My husband and I visited Croatia for the first time (April 2026). We kept hearing from friends and locals that we should do a tour of the islands. We are so glad we took their advice! Nikola and Duje were our captains/crew members and they were AMAZING! They gave us an experience of a lifetime! The water was pretty choppy that day but they navigated the water impeccably and the entire tour group was amazed of how well they managed through the waves/swells. They were a great team and made everyone feel safe, comfortable and ready for a fun day! The blue cave happened to be closed that day due to the weather, but they showed us some other great spots and even got to check out another cave.
They provided jackets for us (if we were cold or if we didn’t want to get splashed by the water). My husband and I also brought a small backpack and bottles of water. The speed boat is fast, so just make sure you can secure your bag to your body (I wore my bag on my chest).
My husband and I loved our tour and we highly recommend this experience, especially with Nikola and Duje!

This is a very bumpy boat ride on a very small boat. My family and I loved our day on the water but they did say the blue caves closes quite often so just a warning.

Maria and Ivan were amazing tour guides for an epic day! The Blue Cave and the island were so beautiful plus great swimming!

Maria and France were the best guides! It was truly a unique and wonderful experience. One thing to know- the seats on the boat are more saddle style than bench style. But we wouldn’t have missed it!

What a great day trip from Split! We all loved seeing the Blue Cave and enjoyed getting a chance to explore multiple locations. We did not read closely enough to know the type of boat we'd be traveling on, so be prepared for a bumpy, wet ride. Would also recommend water shoes for your time at the beach. It's rocky and there are sea urchins in the water. Wear swimsuits the entire time -- we got as wet on the boat as we did swimming!

Our tour guides, Anna and Duje were great. The sites we visited were interesting. However, I have several recommendations. 1. There needs to be some type of sgnage to identify the correct location for departure and staff should wear t-shirts or something to identify them with the company. It was difficult to find the staff with no identifying signage. 2. I also think wter should be provided to guests as a courtesy, especially given the cost of the tour. 3. It was not made clear that the 24 Euro cost for the Blue Cave was not optional as there was no way to decline. As a result, it should be included in the cost of the ticket. In addition, I am not sure it was worth the additional cost. 4. Lastly, this trip is not advisable for people who suffer from motion sickness or with certain phusical challenges as you will literally be bounced around for 1.5 hours straight on the first leg of the trip alone.

Great full day visiting the blue caves and wonderful other islands. Hvar was great for a late lunch and the organising was great. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a great time on the island hopping excursion from Split to the Blue Cave and Blue Lagoon. The Blue Cave was really cool to see and definitely worth the visit. We also loved swimming at the Blue Lagoon. The water was absolutely beautiful and crystal clear.
One thing to be aware of is that there is very limited shade at the Blue Lagoon and no food available, so it’s a good idea to bring sun protection and grab some snacks before the tour. Our tour guides did a great job of letting everyone know this ahead of time, which made the day much more enjoyable.
The guides were excellent throughout the trip. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable. They kept us informed, were well organized, and helped make the whole experience fun and relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Split!

Only saw 4 islands now 5. Blue cave was amazing though. Speed boats were brutal. Sea was rough and we were in back row. I was drenched solid both going there and coming back to Split. That part was pretty brutal and not much fun. Sort of ruined it for me.

10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants an adventure. Boat trip there was smooth. Of course due to tides, currents, etc it was a alittle bumpy. The crew was fantastic and super friendly. The only thing I am upset about is not getting any lavender ice cream :(. I had to settle for the chocolate orange (which was phenomenal).

Loved it! Great value for money. We got to see so many different parts of Croatia. Our guides Ivan and his assistant did an excellent job on the tour!

You know the saying.....when life throws you lemons, make lemonade! Well that's exactly what happened for our 5 Island, blue cave, Hvar cruise. It was too windy to sail to Hvar. We were offered a refund or reschedule but timing constraints didn't allow a reschedule. We decided to go on the 'alternate' cruise. We were initially very disappointed (Hvar was a must do on our itinerary) and getting out of the harbor was rough. However, it turned into a spectacular day! We went to several smaller islands, swam in a couple of gorgeous lagoons, had a wonderful meal in Milna and met an amazing couple from New Zealand. Our captain navigated the initial rough waters very well. As the day went on the waters were calmer or he found calmer waters, either way worked. First stop was Trogir for a swim, then made stops at Milna on Brac for lunch, another island for an hour to walk and see the village and Maslinica for a final swim. It turned into a lovely day. We are still disappointed that we missed Hvar as we are leaving Split. The driver, Nikolai and the captain was Luca and were the absolute BEST!!! (The islands may but all be correct, going from memory, which is Old).

This day trip wasn't exactly as advertised. The boat was sort of uncomfortable and we were squeezed in right behind others sort of ruining the time on the water. The 2nd swimming beach cannot be one of the best in the area - it was crowded, no real beach to sit on, no fish to snorkle with nor and the bottom was rough and it was packed.

Anna and Duje did an excellent job with this tour. The places we visited were beautiful, and the two restaurants where we ate were terrific. My favorites were the Blue Cave and the city of Hvar.

