Long fun day filled with a 3 hour bus ride from Sevilla to Granada and a tour of Granada, the Alhambra and the Palaces. One tour guide accompanied us on the bus and provided commentary about the area as well as conducted a walking tour of Granada. The other guide provided a comprehensive tour of the various palaces and gardens. Unfortunately, there was very little free time to spend in Granada; however, based on what I saw, I would definitely be interested at returning there in the future.

Great day saw the palace we were brought to a local beauty spot to get great pictures outside of the palace the tour guide was very good and share lots of history and knowledge enchancing the experience.

It is a very long day but worth the time commitment. Granada is a beautiful city and the Alhambra and associated palace are true treasures. The tour is well organized and the local guide was exceptional.

Great trip. If you are thinking of visiting Alhambra from Seville, book this trip. Our bus guide was Petra, who was full of energy. She explained landmarks along the way on the bus. We stopped at a clean rest stop on the way there and back. Antonio was our guide at the Alhambra. He was great! I read some reviews about smoking on the bus. There was no one smoking on our bus. Also, they forgot to tell us to bring our own ear pieces for the audio guides, so I ended up purchasing some when we got to Alhambra (one euro each).

This was a great day trip. Everything was wonderful, and we had had a nice guide and driver. However, the description should note you’ll have free time to eat or shop in Granada. There’s no itenerary or email communications beforehand. People should know what the day consists of before booking, especially for a non-refundable activity.

Long day, but we enjoyed the tour of Alhambra with our guide Juan and with Manuela through the Albaicín district of Granada. My only complaint is that in our small group of 15, we had 4 different languages and only one guide (who was amazing). So every time we got to a stop, he had to say the same thing translated 4 times, which did drag things out a bit longer than necessary.

The sound system in the van was poor. Difficult to hear the guide as there was static and low volume. Also this tour was in both English and Spanish - which wasn't clear on the trip description.

Great experience! It’s a long day so be prepared! 3 hour bus ride (with restroom stop mid way) I took my daughter’s iPad to keep her busy on the bus and was able to leave it in the bus. Also took her sweater for the AC bus ride. We walked up cobbled streets so wear comfortable shoes. Left at 10am arrived in Granada at 1pm ish. Walked the town from 1:30-2:30. Had lunch until about 4:00 pm and started the Alhambra tour at about 4:30 pm. Our tour ended at 7:00 pm and then we headed back on the bus. Arrived back at our hotel around 10:00 pm. It was very well organized. I couldn’t have done it on my own.

This is NOT IS NOT A NON SMOKING BUS. Be a ware people will smoke. The A/C does not work it was always hot on the bus.

Incredible tour with one regret. The trip to Alhambra was a bucket list type of event. Very beautiful and our tour guide, Manuela, was very friendly and knowledgeable. My regret is that I booked the trip stating in Sevilla which made it a very long day (13 hours) with 6+ hours on the bus to/from Granada. Learned that I could have taken the tour from Malaga that would have saved 3+ hours. I would recommend that as better option.

Our tour got off to a later start because of morning traffic, which meant that we didn’t arrive back home until after 10 PM. We also did not get to stop halfway between Granada and Seville for a bathroom break, because we were running so late. Overall, the tour was well run, but it was a very long day. The tour guide at the Alhambra was very knowledgeable, but the English speakers in our group had a hard time understanding her. It would have been better to tell us a little less and take more pauses between explanations. The guides did the very best, but the delays made for a very long day overall.

This was not a “wheelchair accessible” trip. My partner and I have mobility issues and use crutches and brace to walk. When making reservation, I unformed Co. if these and was assured it would be accessible. Steps throughout the day; we had to miss many of the sites.

Alhambra is so worth a visit! Our tour was a day trip with Antonio from Seville. The van was very comfortable, and he gave us a lot of information during the drive. Something that isn’t mentioned in the description is you’ll stop for a snack/bathroom break on the way, then you’ll have a lunch break in Granada. Take Antonio’s suggestions. We had the best tapas of our entire trip at one of his favorite restaurants!
I don’t remember our Alhambra tour guide’s name, but Antonio mentioned a guest had complained about her English because she was hard to understand. He said she had perfect English, so we weren’t concerned. However, I have to agree with the previous guest. While her English WAS perfect, she has a heavy Spanish accent that made understanding her extremely difficult. Other guests on our tour said the same thing. I think she got annoyed because I asked her to repeat things several times, which was frustrating. My husband finally gave up and turned off his headset.
While we enjoyed seeing Alhambra, given a choice we would ask for a different guide.
Alhambra was in my bucket list, so I’m still happy we went. I just wish we had been able to eat more out of the explanation.

