Daniela was knowledgeable, thoughtful and charming. One of our party is currently struggling a bit with mobility and she caterers for this very sensitively. It also meant the walk took longer and we overran. She was very generous with her time. This was a real highlight of our trip.

Daniela was fantastic!! Really informative. We were really lucky and there were only 6 of us on the tour. We pasted many other tours that were 20 people up. Two cruise ships were in town. So that might be why the other tours had so many. I would definitely recommend this one!

Our guide Josko was the best tour guide we have ever had with Viator. Knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and funny. We had a time constraint to get back to our cruise ship and he made sure he fit as much as possible into the time we had. We had toured the palace before, came away with a much better appreciation and knowledge of the site. Josko, has a tremendous amount of information that he was able to provide and was easy to understand.

Take this tour! Josko was the perfect tour guide. It was only me and my partner and he did not cancel the tour - a true, reliable professional! Josko is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Diocletian’s Palace and Split. After the tour, he walked us to a restaurant and spoke to the waiter for us since my partner has a very specific diet; we ended up having a great meal and returning to that restaurant the next day. 10/10 recommend!
Only thing to know is this is a REAL history tour, so he will not explain game of thrones scenes, but you will see game of thrones locations, just got to spot them yourself/research ahead of time the spots to take photos if that’s your thing.

We had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and learned a lot about the history of the palace, emperor and city. Our group was a manageable size and skewed older, but my teenage daughter (who likes history) appreciated it. We went in August, so it obviously gets hot later in the day (like, after the sun comes up....), so I'd recommend going on the early side. Guide was also able to recommend a good, local, not-too-touristy restaurant that most of our group wound up at that night (separately).

Joe was a remarkable tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the Palace and the history of Split. He provided great insights on how the city developed during each century. He was also quite entertaining. His humor made the 2 hours seem like only 30 minutes. I love to learn the history of each country I visit and he was fantastic. I even asked for recommendation for some local bakery and he did not disappoint! Highly recommend him.

Joško was a local and gave us incredible history about split and Croatia as well as current affairs in Croatia. The tour was close to 2.5 hours and covered everything. All questions were answered.
