This was a lovely and relaxed tour, our guides were super, local lassies, with lots of knowledge of the history of Split, the palace and life within the walls. A short bus trip to Trojir with lots of information on the area, time to explore the town as well. Highly recommend.

This was a great trip with a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide. We went first to Trogir (as traffic was going to be bad early in Split) and it is a delightful, pretty town where we sampled the local delicacy, Rafielo. Then to Split where we were taken round the Palace with our guide explaining all the parts of it. Certainly a trip not to be missed

Ivan was absolutely amazing. He was so informative. The weather was hot, but he allowed water breaks and free time in Trogir. All in all a vert good tour.

Room for Improvement

We had a tour last June 19, 2026. The tour started okay, but the transfer to Split was chaotic. Instructions were unclear, and half of the group got confused. Numerous clients were left behind in the bus and had to chase the guides who were doing the Split walking tour. During the chaotic moment, I personally tried to contact the guide, but got no response. We were unhappy, of course about the situation. When we rejoined the group we were singled out by the guide and she made a joke about us. It was not funny at all. There is definitely a large room for improvement in terms of communication and clarity of instructions.

Dear, we are sorry for the trouble, but the information gives was really clear. If you want to be dropped of in the old town you have to get of the van, if you want to be driven back to the ship stay on the bus. Not really sure what is unclear in that info.

Fully enjoyed this tour. Guide Ivana was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. She was funny and entertaining. It was a long « half day » tour. 930-330 with a fair bit of walking but not strenuous at all. Split and Trogir were both beautiful and we loved the tour.

The tour guides were great. Tour was very interesting. Much good information shared.

The pace was good. Mario managed to keep our group in the shade as much as possible sparing us from intense sun and heat. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his Country. Only issue was while in the vehicle people in the back couldn’t hear the questions and responses going on up front. He needed a small microphone to project conversation to the back of the vehicle. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and Mario very much

We enjoyed our time in Trogir and Split very much. The free time in Trogir was just enough to see things on our own and do a little shopping. The transportation was a bus that was clean and the driver did a great job. There were 31 people in our group and 2 tour guides. They divided us up so we had smaller numbers with each guide. Both guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our time in Split was also good. Lots of history here to be shared. We enjoyed walking thru the bazaar after. My only negative comment would be that the tour was a little long on a really hot day. That’s no one’s fault though! We enjoyed our time!

Great tour by Elena but in the 2.5 hours that we spent in Trogir - tour bus operator left the bus off and parked in sun. When we got back on those in back were subject to extremely high temps. It took 15 minutes of driving before hot air was no longer coming out vents. He should have started the bus at least 15-20 minutes before we boarded to allow time for the entire bus to cool.

Good communication beforehand on meeting location time. Unfortunately minibus was late due to the traffic. Started the tour in Trogir to make sure we were back in Split and not far from cruise port for ship departure. Very informative tour guide. Both the Palace and Trogir well worth a visit. Personally would prefer a smaller group but still a great tour

Best tour excursion out of the entire cruise

I would highly recommend this excursion. It was the best excursion we had out of our entire cruise experience, Antonio is one of the most knowledgeable educated tour guides that we have come across. The excursion was fabulous. If we detail was handled and we learned much more than we ever thought we would, I would not recommend any other tour group for this particular excursion. Can't say enough amazing things about them

Branka was an excellent tour guide. She provided so much history of Split and Trofir. The waking could be a little challenging because of steps and cobblestones but the tour was well worth it.

What a wonderful way to see the area and 2 cities. Trogir and the old town were made better by guide Antonia. They are interesting in themselves but so much better with Antonia commentary. Easy walking. Adequate time to explore. Trogir is about 40 min ride so the bus time to sight seeing is good. SPLIT old town is a good way to end then you just walk to your cruise. The purple umbrella identifier made it so easy to find the group.

Great communication and service - they picked us up right from the cruise ship pier, rather than making us walk into town. Appreciate that. They also had clean, comfortable accommodations on the bus to Trogir and back into Split. The tour itself was OK, lots of free time in Trogir, which was nice. The tour guide commentary felt a little subpar, a lot of recitation of facts versus true, interesting storytelling.

We really e enjoyed this tour and both cities. Antonia was a fantastic guide! She told us a lot of very interesting history and information. Some guides go on and on and on. Antonia gave the perfect amount of info. We had a great day with her and would certainly join her again:)
