Vikings and Volcanoes!

My friend and I had a wonderful time. Paul was the perfect driver and shared so much great history, geology and folklore. Snaellfeness is a wild and beautiful Peninsula but be careful! There are very few bathrooms.... Don't drink too much coffee before you go!

Best tour ever. Hands down.

This was our 2nd tour in 2days. (Diff companies) (diff locations) Let me preface that your tour guide matters. Your tour guide makes or breaks your trip. We had Carlos, from east west tours, he was absolutely hands down the very best. He knew so much of the history and he was passionate about Iceland and his family living there. He made the trip memorable and fun, we learned so much and it was such a good tour. I ended up falling ill, midway thru and was not well, my husband told him in case we needed to leave the tour, he knew exactly what to do and was such a help. I ended up staying in the tour and getting thru it and I’m so thankful. What an incredible journey!;) Thank you Carlos!

Great tour!

We had a great time on our golden circle tour. I personally loved all of the communication after booking and prompt pick up at the bus station. It was nice being able to sit back and relax and not worry about driving/parking. Glad we booked this trip and got to see all the great spots!

Lovely stops and interesting views along the way. After visiting Yellowstone several times, I thought the geyser was not impressive; what was *very* impressive was all the geothermal activity on the hillsides for miles along the road. Although I’d have liked to spend more time at each of the stops, and would encourage folks to take an all-day tour if possible, I couldn’t do so because of my cruise ship schedule. I would have liked to have had more narration from our driver/guide, learning more about both what I saw and Iceland in general.

This is a fun activity. The cave/lava tunnel is very cool to see. Our guide was informative and personable. The bus driver was even kind enough to ask us where we wanted to be dropped off back in the city. It’s is definitely a unique experience that I’d recommend. With that said it does take about 40 minutes to get to the cave and 40 minutes to get back. So of the nearly 3 hour tour, about half is on the bus.

Very informative. Not rushed. Our driver/guide - Simon Adolf - was exceptional in every way, especially discussing the dynamic nature of the region and the effects of receding glaciers on the stability of the rocks. Highly recommend doing this tour with him and East West.

Spectacular tour! Thank you Sigfus Thor!

Huge thanks to our charismatic guide, Sigfus Thor! His wonderful sense of humor was the perfect addition to the tour, and thanks to his prayers, we had fantastic weather on 23.08.2026. He was attentive to every member of the group and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. The small-group format made the whole experience especially enjoyable. There was enough time for comfort breaks, and everything was very well organized. Every location on this tour was absolutely breathtaking! A must-do! The seals looked as if they were posing for the delighted tourists, ocean waves crashed against the black rocks, and the glacier would sometimes hide behind the clouds, only to reveal itself to us again. Spectacular!

Katla Ice Caves & South Coast Tour – An Unforgettable Experience

We had a wonderful experience on the Katla Ice Caves and South Coast tour. Both of our drivers were excellent, professional, and made the day enjoyable from start to finish. A special shout-out to our driver who took us to the ice caves. He was incredibly kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. He provided us with great information and fascinating details throughout the tour, while always making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. He was especially attentive as we made our way up and down into the caves and throughout the entire experience. The Katla Ice Caves were truly remarkable, and this was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. It was a beautiful, exciting, and memorable experience for our entire family. We highly recommend this tour and especially appreciate the wonderful guides who helped make it so special!

Wonderful Experience!

Going to the Blue Lagoon was a special experience! We booked this trip because our flight landed very early AM and we couldn't check into our hotel until the afternoon. We got dropped off and then picked back up for the ride to town and our hotel. It was fun getting all the mud masks and sipping a cocktail in the warm water while snow was falling from above. Highly recommend you check out the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, you'll love it! Oh, we also got the option with robes and towels which was an excellent choice. The changing areas and shower facilities were also very accommodating and offered lockers for your stuff.

Even though we didn’t see...

Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights (bummer, but nature does its thing), this was still a great experience. Our guide, JP, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and shared lots of interesting facts throughout the tour. He was a great driver, easy to talk to, and the hot chocolate and treats were such a nice touch. He really made the whole experience enjoyable and worth it, even without the lights. I’d definitely recommend this tour!

I’ve taking a lot of tours and Anna was absolutely at the top for the experience she provided. Friendly, funny, amazing story telling, patient and easy to connect with immediately which is impressive for such a big group. Our driver Gregor drove us around safely and kept the bus comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this Golden Circle experience. I wish I could have Anna guide us around the entire country!
