Walking tour worth the walk and price

This walking tour was great. The tour guide was very patient and knowledgable. He gave us a lot of history and answered all our questions. I would do it again, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

We got started off on a bad note. We couldn’t find our tour guide. We were told to be at one place and she was at another place. We didn’t receive the updated email saying that the location had changed. We tried calling the number on the email but nobody answered, fortunately she called us and found us. Once we started the tour it went well. She was soft spoken so a headset would probably have made the tour better. She was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed the tour.

fascinating walking tour

The tour guide met us at the right time and the right place. Our first stop was the Spanish Steps and our tour guide was a wealth of information about why there were Spanish steps in Italy. She then took us on a walking tour and we learned about the history of Rome from ancient times up to the present. The Trevi Fountain was not as crowded as expected so we were able to get up close. The tour guide made a point of offering to take our picture at each stop, including right in front of the fountain. We walked some more, punctuated with a stop at an ancient Roman fountain where we could refill our water bottles with clean water from local springs. The Pantheon was our next big attraction. When we approached the area, we were dismayed to see long lines of people waiting to get in. Our tour guide ushered us through the crowd to the front of the line. She showed the guard something on her phone and he waved us on in. Magic! Skip-the-line tickets were never more appreciated. Our walking tour ended with our guide showing us the closest taxi stand so we could return to our hotel.

Wonderful tour of a few Rome treasures.

Rhianna is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and accommodating guide. Her wealth of knowledge on all things Rome was a delight to hear. I am very glad to have her as our guide. Having an art historian with such passion for her subject was amazing. And the Pantheon - why did I wait so long to see it?! Thank you, Rhianna, for your flexibility with start times and the pace of the tour.

Great Way to Start Your Stay in London one or Anytime in Rome!

Amazing private tour with a very knowledgeable guide. It was very hot but our guide kept going and was very energetic as though the heat was unimportant. She did give us several opportunities to drink from the many natural fountains around the city. And was very good about reminding and warning us of the pick pockets in key areas. Great tour to start your trip in Rome. The tour guide gave us a great lay of the land and was very happy to give us all the general information needed in order to see the highlights of City Center Rome.
