The soju tasting was a great experience thanks to Sam! Our family felt Sam's English was very easy to understand. It was clear he was very knowledgeable on the history of soju and is heavily involved in the brewing process at this location. We appreciated the wide variety of tastes varying in alcohol strength. Another positive is that you're able to buy bottles of soju to take with at the end if you'd like, but there wasn't any sales pressure. Highly recommend Sam and this soju tasting while visiting Seoul!

The soju tasting was a great experience thanks to Sam! Our family felt Sam's English was very easy to understand. It was clear he was very knowledgeable on the history of soju and is heavily involved in the brewing process at this location. We appreciated the wide variety of tastes varying in alcohol strength. Another positive is that you're able to buy bottles of soju to take with at the end if you'd like, but there wasn't any sales pressure. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Getting to know how Soju is made and it's history and then trying to many different types. The host was very patient. He answered everyone's questions diligently. It felt like a bunch of friends conversing about Soju.

Really cool experience with delicious drinks and interesting facts about soju and surrounding traditions. Sam was a very welcoming, funny and knowledgeable host. Worth it even if you're not already a massive fan of soju!

This was such a fun activity to do! Sam is a fantastic host and explain the Soju process very well. We loved hearing about the historical context as well. The best part was the conversation that flowed between our group and Sam as we enjoyed our Soju tasting. He was happy to talk to us about South Korean culture and answer any questions we had. To top it off Sam even gave us a detailed list of recommendations for dinner afterwards. Canât say enough great things about this experience! So memorable.

Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Soju making process. We got to see in progress fermentation and the final product was exceptional. The Soju was much higher proof than the green bottles you find around Seoul but Sam's method is the traditional way. We pickep up a bottle of the Mandirin flavor, it was phenomenal. We'll be going back in a few years to taste the newly started aged Soju.

My friends and I had a GREAT time learning about the history and processing of soju. We enjoyed walking around the distillery and learning about how it all gets made, but more importantly, we really enjoyed our host. He was extremely knowledgeable, hilarious, and gave us restaurant recommendations after. I would definitely recommend this experience to a friend (especially those who enjoy the "green bottle" soju [which we learned is not real soju])

Awesome experience, but I feel like I did not get the most of it as a solo tourist. I was mostly ignored by other travelers and some americans was really rude to me.

My partner and I did a Soju tasting with Sam. It was relaxed and very fun. The tasting explored a little bit of Korean history as well as soju making and we were able to try quite a few different varieties. By the end of the session, we learned a ton, had new soju favorites, and found a few new friends.

Wonderful experience of Soju tasting in Seul! Sam was a warm and welcoming host, he explained the whole process telling also some interesting and fun facts. We had the chance to visit the distillery and taste several different Soju flavours. Highly recommended...Remember to eat something before the tasting, there will be a lot!

The experience was fantastic, and Sam's hospitality was exceptional. We not only got to sample alcohol with varying degrees of strength (some of which made me feel both tipsy and delighted!), but we also gained insights into the culture surrounding soju and its production process, including how yakju and takju are produced before soju. Sam was an excellent guide who provided us with valuable tips on treatments and places to visit in Seoul, which was incredibly beneficial. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Seoul!
