Our day trip to Cadiz and Jerez was wonderful! Petra, our guide, was fun, enthusiastic, and spoke excellent English and Spanish—very impressive for being German. She was knowledgeable and made the day feel easy and enjoyable. I loved that she gave us time to stop for photos at beautiful spots and shared great local recommendations for food and sights. Cadiz was stunning, especially walking along the coastline and seeing the cathedral. The Jerez winery tour was lovely and informative—we left with a whole new appreciation for sherry! My only note is that it’s quite a lot to do in one day. I almost wish Cadiz and Jerez were separate tours, just to have more time in each place. Still, it was absolutely worth it, and the experience made me fall in love with both cities and want to come back to explore more.

You spend your day waiting. Naturanda started the tour 40 minutes late with no acknowledgement. The sherry tour and tasting is the only part worth doing. The rest is spent waiting. If you don't elect the horse show you wait on the bus for the ones who did elect the horse show. You have time for lunch in Cadiz and a walk to the beach. That's it. And you can't hear the guide. Carlos had lots of information but you can't hear him at all. Waste of time. This was our 2nd Viator tour and the 2nd with Naturanada and this one was equally as disappointing as the first. I do not recommend this company.

Light on information, sherry tasting and free time in Cadiz was great

There is very little information or history provided. In Jerez the sherry tasting was fi and informative but nothing about the city of Jerez or its historical significance. The guided tour in Cadiz was less than 30 minutes.

This tour (approx. 40..ish people) was very badly organized. We spent a lot of time waiting. After the sherry tasting, according to the tour itinerary there would be a city walking tour. But the tour guild had only took us to a square 3 mins away from the pick up point then she said that she was going to stop there because 4 people did not have breakfast. After wasting almost an hour of our valuable tour time, we were picked up by the tour bus, then, we were drove to pick up a family of 4 people. But, the worst was we had to wait inside the tour bus for another half an hour for only 4 people who went to the horse show. When we arrive Cadiz, the tour guide took us for a very short walking tour, then drop us off at a market which almost every stalks were closed except a few spots for very quick late lunches. She never mentioned the famous beach (Castillo De San Sebastian) is close by, she never gave us appropriate time to see Cadiz. The free time after lunch was too short. The group return time at the gathering point was again another 30 minutes earlier than we had to walk to the tour bus picked up point to wait for the bus. Cadiz is not that far from Seville, but my whole day was wasted by waiting here ... waiting there. I am a world traveler, I had been on day trips a lot in different cities including Spain, this was the worst one I had ever been. If I could I would like to ask for refund, This tour wasted my valuable time in Spain, I could just spent more time in Seville or take the train to Cadiz myself with much better experience.

Jerez was interesting in the bodego but only a very short walking tour of the town. Once in Cadiz wecwere walked aroind fir about 15 minutes then the rrst of the tome was free, lunch etc. Had expecred a proper educational tour, so disappponted

We had a great experience on this tour. The sherry tasting was very well put together. It was a boutique winery that makes only 4 types of jerez, but their presentation was really informative and we enjoyed talking to other tour participants during the tasting. The tour company did a great job securing this place for our tour. Then, I can't say enough about our tourguide Ines. She was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell she really loves Andalucia and her job. I was super impressed at the number of languages she speaks. She was easy to understand and very enthusiastic. We had a great time - I would strongly recommend this tour!

Miguel, the tour person, was unbelievable. The knowledge he had of the area was outstanding, he was kind, friendly, and he did not rush us at all. The problem, we had. was with the tour company. Naturanda turismo . From the beginning when we signed up, we asked them if we could be picked up in front of our air b and b. The response was no problem. You have a private tour. The night before the tour at 8 PM. They text me to inform me. They changed the pickup point to Hotel Becquer. With no explanation of the change. I will not use this company again. And I will never recommend them to anyone.

Day trip to Cadiz and Jerez with guide Serjio

Chose as it was two trips in one we went on a Sunday morning, which was possibly a good day because there was less people about. We had a small coach to transport as a small group. Although August the weather was naturally extremely hot but the coach journey was very pleasant and our guide walked us at our pace. We saw far more than we expected historically in Jerez and in Cadiz from a very well informed guide. Sergio, was knowledgeable and attentive. Our wine tasting trip was most enjoyable at a small family ran winery. We spent longer than the normal weekend city break in Seville to enable us to do this day trip as well. My only regret is that we didn’t book it soon enough so we could perhaps add on the horse dancing dressage excursion with it.

The day didn’t line up with the itinerary, there was a very long stop, early in the day for the sherry tasting. A big bus and everything given in two languages at the sherry tasting meant a lot of waiting around. It was out of town so you couldn’t wander around. If the sherry tasting was more like a half hour stop instead of over an hour then we may have had more free time in Jerez. There was pretty much no free time in Jerez. The first real opportunity you had to eat was in Cadiz (after 1:30pm) so have a big breakfast or bring something to snack on. Cadiz we had a lot of free time as we chose not to meet up with the group for the walking tour.

Great day out very interesting visiting Jerez sherry tasting then walking tour of Jerez then lunch and walking tour of Cadiz. Bodega stop could’ve been shortened as too long and instead a coffee stop in Jerez Plaza to enjoy the ambiance in Jerez. As it’s a long wait until Lunch at 2pm in Cadiz for UK visitors used to eating earlier. Also I suggest a cafe stop after the walk in Cadiz for toilets rather than at the beach as only one toilet open. But it was a great day out

Not worth visiting and not well delivered

To sum up: This day trip was not well organized, places are not worth of your time, and the guide was inattentive. 1. Cadiz’s unfinished cathedral and small plaza were mediocre to say the best, and the town looks distressed; Jerez has little to see as well, I would have stayed in Seville or gone to different towns had I been able to choose again; 2. The guide, Juan Ramon, seems to be a nice guide but unfortunately speaks English that is hard to understand. This is supposed to be an English tour, but since the rest of the group speak Spanish, communication or explanations were predominately in Spanish and very briefly translated into English, which really hindered the experience.

Disappointing Jerez/Cadiz trip from Seville

I enjoyed visiting Cadiz which was my reason for booking. My main criticism is not being able to understand the English language guide, Carlos. Other native English speakers shared the same frustration, at times we didn’t know if he was speaking English or Spanish. I’m sure he is very knowledgeable but unless he can effectively communicate, it’s worthless. Many sentences seemed to contain the words ‘for example’ but most of the rest was indecipherable - I also did not appreciate our being constantly referred to as ‘guys’.

Excellent trip! Our guide, Carlos Leon, was very knowledgable and did a great job guiding our experience in both Spanish and English. We enjoyed learning about the making of Sherri and tasting it as well as learning more about the history of Jerez. The historic city of Cadiz was fun and a great place to explore. I would recommend this trip!

A great way to see a lot when you have a limited amount of time and are not driving. The guide Jose Luis/Pepe was very knowledgeable and informative and entertaining and made the day special for us. Finding the meeting points was easy and we had enough free time to get coffee and lunch. We saw lots and learned lots.

There's no reason to go on this expensive trip. Neither place has much to offer. We couldn't go in the churches and apparently they were too boring anyway. There was no ambiance to either town.

José Luis was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and it was clear he enjoys living in this part of the world. Cadiz is a beautiful coastal city with a rich history. Our tour was a bus with about 40 peoople the ride was comfortable and air-conditioned. We walked a good bit in Cadiz but it was manageable.
