The hands-on class will take you through the fundamentals of brewing makgeolli, from washing rice to the filtering process. Our brewery and bottle shop is located on the 2nd floor. On the first floor you will see a sushi restaurant and there is a hanbok rental shop on the third floor. When you see the hanbok at the front of the building, come up to the 2nd floor!

Making makgeolli is fun!

Had a wonderful time with Omar, learning how to make makgeolli and then putting it into practice. He was a great instructor and took his time answering questions and giving us a great insight into makgeolli, how it’s made, and its importance in Korean culture. Highly recommended!
