Amazing experience!...
Amazing experience! Carlos was wonderful; the horses were well behaved. My niece rode Dolly (Muñeca) and I rode...I forget her name. I wore tennis shoes...big mistake, wear Crocs or some water shoes bc ur feet will get wet. Would definitely do this again! Gracías Carlos 🙌🏾☺️

Unforgettable! Do this one!!
This excursion checked all the boxes! Perfect for cruisers. This was our first time to Roatan and man, did it impress! Our guide, Dave, was friendly, knowledgeable, and right on time! He took to a place for horseback riding where Ricardo, our guide, took us for a beautiful stroll along the shore where we got a ton of pics. And then on to West Bay Beach for several hours of fun in the sun! Talk about paradise! We whole heartedly recommend Charlie’s Roatan Tours if you want an unforgettable experience!

We have such a great time!
We had the best experience. Of all the excursions, this was our favorite. Diana was wonderful. We absolutely loved her. Marvin was great and did a great job showing us how to ride the horses. We will definitely book again. Thank you for making our trip so amazing.

Friendliness is their #1 asset!
We began by ziplining then ATV then horseback riding. We had very enthusiastic and experienced guides for all three. They accommodated our change to the afternoon due to weather so we would t miss a water activity which we appreciated very much! We went on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves which was amazing! We’d definitely do it again.

Borry (tour guide) and...
Borry (tour guide) and Jenny (driver) were great! Took roughly a 30 min drive along the coast where borry talked about the area and pointed out new things. We went straight to the monkey and sloth sanctuary where we got to hold some guinea pigs, pet some sloths, hold a macaw, and then be jumped on by some small monkeys. Had a great time with the animals. Then we took a 10 min drive to the horseback riding where we hung out and got a beer for about 10 mins while they got the horses ready. The horses looked a little worn out, but we had no issues riding them. The ride was pretty slow and took about 10 mins to a lagoon area where we walked through some murky water. Then we had about a 10 minute walk back to the stables. The weather was cloudy and windy and we didn't really want to go to the beach. So we hung out near the water in some beach chairs close to the stables for about 30 mins. On our way back we asked if we could go by the chocolate factory and they said of course. They took us to the macaw market to a store where a woman gave us a 5 min overview on how they make chocolate and gave us free samples of about 12 different types of chocolate. We got some ice cream and a mocha and wandered around the market looking at the art and gift shops for a little bit before heading back to port. Got back to port with plenty of time to walk through some stores and get a 30 min massage. We had a great time, just wish the ride could have been a longer and a better trail.

One of a kind experience
Booked this trip instead of the official cruise line excursions, and wound up with a private adventure for just the two of us which was an amazing bonus. Expected a little more information on Roatan and/or the rainforest or some of the plant/animal life we were seeing (the guides mostly talked among themselves throughout), but the views and experience of riding a horse through the water more than made up for it. Both ATVs and horses were incredible. Highly recommended!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
On Roatan, horseback riding hits a whole new level: Imagine riding through the dense jungle or trotting through the ocean’s crystal waters, dismounting for a dip. Many Roatan horseback-riding tours also include stops at local wildlife sanctuaries (think monkeys and sloths) or ziplining, ATVing, or snorkeling, which doubles—or quadruples—the adventure. From quick one-hour rides to half-day sojourns, there’s no wilder way to experience the island of Roatan.
