My partner and I had a great day out, we loved the speed boat ride although it was quite long (1.5 hours to the first destination) it really was worth it. Carmen was our guide and Ante our skipper they were both lovely and so helpful. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking a nice day out

Very disappointed with customer service’s response to change due to weather.

Cheryl_T, Apr 2026
I reached out to the company to change the date of the tour due to predicted weather - rain. The site states 24/7 customer support and response not true. I sent two emails during the day -no response until 10:00 pm. The response was negative. When I spoke with a person the next day, that woman would not listen and talked over me throughout the conversation. I did not want a refund, just a date change. Very dissatisfied. During the day of the original date, she sent me numerous messages trying to justify her position. Not interested, didn’t respond and will not recommend the tour company. We went with another company and book three different tours through them. Our experience with Viator was very disappointing and would not recommend them.

Fabulous experience!!

Brilliant Experience

Nicolas and Boze were brilliant throughout the tour. Although the highlight the Blue Cave, was closed they made the day special by showing us different sites and showing thoughtfulness throughout. A brilliant experience.

Yougik_p, Apr 2026
I have checked price everywhere it is same like yours but in this price they give water and some soft drinks and 1 beer each. But we dont even get single bottle water. Other place they told me it will come big boat this is very small boat. Both person was soo friendly but if company charge 110 for each then it should some drink and snacks. That's my honest review

We had a great day with Nikola and Ivan! This was the perfect way to explore the Dalmatian coast. Something new to experience on every island.

Cancelled without warning

Sophia_h, Oct 2025
The activity was cancelled due to weather. It would have been nice to receive a text showing a cancellation . Instead I was bombarded with text messages to get ready and be there by 7:20am. We got up early and rushed there. No one was there to let us know it was cancelled. An email was sent late night. Yet text messages kept repeating the trip was on. I was very disappointed the way this was handled. They should have texted us that morning and /or had someone show up to let us know it’s cancelled. We were not the only ones who showed up and waited for a tour guide to show up. The text messages might be automated but very misleading

Excellent day trip from Trogir

Cormac_R, Oct 2025
I booked this trip from Trogir as something to do during my time in Trogir. I saw a few of the islands off the Croatian mainland during this trip. The views you get during this trip are stunning. You are given sufficient time at each of the locations. The driver of the boat and guide were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, during my trip, we were unable to see the blue cave, for safety reasons. In fairness we were brought to see the green cave, which is another cave in the area. This did make up for missing the blue cave. I would highly recommend this trip, if you are staying in Trogir or Split.

Beautiful

Excursion Tuesday,...

France_B, Oct 2025
Excursion Tuesday, September 23 We didn't go to the Blue Cave. Apparently, it was closed due to the winds. We weren't given many details about it. Since the schedule had changed, I asked if we were going to Komiza and Stivina Cove, and the guide told me that her colleague had mentioned it before departure, but I hadn't heard anything except for the Blue Cave. I was very, very disappointed because those were the three things I wanted to see. Also, the guide we had was bored. It was like an audiotape was talking to us.

Wonderful day exploring different islands

Caitlin_F, Oct 2025
Wonderful day on the water. Boris and Kiara were lovely guides who ensured we were safe and comfortable. They provided us with ideas of what to do at each island, and they even took us to an extra island when we were unable to attend the blue cave due to unfavourable weather. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Croatia!

Hvar tour and 5 islands by boat

jacqui_w, Sep 2025
I loved being on the water and seeing these islands. However, even tho I am a boater, I wasn't prepared for rough seas and long distances on a rigid inflatable police boat, tightly packed in. It was rough out there today! I think they need to get better boats and on rough seas, maybe not do it. We were hitting the water hard.

5 islands tour from Split

Ieva_B, Sep 2025
Brilliant day on 5 islands tour from Split. We were looked after by Ante and Valentina, they were knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions for local cuisine. We would recommend this tour as it was interesting and fun!

