So! Much! Fun!
This class was so much fun! Park is an excellent instructor and a great communicator. His English is perfect, he gave clear directions for the preparation of each dish we made, he was well organized and he was always available to lend a hand if it was needed. The dishes we prepared were delicious and the atmosphere of the hanok is quaint and beautiful. You can tell that it was lovingly restored. Our group enjoyed one another’s company and the evening was filled with laughter and yummy food! I highly recommend this experience - it was the perfect way to spend the evening!

Fun and joyful
The host and assistant were as much fun as was the cooking. And fun!
We made several dishes, during which time the group received easily-to-follow instructions, we were also given a lesson in Korean culture as relates to family and food traditions.
When we come back, we’ll attend again.

Would recommend, great experience
We booked an airport transfer from Incheon Airport to Seoul and had a really smooth experience from start to finish. The driver was easy to find upon arrival, communication beforehand and on the day was clear and helpful, and the whole journey felt comfortable and stress free. It was such a convenient way to start our trip, especially after a long flight.

Exceptional Korean Cultural Experience
I booked this cooking experience as part of my spouse’s birthday trip to Korea as she thoroughly enjoys Korean cuisine. This was an absolutely phenomenal experience from walking through the Mangwon market to flipping a traditional Korean pancake. My spouse and I agreed this is by far the best cooking class we’ve attended!!

Book it!
If you want to taste Seoul, then book this tour. Kevin was amazing - he shared so much Korean knowledge with the group while making this tour fun and exciting. Every dish we sampled was authentic and delicious. I left the tour full and satisfied. I would highly recommend this tour - especially if you get Kevin as a guide!

This was a phenomenal...
This was a phenomenal experience. I’m very comfortable in the kitchen and felt that the program was a good mix between instruction and skill-building. Everything was so delicious and Jiny is an excellent teacher. One piece of feedback is that I don’t think the tour afterward is necessary.

Fun cooking class!
I loved this class! I would definitely recommend. The market was such a nice experience and you get to see all the ingredients that will be used during the class. We were able to buy snacks and drinks before the class which was nice. At the end, we got to take our kimchi home and recipe book. Jomin was amazing and ended the class letting us try our kimchi and cook some yummy sides for us.

Seoul by Night, a Delight.
Mr Kim is an excellent leader and guide. He took us to several locations (lookouts, fortress, etc) by routes and accesses where “Tour Buses cannot go” thus providing for uncrowded experiences. His choice for dining was a perfect venue, well patronized by local residents that told us it was authentic and good quality. We strongly recommend him.

Skip the daytime crowds—Sheen is the guide you want!
I was initially reluctant about a night tour, but seeing the palaces and temples illuminated with fewer crowds adds an ambiance you simply can't capture during the day. Our guide, Sheen, provided an experience that went far beyond the standard "dates and names" script.
The Highlights:
Changgyeonggung Palace: Sheen’s knowledge of the intersection between Shamanism, Confucianism, and Buddhism was incredible. He pointed out subtle artistic details and shared the "darker" history of the palace that still resonates in the Korean mindset today—things an untrained eye would completely overlook.
Jogyesa Temple: Having visited during the day, I can confirm it is even better at night. Sheen clearly articulated the unique evolution of Korean Buddhism compared to SE Asia. I finally understood why there are three Buddhas in the main hall, and why , most locals actually pray to the Buddhas on the left and right. It was eye-opening to see how these ancient figures are tied to modern, everyday wishes—like parents praying for their children’s success on the grueling Korean SATs.
Kwangjang Market: A seamless experience. It felt like a Korean version of a classic American diner, buzzing with energy.
The X-Factor: Sheen’s hospitality is unmatched. At the end of the tour, he personally escorted me to my bus stop. Since I only had large bills (which the bus doesn't take), he actually gave me the 1,000 KRW out of his own pocket to ensure I got home safely. He also made sure every single person had a safe, efficient route home. Truly a class act!

Wonderful class!!
The experience was wonderful. It was very easy to find the class and easy to book. I appreciated that the class was not canceled because I was the only one there. I felt special I got a 1:1 experience! I am a solo traveler so it can be scary sometimes to do these types of things. But I felt safe and happy I learned a lot about traditional foods and feel good about being able to make this again when I get home.

This was a great...
This was a great introduction into Korean cooking! Jomin lead us through a Seoul street market where we picked fresh ingredients then went back to her studio where we cooked three delicious foods. She's definitely a strict chef, but in a good way that made the class fun and exciting. She was also extremely accommodating to anyone's food allergies and preferences. If you're looking for a cooking class in Seoul, I would highly recommend this one!

Really enjoyed the food...
Really enjoyed the food and drink tour. Went at a great pace. Tried loads of different foods, which were all great, and also introduced to some new drinks. Similar price to tours that last less than half the time and has made me.a lot more.confidemt to take on the traditional Korean food.for.the rest of.my trip. Definitely recommend.
