesting the Krka Waterfalls were magnificent. The shear natural beauty and power of the waterfalls were both peaceful and breathtaking. Bruno was our driver and he did a fabulous job. He was informative and gave us wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. After the falls we went on to a wonderful family owned winery where we were embraced by Matao and his sons. Bruno was an invaluable help with translation and we left feeling like we had made a new best friend. I couldn't rate this experience highly enough. If you pass up this adventure you are short changing your visit to Croatia.

This day was the highlight of our trip . Bruno was a perfect host and was very friendly , polite and knowledgeable. He communicated plans and timings and was punctual . The waterfalls were amazing and the trip to the local farm was charming . It was my partner’s birthday & Bruno & Mateo made it a special occasion by surprising us with a dish with candles & sang happy birthday. It was so thoughtful . Beautiful wild flowers on the table & a delicious lunch . I cannot recommend Bruno highly enough . 10/10

Bruno was fantastic. The trip to Kyka falls went as described & umbrellas were provided for the rain. The little hike is nice but crowded. We enjoyed the organic winery more so. The beautiful drive and lovely people made the trip out of split made it all worth it. Excellent communication & excellent value compared to any cruise ship excursion. Highly recommend

This is one of my favorite tours of all time. The beauty of the Krka waterfall and the forest was worth the 90 minute drive. Then to follow with boat ride and tour of Skradin really made it special. What took it to the best tour ever was the visit to Mateo and his vineyard / olive farm. He is a wonderful host and I am an admittedly fussy wine drinker. His wines were so delicious and unique. It is exposure to the true rural Croatia. Do yourself a favor and take this tour with Bruno. He is the best guide and translator !!

My wife and I had an amazing time in this day trip. Bruno was a phenomenal guide, he was energetic and friendly, we loved the insight he provided into the history of Split as we drove to Krka. The waterfalls were amazing could not have had a better time. Bruno had perfect insight to leave a little early to beat the tourist buses. The winery and lunch was a highlight, we enjoyed a moment that felt very unique compared to the other options we explored. This trip is perfect for couples or groups. Book this trip!

This is a must do! Krka is absolutely spectacular! Visually stunning at every turn. The wine tasting is unlike any experience we have ever had. Small family owned, multi generations, where they make their own wine and olive oil. We loved the experience so much more than the commercialized wine tastings. We left with some red wine, a bottle of homemade mulberry liqueur and of course, olive oil.
Bruno, the tour guide, was the best! Very friendly, gave us history along the drive as well as at Krka and the wine tastings. He went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect.

This excursion was one of the best I have ever been on. I’m not sure I have the perfect words to describe it. I’ve never seen so many waterfalls in one place. The water did not flow to a river that overflowed. This crystal clear, powerful water comes from anywhere and flows to everywhere all over the park, creating layers and layers of cascading waterfalls. It is stunning to hear the gush of the water and see the flow and feel the mist of the largest falls even from far away. We learned that Croatia is ranked 5th in the world for water to include quantity and quality, and it was easy to see why.
We then continued the day to a local farm of mostly vineyards and olive trees, but also several other vegetables and spices. We met Mateo who was the talented yet humble owner who made the wine and olive oil and cheeses and cured the meats we enjoyed for lunch. We got to visit his wine cellar and walk his land and hear his stories, generational stories of that land and what it created. He asked me to sign his guest book, and I left a note thanking him for sharing his talents and treasures with us as something we would always remember. It brought tears and an embrace from a sweet man who was a stranger just hours before. It was so very special!
Our host for the entire experience was Bruno from Beautiful Day Croatia Travel who I highly recommend when you go visit. He curated the perfect day for us! Croatia definitely ranks as one of my favorites, if not the very favorite.

I spent 6 days traveling all through Croatia on a high-end cycling excursion. Every day of that trip was more and more incredible. I booked a trip with Bruno for after that trip was over, and I must say that my time with Bruno was even more incredible than the cycling excursion. After getting us to the beautiful waterfalls, he took us to an incredible small production winery where the owner primarily still does all of the work himself. Mateo is incredibly proud of his product, and he should be. His wine and liquors were incredible. They surpassed the quality of the wine I had been drinking at Michelin star restaurants my entire trip. At the end of the trip, at my request, Bruno even took me to a large supermarket to check out the local products. I highly recommend this trip to anyone. Beautiful sights, incredible wine, and amazing hosts! Thank you Bruno and Mateo!