The Perfect Island Hopping Day

Constance_L, Sep 2025
The main draw of the tour was the Blue Cave, but when we returned to Split, we were left with so many other great memories! From swimming in the crystal clear beach waters of the Blue Lagoon, to the relaxing town of Komiza where we enjoyed breakfast, to zipping across the seas in a speedboat, to scaling the heights of Hvar's fortress, we had a very memorable, adventurous day. Maria and Maslo, our guide and boat driver, were wonderful and explained everything well. If you're looking for an island hopping day tour with the perfect blend of sightseeing and swimming, look no further!

Visit to lovely locations but could be so much better

Janet_M, Sep 2025
Accepted that you are told the trip is unsuitable for those with back problems. What is not made clear is that the time between stops is sometimes over an hour. You are sitting straddled on an upright uncomfortable seat. Initially the bumps and speeds are exhilarating but they do get tedious after a while. We visited some lovely places but the blue cave is vastly overrated. You won’t be told until you get there that you can’t snorkel there anymore. You will be offered a snorkel at (on my trip) two further locations but to be honest the fish are limited and not very spectacular. Hvar is stunning but you’ll visit it last after your swimming trips feeling grubby and in need of a shower. . You won’t be at your best to spend two hours in a quite sophisticated location! There are so many ways this trip could be better with a little more organisational planning.

Bumpy speed boat ride , but a fun filled day!

James_M, Sep 2025
A rather bumpy speed boat ride, be prepared for an hour and half there and hour back. Would definitely look into a bigger boat in future to enjoy the speedboat experience more. Make sure you bring water and plenty of food. The stops and shorts and you want to make the most of the stops rather than eating and drinking. My personal view. Hvar is beautiful you will spend 2.30 hours here , my next holiday destination !

Fun day out

Elizabeth_M, Sep 2025
Had a great day out touring the islands. Unfortunately due to rough seas the blue cave was closed but our guide more than made up for it and we even got an extra stop on Brac which was lovely. The islands are beautiful and the swimming stop is lovely and quiet too. The speed boat is also a fun and quick way to get to all the islands.

Great tour - highly recommend!

mandabuffly, Sep 2025
Things to know/bring: 1. Be on time otherwise the boat will leave without you! 2. Cash 24 Euro for the Blue Cave 3. Water shoes for the rocky bottom of Blue Lagoon 4. Towel to dry off from swimming 5. Fortica Fortress in Hvar takes 25-30 min to walk up so plan accordingly The tour guide gave interesting facts, not information overload, just the perfect amount and spoke clear English.

Best way to spend a day in Split!

Jenna_M, Sep 2025
This was the highlight of our stay in Split! The best way to spend a day in Croatia is to be on a boat and this delivered! Philip was a great guide/ captain, very knowledgeable and great music taste! We went to multiple islands, stopped for meals and to explore, spent time in the sea and on the beaches. We did it all! Would 100% recommend this activity!

Great Day! Blue Caves Amazing!

Stephnee_W, Sep 2025
Our guide Karmen & skipper Anze were GREAT! Informative, fun and the best music ever! NOTE: bring water and supplies for a full day in the sun. We stop at two adorable islands with great food and stories worth every minute!

Fun day island hopping!

Ashley_P, Sep 2025
Island tour from Split. We went first to the blue cave. Gorgeous! You transfer into another boat to go into the cave (extra charge). Then we visited a cove where you can swim, a small town where you can walk around and eat breakfast then a beach where you can swim and Hvar. Hvar is gorgeous with a lovely waterfront promenade, swimming and a fort at the top offering beautiful views. The guides were great! Ante (our boat driver) & Marieta (our guide) made the day fun with music and good explanations about what we were going to see & do. I loved this tour!! It’s a great way to see more of the beautiful islands of Croatia!

Great Tour

Elena_P, Sep 2025
The speedboat is fast and you’ll get a little wet. Bring water shoes if you’re going to swim. Great guides!!

Pleasant but room for improvement

Hong_N, Sep 2025
I enjoyed the trip overall but would kindly like to make a few suggestions. In the morning, the meetup was a little chaotic and confusing. A lot of people arrive to the meetup and it’s not clear which guide you are with. I think announcing that would make things clearer. The boat goes quite fast, so I would not recommend it to seasick people. It was quite thrilling. If you go in this tour, take the offer of the windbreaker in the morning as the air is quite chilly once you get going. The seats are quite uncomfortable because you have to straddle it. If you have any sensitivity to back issues or a comfortable ride is important to you, there are plenty other tour groups that provide this itinerary and can also be booked last minute. Lastly, I would suggest the tour guide create a WhatsApp group so that time departures are reminded again. Everyone is responsible for making it back to the drop off of each island and this is very important. We ended up having to leave a few people behind unfortunately.

