The best Tour- Tucan Tours
My My cousin and I took a private tour to the Monkey & Sloth Adventure, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Our first stop was the monkey and sloth reserve—such a fun and memorable experience! I even let a monkey and a macaw sit on my shoulders.
What made the day even more special was our tour guide, Diana from Tucan Tours. She was bright, positive, and incredibly engaging. She took us around much of the island and introduced us to a fantastic souvenir shop—New Souvenirs Roatán—where we found great items at very reasonable prices, plus free engraving.
By the end of the tour, we had made Diana an honorary cousin! She was knowledgeable, personable, and truly made our day unforgettable. I highly recommend asking for her if you book with Tucan Tours.

Great private tour experience!
If you’re booking this, be aware that it is a private tour. When you first leave the port gates you’ll see a massive amount of tour guides and taxi drivers. Our tour guide came looking for us and was wearing a blue “Let’s See Roatan” shirt. I won’t lie it seemed a bit sketchy at first but it is private and I think it’s better that way because you have better control over your time spent at each place. When you get to the beach club you don’t have to pay for the day pass ($25/pp) but do have to buy at least 1 drink. You’ll still get access to the beach but just dint have a beach chair.
All in all a great experience getting to visit the animal sanctuary, chocolate factory, rum tasting, and a beach!

Fun, educational, clean and professional.
Norma took great care of me from start to finish—picking me up at the ship, taking me to the beach, and making sure I got back safely. I was a bit disappointed that you can no longer hold the sloths at the sanctuary due to regulations, but it was still really neat to get up close to them. Spending time with the monkeys and macaws was especially fun.
The tour guides at the sanctuary were very professional and polite, which made the experience even better. I was also the first one on the beach, which was a nice bonus. The beach was clean, and the staff there were friendly and courteous.

Great Day
This tour was an excellent way to see a large part of the island and get to experience some of the key highlights. We had a great driver/guide and he took us to some really nice attractions. We enjoyed the visit to AJs sloth and monkey zoo, the boat ride through the mangroves, the stop at the Mayak chocolate factory as well as the Roaton Rum Company.

Won't tour any other way now
We had Fernando as our guide. He was soft spoken and very knowledgeable about the area. We visited the animal sanctuary, chocolate factory, rum factory, did a little shopping, ate lunch, and then road horses along the beach. Fernando did an amazing job getting us where we wanted to be on time. Highly recommend Fernando and using Bodden services for a great adventure.

Roatan Monkey, Sloth, Choc, and Rum
We arrived early. Qubit was ready and waiting for us. He took us up to the monkey/sloth encounter and negotiated a GREAT price for us to zip line as well. Very beautiful place with very friendly staff.
He then gave us a tour of the whole island, including local markets, that we otherwise would not have seen.
Highly recommend!

Michael was our private...
Michael was our private tour driver and was very attentive to anything that we needed. The beach was pretty and clean. Drinks were a bit pricey. Beer was $5.50 and mixed drinks $15.00. We did get a good massage for $45.00. Michael hooked us up with the person that did it and they had massage tables. If you do it through the beach vendors, you will be laying on the sand.

Great day in Roatan
This was a wonderful personalized excursion. From our driver Louis who transported us to and from the excursion and also gave a history of the city, as well as taking us to a great market to shop and local restaurant to have lunch. Our boat captain Bruno and his crew were extremely helpful and engaged with us while snorkeling. They brought snacks like watermelon and homemade local bread to share as well. The snorkeling sights were great and our group greatly enjoyed the entire experience.

Great overall experience!!
Great experience from Vanessa meeting us and picking us up to Wilson, Benny and Gustavo taking us out. We were the only two on the boat and had such personal service. The water and weather was perfect. We saw many fish at all the three sites, the Aquarium, the Blue Channel and Turtle Crossing. Benny lead us around in the water to make sure we saw everything. When we finished Vanessa waited around for a bit while we shopped and had a taco. Great overall experience. Would definitely do this again with this group! Thank you so much!!

David , was excellent . He stayed with us through this whole experience and was very friendly and informative. Would recommend this tour 100% .

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Even those pressed for time will be impressed with Anchorage’s half-day tours. The city makes a fabulous home base for adventure in any direction: To the north, visitors can explore rivers and waterfalls; to the east, mountains and Alaska’s most well-known state park; to the south, wildlife sanctuaries and famous scenic overlooks; to the west, islands, whale-watching, and more. Half-day tours from Anchorage—be it by bus, car, boat, or kayak—are just enough time to sample the city’s greatest wonders, and they are indeed great.
