Our guide Vincente and...

Our guide Vincente and our driver Joaquin provided us with an excellent day of touring in Tarragona and Sitges. Vincente was excellent at making everyone feel included and looking after everyone’s needs. Vincente took us to the Roman aqueduct outside Tarragona (which we memorably got to walk along) then gave us a great tour and overview of the highlights of Tarragona. In Sitges, we had two hours of time on our own to have lunch, explore the city or go to the beach. Thanks to the beautiful cities and Vincente’s great personality, the day flew by. A five star experience that we would recommend.

Great tour arround Lanzarote.

It is was a really great tour arround the island. I was mostly impressed by the drive on volcanos road in timanfaya and the virtuosity of Rafa, the bus driver, to navigate this road . Rachel, the guide was brilliant. Very knowlagebale about the history of the island and also very carring to everyone in the group. Thank you Rachel, thank you Rafa!

Great excursion to Montserrat and around Barcelona!

Cristina was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable! Also VERY helpful. While we were at Montserrat, I received a phone call that I mistakenly took the wrong suitcase when disembarking the cruise ship earlier that morning. Cristina was VERY helpful with getting me back to my hotel to drop off the suitcase to the rightful owners. She helped make a bad situation so much easier. The sites she showed us were amazing and I thank her and the tour company for helping make the day much easier than it could have been!

Amazing experience!

This tour is a full day amazing experience with lots of walking. Our knowledgeable tour guide Matt who was also our safe driver made the excursion interesting. He made sure we were comfortable. We had time to explore Montserrat & Sagrada Família on our own. He made sure we knew exactly what time & where to meet him. Matt is the best! My only regret was not to be able to see & touch the sphere of Santa Maria of Montserrat because there was a very long line. It was Spanish day, a holiday so even the famous Sagrada família was packed with visitors. To really enjoy Montserrat schedule a full day visit to be able to do all the activities they have. Thank you Matt for a job well done!

There is something for...

There is something for everyone on this tour- history, art, scenic views, and three options for hikes from easy to more challenging. Bus ride was comfortable and smooth. Guide Siobhan is delightful. She shared interesting stories, had useful tips for making the most of our time.

We had such a great time...

We had such a great time including the kids at Montserrat! A beautiful experience and our guide Nuria (Noria I can’t remember spelling!) was so fun and funny and knowledgeable. Our kids loved her! She was a delight and we had a lot of time and opportunity to explore. More than that, we were very thankful for the company, Julià Travel, for taking such good care of us and when we needed assistance they were kind and prompt and extremely thorough. We’re thankful for the tour, the experience, and the company.

This was a fantastic...

This was a fantastic tour, led by Isabel and our driver Juan. Isabel was very knowledgeable and friendly, delivering the tour smoothly in both Spanish and English. El Escorial feels like a hidden gem compared to Toledo and various sights in Madrid, and it’s only a 45 minute drive from the starting point. The sites were not very crowded, so we were able to get great photos throughout. The tour was well run - comfortable bus, central meeting spot, and audio transmitters so we could always hear Isabel throughout the tour. We were mostly on time - the tour is closer to 5 and a half hours, so don’t book anything else immediately after. Note that if you are booking a Sunday tour, you may not be able to visit the basilicas at both places due to church services. We were luckily still able to see them very briefly, but it was definitely rushed.

Perfect Day Trip from Madrid!

This trip was the perfect balance of having structured tours with our guide / group and having free time. Our guide, Rachel, gave excellent bi-lingual tours (Spanish/English) of both towns and answered questions along the way. Our tour included the Alcazar in Segovia which we highly recommend.

Awesome Experience for a great price

It was awesome and an amazing experience for the price. Prepare to take a lot of pictures and walking. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as it was quite hot in the mountains. The views, landscape, history and architecture were incredible. Our tour guide Ivan was very knowledgeable and helpful.