Magical memories

Emily_A, Sep 2025
My boyfriend and I did the Blue Cave 5 Island tour today and had the best time! Even though some bad weather meant we couldn’t safely go see the Blue Cave, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Lara was so sweet and thoughtful, she gave us great recommendations for things to do and eat at the islands we stopped at. It was my first time on a boat and I’ll admit I was a little nervous at the start, but Nikola handled the choppier waters so well that I always felt safe and in good hands. By the end I was actively sad it was over! The islands were stunning, the boat ride was fun, and the crew made the whole day special. I’d love to come back and do the tour again with Nikola and Lara when I visit Croatia again!

A great day

Greg_P, Aug 2025
Nichola and Maria were our guides and skipper for our boat trip. They worked so hard for us. The Blue Cave was closed because of swell and tide. This can happen quite often. They took as into another cave which was so good then to another little cove for a swim as we had time. Nichola handles the boat really well and got us into some incredible places. I would recommend them.

Brilliant day

Stuart_H, Aug 2025
The special trip on its own was amazing - an exhilarating 90 min journey to the blue cave. All the sights are beautiful (cave, Hvar). We even spotted an octopus while snorkelling in the blue lagoon!

Shahbaz_K, Aug 2025
Philip and Laura were absolutely amazing! Very warm and fun.. the speedboat ride was on time and the whole experience felt relaxing and we got plenty of time to enjoy all the spots. They were both very kind to give local recommendations as well. All in all highly recommended and 5 stars all the way!

Mayer Charter- please be advised

Mariedelle_T, Aug 2025
Blue Cave and Hvar Tour - 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir I was very disappointed with our experience with Mayer Charter. Received a message the day prior that our tour that was originally scheduled on July 28, 2025- Monday is cancelled due to rain. We had agreed to rescheduling it the following day, Tuesday. There were to Tour companies on the pick up location and we arrived there around 6:45 AM. We were looking forward to this. Just as we’re in the boat, captain announced that The Blue Cave is not open until 10am and we will start our day in Hvar instead. We spent a great time there. Our next stop was Palmizana island where there was a garden, nice swimming spots and bars & we spent a good amount of time in there as well. Everyone at this time was excited and thinking it was time to go to The Blue Cave which was the highlight of the tour but, instead we went to another island & advised this is our stop for lunch and walk/ swim (again). I approached the tour guide and to ask if Blue Cave would be our next stop. She then stated No, Blue Cave is closed, this is not a scam and we can check the website. I proceeded to asking what would be the next stop then as there is also a Limestone Cave as well as Bisevo- natural Pearl cave beside the Cave Bisevo that is highlighted on the website. I booked this through Viator BTW. There is a disclaimer on the website with Cave Bisevo that in case the Cave is closed they provide alternative attractions to visit. Which is understandable. However, the other caves we could have visited. Instead they took us to other islands (5 islands total for the day). Which was basically the same feel. Swimming and towns were much smaller. If they could have let us know that the cave was closed for the day like the other tour company we could’ve opted out to just staying in Split for a day or opted to a much cheaper tour company that offers 5 island tour for 70€. The lack of transparency and poor communication made the experience feel misleading, especially since the Blue Cave was the highlight we booked for. And if I didn’t asked in the 3rd island we visited we wouldn’t have known that The Blue Cave is closed. They did took us to other islands but that’s not what I booked this tour for. Taking us to at least one of the caves would’ve at least been better than having us walk around to really just another island and it didn’t offer much. Hvar was beautiful but we could’ve just went there. For a tour that cost us $512, we felt the value was not delivered. A partial refund of $92 was issued, but considering alternative tours offering similar experiences for much less, it felt inadequate. Clearer communication and honesty from the start would have allowed us to make a better-informed choice.
