What a fun activity and i learned so much cooking with Elly. She was very clear in her demonstration and explanation of making gimbap. Her tips on making the other dishes were very helpful and i feel confident that i can replicate these dishes when i go home. Her helper Grace was helpful and encouraging too. The menu we had was well chosen from gimbap, 3 kinds of jeon , bibimbap, jap chae, and bulgogi. Also we were offered water, tea, sujeonggwa (so refreshing) during the session.
I highly recommend this class to others.

Our instructor Sally and her colleague were very welcoming, kind, open and perfectly organized. The atmosphere within our small group of five participants was cheerful and warm hearted. Strangers got to get fellows in doing, practicing and dining together. Great thanks and any time again.
Another time I would love to add an extra hour maybe to learn how to prepare a Korean dessert, as well.

I loved this experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Korea. We learned to cook authentic Korean dishes and our Chef taught us about the history and made it easy to follow along. It was hard to find at first but once we were advised to look up we found it. Really good experience overall especially for a rainy morning in Seoul.

This class exceeded all my expectations. I turned out to be the only attendee for the Sunday morning session, and instead of canceling, they ran it as a private one-on-one lesson — what a treat!
Sharon, the instructor, was personable, patient, and explained every step clearly. She's worked in fine dining restaurants, so you're truly learning from a professional. We made an incredible SEVEN courses: Korean-style gimbap (with sesame oil rice instead of vinegar), crispy kimchi pancake, zucchini and meat pancakes, bibimbap, bulgogi (with a great tip on using sugar for caramelizing), japchae, and a dessert of vanilla ice cream with fried rice cake stuffed with sweet red bean.
The portions were so generous I got three full meals out of everything we made. More importantly, I left with the skills and confidence to do serious Korean home cooking on my own. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to go beyond restaurant Korean food and actually learn the craft!

Fun afternoon taking a Korean cooking class at Seoul Cooking Club! Seven courses in 2.5 hours. Family style meal with group at the end, with takeout boxes to take leftovers home, too. Delicious dessert made by our chef/teacher, Sharon. Class catered to dietary needs, ingredients were prepped, and dishes, tools, and techniques explained with great care. A tote bag and cookbook were included, too. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Seoul! ♥️🇰🇷👩🍳

One of the cooking classes I have attended amongst various countries and cities. Excellent set up and selection. We had with us 2 boys - ages 14 and 8 and my mom who is 72 years. We all had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Olivia was amazing. This is one of my favorite things I did in Seoul. We made 7 different dishes and had so much food leftover it was my lunch and dinner! Some of the best food I had on my trip as well. The school is so organized and clean. I would absolutely go back and 10/10 recommend.

Absolutely great cooking class. I’ve done cooking classes in Tokyo, Singapore, and Paris and this was by far my favorite. It was so efficient. All the ingredients are pre organized. Each person makes their own dishes so it is very hands on for everyone. We made SO many dishes in a short amount of time — and it was a great variety of food.
Sally was an amazing instructor— fun, friendly and supportive. When we arrived we were immediately served some yummy iced tea. Then we were quickly shown to our cooking stations. We also had a bottle of water waiting for us there. We started off making some kimchi pancakes and ate those fresh out of the pan. Then we made a variety of other foods. Once done with all the cooking, we sat down to eat all of our food — which was more than we could possibly finish. They had to-go containers if you wanted to take the rest with you. They gave everyone a booklet with the recipes and a little tote bag — which we used to carry home our leftovers.
If you have any interest in food this is a fun way to explore what goes into Korean cooking.

We were taught to cook 7 dishes in total. Our teacher was incredibly friendly and did a great job explaining everything. She was great at monitoring our progress and giving tips. They were also very accommodating for dietary restrictions. The location was convenient and the kitchen was very nice.

A wonderful experience! Sharon and her team explained, demonstrated, then assisted us on cooking a number of delicious Korean dishes. She added interesting cultural and historical facts too. Very professional kitchen and excellent tutor whose English was perfect. Everything was superbly prepared for our group - there were 7 people from different backgrounds. We all had a work station with all of the ingredients needed and we were taught to make 7 dishes which we then ate! Also got a cookbook with all of the recipes in it to take away. I would highly recommend this as an introduction to Korean cooking and culture.

This was one of the best parts of our trip to Korea. Being vegetarian and gluten free, it was hard getting to try all the authentic Korea food in the streets. The lovely crew were super lovely and accommodating to my dietary needs and I was able to make all 7 dishes no issue. Super grateful for their hospitality <3

The host and assistant were as much fun as was the cooking. And fun!
We made several dishes, during which time the group received easily-to-follow instructions, we were also given a lesson in Korean culture as relates to family and food traditions.
