For it being our first time everything was such a smooth process, everyone was so nice and made sure we ended up where we needed to go. We had Chris as our guide and would recommend him 1000 times over . He was very educating , kind , and patient. Because of him we would love to do another trip to the island!

We had a great time touring Roatan. Charlie showed us beautiful spots on Roatan and explained what life is like in his corner of the world. Interacting with the animals at the sanctuary was a highlight.

Christian was amazing! He was super friendly, discussed the history of the island and even stopped at the gas station for me to get a pastelito! I had the tours all to myself and got to hold monkeys and parrots and found some batana oil at the chocolate factory! 10/10

The sloth, chocolate, and rum tour with Chris through Roatan Go Charlie was amazing. I highly recommend both.
Chris was on time, friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Chris so much history of Roatan along with the cultural and people of Roatan.
The sloth tour has been on my bucket list of things to experience and it didn’t disappoint.
Via for excursions are so affordable and reliable. Roatan Go Charlie’s Staff communicate and respond very well and fast.
Be sure to go out the gates. It’s a little bit of a walk but you’ll see other tour guides as well.

Tour guide was knowledgeable of the island, the sloth and monkey experience 10/10 recommend! The chocolate factory and rum tasting were a nice touch but the monkey experience is what makes this amazing.

We had an excellent day. Go Charlie communicated effectively through the app about where to meet. (Just outside port, past security. Instructions were good, when we got there early tour guide was not quite there yet, but security and other guides were very helpful and polite. A much nicer experience than in some ports where you can be overwhelmed by touts etc.
Go Charlie told us our guide was to be Clifton and on his way.
Clifton was excellent, he told us all about the island and was very easy going. The drive around the around varied from ‘very’ rough roads to newly tarmacced.
(Car was comfortable, but a bit run down; although you could see why with the pot holes etc!)
The Animal sanctuary was great, you got in really close with Parrots, sloths and monkeys, definitely a highlight.
The Rum & Chocolate factories were slightly disappointing…. More like shops to purchase.
But they served their purpose as convenient stops on a circular tour of a beautiful island.
Really good seeing different areas of the island e.g local, rich, north, downtown and a good size traffic jam by the port.
An excellant private tour.,

Try to get Eric as your guide. He was great!
Personally we did not need the rum stop.
Maybe a stop at a little town or beach to walk for a bit.

We had Eric for our guide. Very nice gentleman. Patient with us and did what we wanted to do. The monkeys and sloths were so much fun to see. Oh and the parrots.
I would recommend this tour for old and young.

Perfect experience in Roatan with Christian (I hope I got his name correct!), our own personal tour guide for my spouse and I. He made the trip enjoyable and a very personal human being. Perfect gentleman and very knowledgeable. The sanctuary was outstanding. Animals are well cared for. The rum tasting was amazing and their chocolate factory was to die for. If it wasn’t for our tour guide, this trip would have been okay; but because of Christian, it was outstanding.

Andrew was fantastic. We are a family of 4 with two preteen daughters. He was awesome. Super knowledgeable and flexible as well. He was patient and kind to answer all the kids questions. The sloth and monkey experience was amazing. They took their time so you could spend time with the animals and learn. Would highly recommend and we will request Andrew the next time we are back. Beautiful country.

Great guide and fun stops along the way. Sloth and monkeys were great! The chocolate factory was not only delicious but also good history stories that our kids enjoyed. Of course we loved the Rum factory and the amazing views!

The kids absolutely loved the animal sanctuary with the sloths and the monkeys and the birds it was beautiful do he Woods was our tour guide and he made every effort to make sure we saw everything that we could. He is a native to the island and knew everything there was to know, I would definitely schedule to see this tour again

This was undoubtedly one of the best tours we have ever been on. Our group consisted of 6 adults. David, our tour guide, was great! He was so kind and amenable to doing anything we wanted. We held sloths, interacted with monkeys and hand fed beautiful macaws to begin the experience. This alone would have been enough to make the tour memorable but there was much more. We sampled delicious rum and rum cakes in a local distillery and chocolate in a local factory. We visited a few beaches and we also stopped to pick up a Honduran treat comprised of a homemade tortilla filled with red beans and cheese. So yummy! We loved the experience and we would definitely recommend to anyone traveling with family or friends.

We had a great time on the private tour with our driver, Rudolph. He went above and beyond to make our time in Honduras memorably. We enjoyed the sloths and monkeys along with the Rum tour and the chocolate factory.

We were of course skeptical booking through a private guide, as our cruise tour for this excursion was full. Charlie was an excellent guide and made us feel comfortable immediately. Highly recommend this personal tour verses the traditional group tours. Glad it worked out that we did this tour!

This was the absolute best part of our cruise!! Oscar was our guide and he was AWESOME! He got us through the lines quickly and he knew everyone! The sloths and monkeys were so amazing!! Holding a sloth was a dream come true! And Oscar took us to all the great spots for photos and would have done more if we would have wanted. I can’t say enough good things about the tour!

The Rum and Chocolate was a little smaller then expected but not Viator's issue.

If I could leave a 10 star I would. Emerson was our personal tour guide. He took us to local spots that allowed for more time to view the local area and see the true beauty in the land. Emerson was very patient and kind. He gave a lesson about the land and history (we asked). Emerson was beyond patient with my friend and myself. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour felt more like we were with a trusted friend than a tour guide. Emerson definitely made this trip the best port that we stopped at. I definitely will look for him when I come back to Roatan.