We love our visit to the Alhambra. Bucket list ticked. The tour guide provided by Andalsur Excursions was awesome. Super knowledgeable.
We booked this tour through Naturanda but was disappointed with delays and logistic issues. The guide they said would meet us up in alhambra was a no show but thankfully we got to join Andalsur tour group and had a great visit of the two palaces and gardens.
Definitely Alhambra is a must see but would recommend booking through Andalsur Excursions directly

After lunch, the group gathered around 2:20pm. Then tour guide Jose just lead the group wander around the streets rather than going into the palaces immediately. His explanation was that the tickets were time specific. We had to waste time just to wander around until about 3:30pm when a second tour guide lead the groups into the palaces. The tour inside the palaces was wonderful, but no free time at all besides photo time and toilet time, because the palaces would close at 6pm. Both tour guides did their jobs well. But, why can’t the tickets be booked for an earlier time spot? It would be a much more enjoyable tour if we had some free time to explore on our own.

Usually we avoid larger group tours, but this one was great. Our guide was engaging on the long drive. He gave a lot of great knowledge on the area with a strong focus on the different cultures that have made the region what it is. We were then given a different guide for Alhambra who was also fantastic with lots of humor.

The local guide, Anna, for the Alhambra portion of the tour was very acknowledgeable about the history of the palace. Our guide, Catherine, and the driver also did a great job throughout the tour.

The trip should have been canceled due to weather forecasts of severe storms and possibility of life threatening flash floods in Granada. We were lucky that we were able to bypass a flooded out road (rapids in road) and return safely. The morning of the trip, concerned passengers were reassured that the weather would be safe. The palace was beautiful, but we were in a downpour all day, which truly decreased the experience. The company had our money in advance and we trusted them to make the correct call. I’m not kidding when I say that our minibus was lucky to escape. A few days earlier, over 200 people were killed in Valencia, not far from Grenada. On the return trip an announcement was made that we were unlikely to return to Seville that night, which fortunately we were able to do. I would have to conclude that Viatour placed profit over safety in this case. The weather warnings were indeed accurate. Shame on them!

The trip to Grenada was amazing. Our driver Luca was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was outstanding when it came to answering questions. Isabel was our guide for Alahambra… which is a must when visiting Spain. She was an amazing person and guide. Remember to take your actual passport on the trip!

This was the absolute worst tour I’ve been on. There were SO many discrepancies in the description compared to what actually happened.
The description said “free time in Granada - 3 hours” (see screenshot). This was not correct, as the tour guide said there’s no time, and we missed out on exploring Granada due to this. We only allotted one day for Granada on our trip, and we expected to have 3 hours to explore.
We were not told that the guide would be explaining everything in English and Spanish. This doubled our time at every attraction. The speaker was disinterested and would speak 2 sentences in English, then Spanish, then continue the story in English and it was hard to keep up.
The ear pieces were playing a lot of static and loud noises so we could barely understand the tour guide. We did not really learn anything.
We paid $300 for a wasted day in Granada, and the Alhambra experience was unfortunately it was not close to what was described. We will be contacting the tour Company for a full refund.

The 2 guides and driver were great. Can't complain about anything. Driss was with us all the way to AlHambra where were handed over to the capable Juan. Lola the driver did her job impecaably. This was dth best tour we did in all of Andalusia !

The palaces were great even though there were lots of people there. We had a flat tire on the way to Granada but the guide Mercedes did a great job and help soon arrived and we still made it to everything as well.

Ester was the most amazing guide!! She led the entire tour of Granada.
Emilio and the driver were very nice and made the travel to and from Granada comfortable and informative.
Viator needs to do a better job of letting guests know when passports are required for the trip!!!! 3 sets of guests-including me- had to run back to our hotels to retrieve them and race to not miss the bus.
