Our skipper was Marko and I would highly recommend. Very informative and knowledgeable of the area. Visited Hvar, swimming beach, Milna on Vis and other sights. The water is so crystal clear & shades of aqua/blue. We had a beautiful day on the water. Keep in mind the rental of boat does not include skipper and gasoline - these are extras but to us - worth it!

Tour was excellent. Our skipper was Josip. He was knowledgeable of the area and able to provide recommendations. Very friendly. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is because they make you fill up the gas tank which took about an hour of our tour. Strongly recommend they include the price of gas in overall fee so we can enjoy the full boating experience.

Great experience on a very fast motor boat in Split. Our skipper took us to Trogir to walk around and also to two areas to swim off the boat. One was the blue lagoon and the other was a less crowded area. We had lunch at a restaurant and then headed back to port but not before we had to fill fuel back in the boat which took some time.

I’m torn with this. On one hand, mad at myself for not reading the small print for the additional charges. On the other hand, saw some really beautiful areas and Capt Marin was top notch. Would be weary of the company but if you request Marin, you can not go wrong

This was a super fun day on the Adriatic Sea. Our boat captain was Toma. He was super chill and fun. I recommend the yacht for a group of 6 or more. We had 7 adults and it was plenty of space. The snorkeling was great and the swimming was relaxing.

We had the BEST TIME!!! We had no special requests of certain places to go due to being unfamiliar with the area, so our skipper Marin had it all planned out for us. From snorkeling unique beaches to a seaside restaurant lunch reservation, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Marin was extremely professional and truly a joy to spend the day with. It felt like boating around with a friend!

This experience is not for you if you do not have an idea of places in mind already. We got a young kid as the boat driver (still in high school). He did a great job of taking us places but didn’t really communicate with us or tell us anything about split, as some other reviews had suggested. Our tour consisted of going to 3 different swimming places (with a max time of 20-30 minute swims), old submarine locations and lunch at another islands. We also were not able to go to another island that we specifically wanted, we weren’t sure the reason.
Captain fee is 100 euros and we also had to pay for gas which was 150 euros.

We would like to clarify that none of our skippers are still in high school, although some of them may appear quite young.
This tour is designed to offer guests the flexibility to create their own itinerary. If guests do not have a specific itinerary in mind, the skipper is there to provide suggestions and recommendations. Nikola speaks excellent English, so we were surprised to hear that there may have been a misunderstanding in communication.
You requested to visit places away from the crowds, but also expressed interest in visiting Hvar, which is one of the busiest and most crowded destinations in the area. Your skipper explained this and suggested an alternative itinerary featuring more secluded, off-the-beaten-path locations, which you agreed to. Maybe this wasn't what everyone in your group wanted?

Rather then go on som circle line tour on a boat packed to the max this was the best way to go short of owning your own boat. The boat was anew 25 ft walk around with plenty of room for the three of us. The captain Kojie was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He suggested a schedule but let us pick and choose as we want. We visited 4 island towns, had an amazing lunch the the captain arranged. It was a full 8 hour day. Best day of our vacation. You should know in addition to cost of the boat there are additional fees for the gas you use and a fee for the captain plus a tip. Worth it in my opinion

It is alot of fun. A surprise to us was the 350 Euro cost of filling up the gas tank. Way more than we thought, specially that we tried to visit islands closer to Split

Marin took us out for a great speedboat tour of a few small towns and the Blue Lagoon just off the coast of our pickup location in Split. It was a windy day given the storm the previous evening but he navigated the waves well in our small speedboat. We were able to visit smaller places we would not have been able to see in our larger cruise boat. Thanks for a fun and adventurous time.

Deliberately misleading and untrustworthy – avoid at all costs
We booked what we believed to be a Saxdor 33 yacht – the exact boat shown in the Viator listing and in the booking confirmation. After payment, we were assigned a completely different and clearly inferior boat.
When we contacted the operator directly, they confirmed that the Saxdor wasn’t available and said we had booked the “large speedboat” instead. However, the booking interface gave no real choice, and the translation used in the Swedish version was the absurd term “storstor snabbbåt” (which roughly translates to “bigbig fastboat”). No clear boat names, categories, or specs were visible — only one high-end image, which turned out to be not representative at all.
When we pointed this out, the operator claimed it was “only logical” that the best boat should be shown in the image, even if that’s not the one being booked. That’s not logical – it’s deceptive marketing.
For the record: once we learned that the Saxdor wasn’t available, we didn’t demand to get it. We understood that it had been double-booked or unavailable — and we were OK with that. We simply expected a full refund, as we booked under false and misleading assumptions created by the listing.
Instead, the provider refused all accountability, and we were left to dispute the charge through Viator and our credit card company.

Bottom line:
This company lacks transparency, integrity, and any respect for their customers’ trust. You risk paying hundreds of euros for something you didn’t choose — and then getting blamed for their confusing setup.
Avoid this operator completely.

