Some great aspects of this trip but also some areas that disappointed. A very large group which was trying to accommodate for a mix of languages which meant that the guide was constantly talking and hard to keep up.
First couple of stops we enjoyed which included admission as well as the drive through the lava fields. The bits that let this tour down was the optional lunch stop which you had to pay for but if you didn’t want this, there were no other options as it was in the middle of nowhere. Then the really poor wine tasting non event. End of the tour felt rushed. Some good bits and other aspects that need improving.

Tour of the green cave was okay. The tour guide ruined an amazing photo opportunity by throwing a rock into a perfectly still lake with an amazing reflection of the cave. Then she wouldn’t let anyone take a picture again until the water had settled. So we all just stood there awkwardly waiting for the water to settle. Could have skipped the rock throwing and we all could have used that time to take great pictures instead of being rushed to catch up with the tour.

the caves were interesting, but the long day could have been shortened by omitting the "wine tasting" which was simply a small glass of terrible wine, and no explanations. equally the visit to see the camels ( and pay extra, for a ride), was equally uninteresting.

This was a really good day out where we saw a large part of the island. It was a long day - nearly 10 hours and the wine tasting was a waste of time. We were given no information about how the vines are grown or what sort of wine we were tasting - not that it mattered as it was pretty horrible. Having said that the rest of the tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and also gave us information about living on Lanzarote. The visits to the attractions which were included in the ticket price, were good and especially the coach drive through Timanfaya national park where we were able to take photos from the coach. Overall this was a very good way to see the key volcanic sites and find out about the island.

Everything you would want to see in one tour. Gives you a great overview of the history and geology of the island. Great lunch plentiful and delicious. Really enjoyed the trip.

Great highlights tour. Very professionally organized and run. Some climbing and stairs in caves involved. Would have liked a bit more free time at the stops.

Was a great day out and our guide was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. We particularly enjoyed the first cave visit.
There was some waiting around in the afternoon for those who declined the camel rides, with very little to keep you occupied which is why we rate it 4/5.

It was a long day , we did see loads . The downside the tour guide would not stop talking, a running commentary on everything !! English and Spanish . 3 times I asked her to turn down the volume as it was far too loud !! Ideally a bus with just English speaking people would be ideal , as the commentaries went on and on .

TIPS FOR THE TOUR
Both sides of the bus were beautiful but I recommend sitting on the right side of the bus facing forwards on the second level to see the best views when in the national park. Buffet lunch was pretty solid and food on the island is expensive so all you can eat for 12€ is a great deal and if you eat a lot you won’t be hungry for dinner. The trip originally seemed expensive to me but the entrance fees to the sites (which are included in the tour) added up to much of the cost AND some of the places opened at 9:30 but the tour can enter early at 9 for example which meant we had a way more intimate and less crowded experience at most spots. This is a bus tour so our group was big but at each site it didn’t feel so crowded. I highly recommend this tour to see the island in a day.
Venessa was an amazing guide. Perfect English and Spanish and she’s from the island originally and you can tell she’s proud of where she’s from. Her enthusiasm and kindness made the tour so much better. I hope the company recognizes her for her greatness!

Very worthwhile trip around main natural highlights of the island if you only have a day for exploring. They also timed the trip so we got to see some of the attractions ahead of the main crowds, and a delicious lunch with lovely views which is also worth buying at 12 Euros

I initially thought that the price was a little steep. How wrong I was, this is one of the best value for money tours you’ll find on Viator. You’ll travel around the whole island and discover the beauty of the alien Lanzarote landscape.

Long time in the coach (after last stop 1.5hrs in the bus to arrive to arrecife (capital of lanzarote) due to strange tourplanning. Lunch is a torture, average school canteen is better. "Winetasting" is less than a shotglass of one so lala wine. Tourguide friendly, but just high level Infos shared. Tour was sold as english and spanish, in spanish way more Infos shared. Timanfaya part very nice landscape, but all in all too expensive and not recommended.

Absolutely brilliant.
Our guide was fabulous and so knowledgeable and friendly but no messing with time keeping! Also our driver was amazing and definitely earns his pay😂
Only 4 star though as some elements felt a little rushed such as wine tasting was 20 minutes then back on the coach after 1 tiny splash of wine as in less than 25ml.
That was a shame as someone who has done wine tasting in Napa Valley it was like taking a shot at a cheap bar.
But in saying that the rampaging round was great fun.
We say things and learned things otherwise we would never had an opportunity to see.
So definitely invest the extra and do the trip.

This trip was mainly Spanish, even though the rep was bilingual and shared relevant information about the tour the majority of the time she spoke Spanish, I found when the rep did speak English the Spanish would talk through it making it hard to hear.
The trip itself was great and the sights were amazing.
They offer a buffet style lunch for 12 euros definitely worth the money

Very productive tour I will recommend to the first time visitors for general exploration. The coach driver Manolo was great drive with cautious.
Vanessa was responsible she should be very exhausted she had to speak Spanish and English. However I still prefer someone speaks good English when she spoke English still sounds Spanish so a little bit difficult to understand or hear but she did good job though

Great trip round the island - caves are not for the faint hearted it's a long trek down some very narrow steps. Lunch was fine for €12 each - great way to see Lanzarote history & especially Timanfaya national park was fab 👌 The only issue was when booking I thought we were getting picked up outside our accommodation however it was nearest pick up point which was bus stop up a very, very steep hill. Both driver & guide were great but long day from 8am till 5pm

Very well organised tour with great communication. It was amazing how many sites were included and it gave a good flavour of the different parts of Lanzarote. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the driver's skills of managing the tight roads of the National Park was astounding. Highly recommended. You spend a lot of time on the coach but you see a lot!! In comfort.

Really enjoyed it. Nice visits easy for kids of all ages would have liked to have walked to a volcano crater though. Tour guide was very nice, organised and spoke good English. I would have liked even more information about the places we were passing but that’s just me. I doubt you’ll get much better.