Overall, this was a really good tour and a fun way to experience multiple Croatian islands from Split. The Blue Cave was definitely worth seeing, but make sure you bring cash for the entrance fee since it's not included.
The boat seats are pretty uncomfortable, but they play music and go fast, so the rides between stops actually go by pretty quickly. A lot of the stops are self-guided, which I liked because it gave us time to explore at our own pace.
I'd also recommend wearing water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting wet since you'll likely be walking into the water at some of the stops.
Our tour left right at 7:15 a.m. and we were back a little before 6:00 p.m., so it was a full day but well organized and ran on time. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd definitely recommend it!

Barbara and Frane were amazing hosts. The islands and blue cave were beautiful. Hvar was also a highlight. Lots of time to explore the town and swim.

Traveling by speed boat was my favorite part! It was fun to see Hvar for a little bit and the blue cave was cool to see.
The tour provided snorkel gear as well.

Prepare for fun times, new friendships and bumpy seas if there is wind!! Bring water with you for the boat rides just in case.
julie_h, Jun 2026
We enjoyed this trip, the natural beauty of the attractions and the swimming opportunities made it worthwhile. I would recommend taking plenty of water and good fitting headwear to protect from the sun and wind whilst on the speedboat. There was a problem with the boat during the trip which led to some delays. We didn’t make it to the sandy beach. The skipper didn’t communicate a clear procedure for the plan and at one point all 12 passengers were told to get into the water but there wasn’t enough life jackets for everyone. Luckily another boat arrived which we transferred into but we were now on a beach with minimal shade and no water supply whilst we awaited a working boat to take us to Hvar. Despite this, communication from our host Barbara was fantastic, she was very calm, professional and kept us upto date throughout. They got the boat working and it took us back safely to Split. We know unforeseen problems can arise but I would recommend the company Meyer ensures life jackets are available for all passengers before each boat trip and we should be wearing them before setting off.

What a great day, the right balance of time at each place. Nikola and Marinovic were great hosts and I felt very informed and safe. Beware, the boat might not be what you expected - it is made for speed, not comfort - but great fun!
miri_A, Jun 2026
it was not mentioned in the booking that ihe trip will be in a speedbot.
In addition there was no cover in the boat so we had a direct sun all day.
Too many hours of travel. It was better to skip 1 or 2 spots and shorten the ride.
Also we stopped at a beach bar in one of the islands and it was very crowded and no place to sit on the beach.
sorry but not recommended at all.
Sukh_J, Jun 2026
Important to know that the boat that takes you on this tour is small and the ride is very rough. The boat is about 25 ft long and 10 ft wide. People sit as couples over five rows. Your seat is like a cushioned saddle. You hold on to the seat in front of you. From Split, it is over 90 minutes to the Blue Cave. At the end of the day, it's over 60 minutes back to Split from the last stop.
If you are not comfortable on the sea or have back issues, you may want to consider a tour with a bigger, more comfortable boat.
The boat and rough ride aside, the tour of the Blue Cave (which requires an additional payment per person) and the other island stops were very nice and enjoyable.
Sarah_M, Jun 2026
Ecah and every stop on the itinerary was a worthwhile see and do. Plenty of opportunities throughout the day to cruise on boat seeing sights from the sea, as well as up close and personal on the land (beach and town). If you enjoy seeing and experiencing a taste of new and old, within an appropriate pace, this tour is for you!
Harjot_B, Jun 2026
The experience was well worth the money and our tour guides Luca/ Bose and Marinovic were very clear about how the day was structured and communicating with us and answering my questions! They definitely made the trip and the boat ride a very fun experience
Gina_F, Jun 2026
Great trip! The Blue Cave was amazing, this was a good way to see some islands. Our Captain and tour guide were fantastic.
The seating on the boat is a bit uncomfortable. The way the boat is structured we had to straddle the seats, like we were riding a horse all day. The ride to the blue cave was 90 mins. Kind of a long time to sit in that position.
Overall it was a good day.
yelenaitkin, Jun 2026
Overall good experience, but too sad we couldn’t get to blue cave due to weather conditions. Team of boat drivers was excellent!
Alex_M, Jun 2026
I wouldn’t do this again. Our tour guides were lovely and they were able to add my brother at the last minute which was great. But you spend so much of the day on a boat where you’re hanging on for dear life and you can’t hear anything it’s hard to justify the trip. The islands were all pretty but none so much so that I’m glad I went. Maybe if we’d seen the blue cave I would feel differently.
Worth knowing before you go: The first 90 minutes are just straight driving where you can’t talk to anyone, you can’t hear anything except the captains music, you have to hang on cause certain rides are pretty bumpy and can’t even really take pictures without fear of losing your phone. Also I think the restaurant on Hvar they brought us to was terrible and expensive.
ladams669, Jun 2026
Fran and Eddie were amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, and they made the whole experience fun for all ages! There were 4 generations in our group of 7.
John_K, Jun 2026
Antonia is a superb host. So friendly and upbeat and informative. The trip itself is breathtaking. A definite must see in Croatia.
christina_m, Jun 2026
We had the best time on this boat trip. The Blue Cave was closed due to wind, but Mare and Duje still made it an enjoyable experience. It was chilly starting off in the morning on fast boats, but we were provided waterproof jackets. It made all the difference and we didn’t need them the rest of the day. It was the perfect way to explore Hvar as well as some other islands and beaches.