Dear Henrik,
you made a mistake while booking a boat tour. Viator declined your refund request due to their 24 hour policy (they don't issue refunds for cancellations in the last 24 hours before the start time). We had nothing to do with this. You were not our client at any point. There is no deceptive marketing. Our tour has 3 options: medium, large, and luxury. Every option is very well explained. The cover photo is showing the luxury option, while there are a lot more photos showing other options, too. This review makes no sense. If there is anyone you should post this review to, that's Viator, not our company. Please remove the review as it is making our business look bad, and we didn't do anything to deserve it.

We were a group of 10 people. We booked a large boat.
Pros -
- The skipper came on time
- Transparent with pricing (upfront cost + skipper fees + variable fuel cost)
- Extended the trip upon request at additional skipper and fuel cost
Cons -
- Tour starts at 9am and ends at 4.45pm from Split. So you only get under 8 hours, whereas other tours offer 10-12 hours with many islands
- Because of limited time, you can only cover a few islands if travel includes Split and Vis which is 1h 50m travel one way
- Because you start late, blue cave queues can get longer and tix might get sold out. Blue caves is best done in the early mornings.
- Very limited water. For a group of 10, we hardly got 1 small bottle of water each for the whole day.
- Even though we knew about the additional fuel cost, it was still a shocker at the end. The fuel gauge level at the start was not shared. We ended up filing the full tank. The large boat requires 50-60L fuel/hour. We'd have liked to know how much we'd be paying approximately.
- There's no upfront communication about anything, what to expect, etc., except on the previous day when you are informed about the skipper name and meeting point.

From the stated cons it is clear that this has nothing to do with our service but your personal preference.
The starting time and duration are clearly shown.
You covered 115 nautical miles in one day with 11 people onboard and were shocked by the fuel bill?
You insisted on visiting the Blue Cave even though you were told (by both me and your skipper Andro) that this was not the best idea. You treated your skipper and our boat with disrespect, throughout the whole day, making the skipper feel like he was your servant, and not the captain of the boat your were guests of. The skipper extended the usual timeframe for additional 3 hours to please your demands. In the end you decided to leave a bad review.
I hope whoever reads your review will also read my answer to realize how misleading your review is.

We had an absolutely unforgettable day on the water with Tamaris Charter and our exceptional captain, Antonio. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, safe, and incredibly enjoyable—even on a choppy day out at sea.
Antonio’s professionalism and experience immediately put us at ease. He created such a relaxed and friendly environment on board, while always keeping a close eye on safety. The sea was quite rough at times during our trip, but Antonio expertly adjusted our route to avoid the most exposed areas, making sure we were comfortable and secure throughout. He communicated everything clearly and thoughtfully, which we really appreciated.
Our itinerary included a beautiful swim stop at the Blue Lagoon, a serene inlet nearby, and a truly memorable lunch in Trogir, which Antonio kindly arranged for us in advance. The restaurant and setting were absolutely gorgeous.
A special moment was when we picked up half of our group directly from a small marina near their Airbnb in the bay of Kastela, which Antonio suggested to save them the drive to Split. It was such a thoughtful gesture and turned into a really magical part of the day.
The ride back to Split was fast, fun, and exhilarating—such a perfect end to the adventure. Fuel cost was very reasonable (around €100 for the day on the medium-sized boat), and given the level of service and care, we would strongly encourage others to tip generously. These guys really deserve it!
Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned boater, you’ll be in fantastic hands with Tamaris Charter and especially Captain Antonio. We’re already dreaming of our next trip!

there are no hidden costs.
Everything is clearly shown at the very first page with inclusions and exclusions. Also, a message containing info about the cost of the skipper and fuel is sent to every client.
All our boats are equipped with refrigerators and water. There was definitely water on the boat.

The boat and skipper were amazing, made us very welcome.
The lunch spot chosen for us was outstanding too. This would have been a 5-star review except for the sting in the tail at the end of the day, the fuel bill.
The information does clearly state you will pay the skipper €150 and fuel cost. But it doesn’t tell you what the fuel cost could or would be. It was over €200 which is a nasty surprise. It’s wrong this is not included in the tour cost, tell you upfront. When you have chosen a specific tour itinerary the fuel cost would be known and so could be factored into the cost.

I’m sorry to hear you were not happy with the fuel bill. A 200€ fuel bill for a 10m, 6 ton, twin engine speedboat is actually not a lot. We’re very happy with the fuel efficiency on that boat, to be honest.
As you’ve said, it is clearly stated that the fuel cost isn’t included in the price, and obviously, it can’t be, since this tour doesn’t have a fixed itinerary, and that is what makes it special.
You never asked about approximate fuel cost, or I would have calculated it for the route you have chosen.
I really feel like we did not deserve a 3 star rating, as we did nothing wrong, and you loved our service.

We enjoyed a lovely day exploring the coast of split. Our captain, Toma, was experienced and friendly and shared many insights to Croatia and the culture. We were able to spend an hour exploring the magical town of Trogir. Toma took us to some lovely turquoise coves to enjoy swimming and afterwards we enjoyed fresh seafood at a lovely restaurant. We spent a full day on the water, loving every minute. Many thanks to Toma for guiding us on a perfect excursion. No better way to experience the coastal beauty of Split.
