Jodie! Jodie! Jodie! She was an AMAZING tour guide. Right off the bat leaving the gates can be overwhelming, but after telling the locals the name of the tour they directed me to my guide, Jodie. It was a very personalized tour as it was just me, my husband, my daughter, and Jodie. First she took us to the gas station to get some water. As we traveled to the petting zoo, she described everything we passed and answeeed our questions. As a native to Roatan, there was not a question Jodie could not answer. She watched our bags as we went through the petting zoo and dropped us off for the snorkeling. People traveling with kids, the snorkeling is a drop and float, so you start in one location and the boat picks you up at another. We weren’t thinking and thought we could take turns snorkeling and watching our daughter on the boat. We ended up having to take turns snorkeling and holding her in the water. That being said the snorkeling is not deep, so I was able to more sea creatures than I ever had in the crystal clear water. Beautiful snorkeling! Once picked up from snorkeling we are dropped off on a beach where Jodie met us again. The beach was private with a restaurant and bar. We had about 2 more hours to enjoy ourselves before we took her car back. On the way back she stopped at a souvenir shop per our request and asked was willing to add any other stops to the trip. Overall Roatan was our favorite stop on the cruise, so many things to do so close to port, beautiful water, and the best tour guide we could have asked for!!!

Loved the sloths

We were scheduled to port earlier and we found out we wouldn’t be docking until 1pm. I texted Michelle, I believe that was her name, and she already knew about the delay and time change and eased my mind on them still being there to wait on us. Due to the delay, we decided (us as a family) to just do the sloth and monkey stop and not the beach and they were very accommodating with us. I will say they did give directions on finding our meeting spot when we got off the boat and you have to walk through many people try to sell their tours but the moment I asked for directions or said what tour we booked EVERYONE was so friendly and showed us the way to go one gentleman even helped is cross the busy street. You have to go out of the port area to meet but there was a man with a sign for MJ tours so we knew who to go with. The only part I didn’t love was we had to walk about 5 minutes to get to his parked van. The walk was hot and in a not great area. But again nothing they could help just parking availability. We were the only one in the van with Roger and he told us about Roatan and said we could ask any questions. It was about 15-20 minutes to the sanctuary and our guide was very nice and we LOVED the sloths! Once done, Roger was waiting for us took us right back to the port and stopped to take a picture at the Roatan sign. It was a great experience.

Fell in love with Roatan!

Best excursion of our trip! Our tour guide Phoebe was absolutely amazing! She was a wealth of knowledge and had us falling in love with Roatan. We're already planning to take a week long trip there. This was by far the best excursion we booked. Our driver was fun and informative about the island! Lots of zip lines and bridges to make it worth your time! They take some great candid shots (for $ at the end $15.00 per person) the animals were so fun and neat to see! My fav was the sloths! You won’t regret this one

Worthwhile Snorkeling Experience

Excellent snorkeling experience in Roatan. Guides took good care of the group, including those who had never snorkeled before. All enjoyed the sites, especially the deep drop-off site. The crew was friendly and helpful and provided interesting information about the area. The beach stop was very crowded and a bit short on time; the food service was so slow we had to leave before receiving ours; they were disorganized, so that part of the excursion didn't meet our expectations. The time spent on the boat and snorkeling, though, made it a worthwhile day. RECOMMENDED.

Wonderful excursion

Our tour guide was just amazing and took such great care of us. We went to the animal sanctuary and got to hang out with a monkeys and the sloths and macaws. It was such a great experience! We got to touch them and it was amazing! We did the snorkeling and it was so beautiful! This is the best experience we’ve had our kids just loved it and the guides on all of them were so helpful with the kids and kind of showing them the way and also the snorkeling guy did amazing with our seven-year-old and he had a great time snorkeling as well and made it a best experience! 10 out of 10

3rd time choosing this excursion

This excursion was like having you own personal guide in Roatan. This was our 3rd time in Roatan and our 3rd time choosing this excursion!! Our guide, Monsor, was so knowledgeable, informative, caring and accommodating. The sanctuary, where we held monkeys and parrots and visited the sloths, was pristine. The staff were wonderful. Monsor made sure we stopped at all of the pictures spots so we could capture our adventure!! The beach was WONDERFUL!! We are returning in November & we will request Monsor for our family vacation!! Thank you for a WONDERFUL day in Roatan!!

We had Jenny for our tour guide and driver and she was absolutely wonderful! Thank you Jenny for all of your help and being so kind to me (Adeline) and my daughter Brooklyn. If there is a way to give her a tip since I didn’t have any cash please let me know. She most definitely deserves it. We went to see the monkeys and sloths first then headed to the beach for a bit then went scuba diving. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

We had a great time going to the sloth and monkey sanctuary, rum factory and chocolate shop. David was extremely knowledgeable and got us around the island easily. He showed us a great local spot for lunch. It was wonderful to get a glimpse into the local history and communities that make up the island. Highly recommended. Will book with them again.
