What are people saying about Seoul

Had a phenomenal time in...
Had a phenomenal time in this class! Everything was chopped and ready so you can focus on the explanation of ingredients and cooking . I learned a lot and would take the class again if different recipes were available. The tour of back alleys was a bonus.

Easy and Comfortable Ride from ICN to Seoul
Easy and comfortable ride from ICN airport to my hotel in Seoul. Also very flexible - my original flight was cancelled and I was booked on a subsequent flight that arrived 14 hours later than originally planned. It was easy to coordinate the changes via WhatsApp.

Highly recommendable activity that should not be left out on a visit to Seoul!
Our instructor Sally and her colleague were very welcoming, kind, open and perfectly organized. The atmosphere within our small group of five participants was cheerful and warm hearted. Strangers got to get fellows in doing, practicing and dining together. Great thanks and any time again.
Another time I would love to add an extra hour maybe to learn how to prepare a Korean dessert, as well.

This tour was great...
This tour was great because it combined historical sites with tasting the traditional food. Our guide (Landy) was friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about her guests. She told us about the history of Korean kings when we visited the castle and made sure everyone tasted the food they wanted to taste at the market. It was fun to see the night market and the transfer with car between sites was very helpful.

Our tour guide Jacob was...
Our tour guide Jacob was fantastic! He was energetic about sharing the best street food in the area, and really built a sense of camaraderie with the group from the drinking games to the ice breakers.
I wouls highly recommend this your for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the Korean street food scene! There were plenty of dishes, and you definitely won't leave hungry!

Loved the class
Everytime I travel to different countries I always take a cooking class. I loved this class. We made some really good chicken, some sauce to go with it and tteokbokki as well. Her studio was nice and cute and she explains everything so well. She was so nice too.

Awesome Cooking Class
Our tour guide/teacher was very friendly and personable. She met me with a smile and was very knowledgeable about Korean customs and food culture. We made several delicious dishes and ate what we made together. It was very enjoyable and I would recommend this tour to a friend.

Four kinds of kimchi and a whole new skill set!
What a fantastic hands-on experience! The class started with a guided tour of Mangwon Market, where we saw the key kimchi ingredients up close — napa cabbage, chili peppers, fish sauce — which made the cooking that followed feel so much more meaningful.
Then we rolled up our sleeves and made not one but FOUR types of kimchi: traditional napa cabbage kimchi (I learned the cabbage needs at least 10 hours of brining!), fresh kimchi, daikon kimchi sweetened with Asian pear, and cucumber kimchi. My favorite part was hand-stuffing the spicy chili paste between every single cabbage leaf — you quickly understand why kimchi-making is such a labor of love in Korean families.
The instruction was clear and the pace was perfect for beginners. I left with a real understanding of the fermentation process and the confidence to make kimchi at home. If you want to go beyond just eating Korean food and learn one of its cornerstone traditions, this class is a must!

We took Chef Park's...
We took Chef Park's cooking class in a beautiful 100-year-old hanok and left with full stomachs and a genuinely great evening behind us.
Chef Park is an excellent instructor — funny, knowledgeable, and great at explaining not just the how but the why behind each dish. We made five things: tangpyeongchae (mung bean jelly with pork and vegetables), haemul pajeon, galbi short ribs, fresh kimchi, and Korean potato salad. It's an ambitious menu for one class, but the pacing worked well and everything came out delicious.
The setting alone is worth mentioning — eating the meal you just made in a century-old hanok is a nice touch that elevates it beyond a typical cooking class.
He also pointed us toward a great fried chicken spot afterward, which turned out to some of the best fried chicken we have ever had!
I would recommend this class to any one who is interested in food and cooking.

An Unforgettable Night Tour of Seoul with Kim
My family and I loved this private tour with Kim.
All the views of Seoul this night tour provided were second to none. Going up to the tower was awesome. Naksan Park at night is a game changer when it comes to great views of Seoul at night. The Kwangjang Market is historic along with the foods/snacks. Kim’s attention to detail on this tour was terrific as he explained and showed us how a traditional Korean BBQ is done. Kim educated my family and I on this tour and we are truly grateful to him. Thank you Kim for a job well done!

A must do food tour in Seoul!
Wish we had done this tour when we arrived in Seoul, but maybe, if we had, we wouldn’t have appreciated how special it was. We’ve been in South Korea for two weeks, eating a lot of food, but Mike introduced us to things we had not yet eaten and wonderfull versions of things we already had. The tour is so well paced with food and drinks. It makes it really enjoyable. On other food tours we find often you are given quick, successive foods that fill you up and it lessens your enjoyment of the experience. Mike’s knowledge of all things Korea, is incredible. We enjoyed hearing about the history and making of the alcohol that we drank and it was fabulous that we got taste so many different varieties. We had the most wonderful group which enhance the whole evening. Now I know why this tour is so well rated.. I would definitely recommend this tour to people that really want to explore Korean food and alcohol! We give it at a big, thumbs up!

Hands on experience!
This was a great time. Easy meetup outside the subway. We got a guided tour through the market (which was much less crowded with tourists than the Gwangjang market in Jongno I’d been to) and a bit of time to explore on our own. Then we went to the cooking school where each participant had their own cooking station. Everything was really well-planned and the food itself was truly delicious! Impossible to know ahead how a group is going to be, but ours was really fun. Great people to hang out with and enjoy the evening.
