- If you feel that you need life jacket ask our crew to give it to you. All boats are equipped with 12-14 lifejackets.

My husband and I visited Croatia for the first time (April 2026). We kept hearing from friends and locals that we should do a tour of the islands. We are so glad we took their advice! Nikola and Duje were our captains/crew members and they were AMAZING! They gave us an experience of a lifetime! The water was pretty choppy that day but they navigated the water impeccably and the entire tour group was amazed of how well they managed through the waves/swells. They were a great team and made everyone feel safe, comfortable and ready for a fun day! The blue cave happened to be closed that day due to the weather, but they showed us some other great spots and even got to check out another cave.
They provided jackets for us (if we were cold or if we didn’t want to get splashed by the water). My husband and I also brought a small backpack and bottles of water. The speed boat is fast, so just make sure you can secure your bag to your body (I wore my bag on my chest).
My husband and I loved our tour and we highly recommend this experience, especially with Nikola and Duje!

Such a fun day. While the Blue Cave was closed due to weather, this tour still delivered. They added an extra stop, so it still felt like a full day. Maria and Nikola were excellent. Nikola was a great driver and really surpassed expectation. He did everything he could to minimize the waves for the smoothest ride possible. We saw so many others from a different booking company totally soaked, while we were nice and dry.
Was amazing, definitely recommend. Lots of really good stops on the tour, boat is freezing so pack layers!
It's NOT what they advertised for Blue Cave. They didn't bother to go there. Instead, they took you to Green Cave which is so much less attractive. Buyer be aware
This was the most dangerous and unpleasant experience I ever faced in life. I honestly felt like my safety was in jeopardy, and that I could’ve been killed. The boat ride was uncomfortable for me sitting in the most unpleasant seat. The ride to each island especially in the morning was very scary the bounce from going through the currents. I get it’s controlled by the weather, but then why use such boat for these conditions? And then in the way back to Split we got soaked. I’m cold and had wet clothes, and this was very uncomfortable. My wife and I were soaked, and this is not how we should’ve felt in any tour. Even though this was due to a boat malfunction, the company needs to take liability for the danger it could’ve done to us all. We could’ve got into a serious accident, and I did not come all the way out to Croatia to say goodbye to this world. I would not recommend this tour, after what happened. And for those on the tour on 10/15 need to voice this concern. We ALL got wet in the way back from Hvar to Split. They should never use such a boat for this tour. And I am dealing with some muscle soreness too!
It was a bucket-list experience: Entering the Blue Cave, visiting the islands of Vis and Hvar, sun, deep blue sea - what more can you want?
We were not expecting to be on a RIB. I am a short large lady and my partner is 6’ 4’’ we could not sit astride the seats but fortunately the other travellers allowed us to sit in the back seat.
We were not expecting the long journey. 90 mins to the first island and 60 mins to the second. The engine was very loud so it was not relaxing.
We were disappointed not to go to the blue Cave, the highlight of this tour. However, we enjoyed visiting the islands.
A professional, well organised tour- our guide and Nicolas, our boat driver were great. Fun selection of music to listen to while cruising between each destination. A fun day.

Great trip! A very bouncy boat ride, which was a lot of fun, but if you have a bad back, sit in the back of the boat. The snorkeling is better than described, so I recommend it when choosing among the options at some of the stops. Hvar is beautiful! One warning - Blue Cave is not open sometimes due to choppy water. That happened to us -- not a huge deal, but you may want to check how often that happens in the month you travel.
The boat has no shade and very strange seats you have to straddle. It was a bumpy, uncomfortable 1.5 hr ride to Blue Cave. Viator did not update the off-season itinerary, and we went to Palmizana instead of Budikovac island. The Stiniva Cove stop did not offer a scenic view of the stunning beach and was not long enough to swim in and enjoy it.
Great experience but be warned it is a bumpy ride. The boats are not as picture shows. The picture also shows boats on a beach and that spot we were told you had to get out and swim to if you wanted to go.
Boat ride was very jarring. Tour guide was lovely but just felt we were not given a realistic expectation of the boat. It would be better to know it is a zodiac type boat. It was a like saddling a bull for 1.5 hours on the way there and 1 hour back. So yeah definitely not for anyone that isn’t up for that.
Exit and entry into the boat on the stops was somewhat awkward and scary. And prepare to get wet when you hit the big waves.
Overall it was good to see but I wouldn’t go again on that type of boat. I ended up with a migraine and thought many times how dangerous it was in many ways. No mention of any safety measures. I wouldn’t want my kids or my parents to go on that type of boat experience. Like I said loved the stop we were able to see but the transportation could be so much better and safer. Tour guides were nice but just felt they could have been given more tools to make the experience more comfortable and safer.
This was an amazing tour. Our captain Luka and guide Dominika went above and beyond to make this a memorable journey. The water was pretty rough in the morning and in our way back and I can’t believe how Luka handle all the swells. Domininka was great at offering history lessons of the various towns and gave us ideas of places to eat and things to do once we were at certain spots. I would refer these two as captain and guide for anyone signing up for this trip. I wish I could give them more stars as a review.
We had such a wonderful day! Luka was an amazing driver and lumina was so sweet. 10/10 recommend :) We got lucky and saw the blue caves which were incredible.
Even though it was a bit windy and we missed out on the Blue Caves, our crew Luka and Leo, kept us informed and let the group make choices. We had an amazing time and really appreciated their kindness in helping it to be a great day!
(Just know the boats aren’t a traditional ski boat, but we were happy with our ride.)
A great trip but the boat might not be what you had in mind!
The islands are lovely and the blue cave is fantastic, although pretty quick.
The distance of travel on a speed boat is a lot. It’s not the most comfortable. Secure loose hair and all belongings.
But, if you’re up for it, it’s a great trip.
Amazing full day of fun, sightseeing and adventure. Domina and Nikola were great. Definitely got swimming in the blue lagoon, hvar also. Lots to choose from when eating and drinking x
The experience was a lot of fun even though due to windy conditions we were unable to go to the highlight of the tour, the Blue Cave. I'd only say that the last island was just for swimming and easily could be taken off the itinerary in lieu of more time at other islands.
We had the most amazing day with Nikolai. He provided a great experience super safe, super fun, he made it experience to remember
The boat is a small rubber speed boat, which is fun for about 30 minutes, but wishing we had booked a more comfortable boat, since this trip is all day and you are on this bumpy ride for hours. By the end of the day, the bumps are just so jarring.
The boat was totally unsafe and not comfortable. I have done this tour before with the right boat and the experience was great… this tome, it was suffering and uncomfortable.
Our skipper, Frane & guide Maria were excellent. Very informative & safety conscious. Highly recommend them.
The average score is for the boat itself. Passengers straddle narrow uncushioned benches, rather than sitting in supportive seats designed for a long trip. The layout prioritises maximum passenger capacity over comfort. There is very little personal space or room to move.
Hard, vinyl/plastic seating: in the strong sun, these surfaces became extremely hot & sticky, particularly when sitting against them for hours.
Passengers were exposed to the hot sun, with no canopy covering the seating area.

