Definitely worth it
Very fun adventure. The transport van was full so another car took me and one couple to the base camp (€15). Driver was very friendly and funny. When we got to base camp they gave everyone gear including helmets, gloves, a rain jacket + rain pants, and a neck gaiter to cover your nose and mouth from dust. The trail started off pretty rough which is exactly what I wanted, so fun. The ATVs are very big and comfortable and absorb all the rocks and bumps very well. They max out at around 70km/hr and we were definitely riding the governor a fair amount of times. Lots of different terrain covered over around 40km in the rural countryside. Stopped to take a swim in the river, but I was the only one that jumped in since the water was pretty cold still (end of May). Bring a towel if you plan on swimming. The ATVs have a storage compartment on them big enough for small to medium backpacks or anything you want to store and there’s also places to leave stuff at base camp. Would recommend water shoes or shoes you don’t care about since you will likely get mud on them. Then we finished out the day with a delicious meal of grilled meats and potatoes and a large beer at a nearby restaurant (price included) before being driven back to Split. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Make sure you tell them you need transport from Split if you aren’t planning on renting a car to drive to base camp since it’s around 45 minutes away from the city (€15 per person, cash. Still a great deal). Left Split at 14:00 and returned around 19:30 but we also hit some road work traffic which slowed us down. A large group left early in the van and had to skip the meal to make it back to their cruise ship, so make sure you plan things like that out beforehand since they kind of got lucky their group was the only people that took the van.

Tour in historical Split with foof and wine
We had a nice tour with our professional yet laid-back guide Ana. We tasted different kinds of typical Croatian foods and beverages in market place, restaurants and stalls. Ana gave us also tour round Dioclectian’s Palace and told us interesting stories of its history.

Great intro to Split!!
A not to be missed introductory tour to Split. Toni was an amazing guide- knowledgeable, friendly, excellent English, and a dynamic speaker. He provided a detailed history of the region which provided a great context to our tour of the area. He pointed out architectural details that we would have never noticed. He also provided information about the culture, life in Croatia today, the food etc. And made suggestions on how to spend the rest of our time in Split. All in all, this was an excellent tour to start our time in this area. Highly recommend.

Easy, fun, and beautiful
We had a lovely trip to Krka, guided by Mia who is a wonderful and very informed guide. The walk through the park is really easy and beautiful, set on an elevated wooden plank trail, and has gorgeous views no matter the season. There are a wall of stairs to come out of the park to the meeting point at the end, so if you have limited mobility I would keep that in mind. We came in off season, so it was less crowded which was a bonus. Mia was so knowledgeable about not only Krka National park but also Croatia’s history and culture. Not to mention she is very funny and easy going and makes everyone feel welcomed. The bus ride up to the park is around 30/1:00h depending on traffic so you get a good break after walking. Gorgeous views on the ride to the park, only thing we’d recommend for this trip that we were glad we did is bring a packed lunch (we brought sandwiches from a bakery in Split) as the food stalls In the park are limited and a tad on the pricier side (but not crazy expensive). Great day overall, with a great guide and we felt it was worth the price.