While we did not get to see the blue caves due to them beeing closed on the day, the overall trip was fairly enjoyable. However a lot of the stops were rather underwhelming, as we dont even remember the names of most of the islands and they did not provide anything to do. Like the beach island was nice looking, but there isnt even a single changing booth/room and for a touristy place was not prepared for tourism at all. Hvar was the highlight of the trip, with its small streets and beautiful sights from the fort. The tour guides resturant recomendation was also great. The speedboat ride was exciting, but not always the most comfortable.
We had a great experience with our tour guides Maria and Duje. They were great vibes, including a great playlist which we asked for after the tour. We were able to see many great spots in a day, and are glad we booked it. Highly recommend as an efficient way to see multiple islands in a day.!
Great tour seeing different islands and highlights of the region like Hvar, Blue Cave and swimming in the Blue Lagoon. A little disappointing it didn’t include at least one meal or Blue Cave entrance. Had to ask the guide to speak up and to repeat herself when giving explanation of the next location, travel time on the boat, etc. Boat needs a microphone so guests can hear important instructions & info.
Went with mum and this was such a fun experience! Was quite a long day but it was so worth it. The speed boat was a bit scary coming back with the waves, however it was a fun ride and fun experience that we would definitely do again. Our guide was really lovely as well
This was one of the best tours we did in Croatia. Our guides Marija and Fran were amazing. The blue caves were other-worldly. Hvar is definitely place I would like to see again.
Such a disappointment! The tour organisers should have cancelled the trip knowing the winds were strong & the seas were too rough. The boat trip was long & horrible. I struggled to breathe getting pelted with water in my face the whole way to the first island. Everything I had got wet in my weather resistant bag, breaking my earbuds. My teeth crashed together when the boat hit so many huge waves & I ended up with 2 cracks in my teeth costing me hundreds of dollars & being in pain for days until I got home to Australia. My mum ended up with a bruised coccyx which made her flight home very painful & my friend has 2 strained shoulders from holding on so tightly over the huge waves. Safety was not their priority! We weren't even given a Safety briefing or told where life jackets were located, I had to ask. Our guide & driver did the best they could to make the ride back easier after I complained. But this should have been cancelled as the boats aren't up to managing rough seas. Of course the blue caves were cancelled due to the weather which I know is out of the tours control, but they knew this was very likely because of the weather & it being shut the day prior but only told us once we got to the 1st island. I feel they put money over Safety & we are paying for this now with injuries.
DO NOT SKIP! I’ve been on multiple Viator excursions and this was by far my favorite. As a Pisces who loves the water, this was one of the best days of my life! 10/10 recommend.
You spend more time on the speedboat than you do enjoying any of the islands. And the boat has banana seats which is pretty uncomfortable for 5+ hours plus you're holding on for dear life. I would recommend a different type of boat if you really want to enjoy yourself - like being able to walk around, enjoy a drink or even be able to talk to fellow passengers. The Blue Cave was cool - but it's the further out island - so it adds alot of time to the excursion. I can't even name the 5 islands we went to, except Hvar which was nice. And we literally blew by the Blue Lagoon - not able to stop or swim or anything - so not worth it. Overall very disappointed in this tour and don't recommend it. The final issue was our 2 'captains' were 18 and 16 years old which felt very unsafe should we encounter any issues on the water.
