Absolutely terrific from start to finish. Emilie, who was my contact in setting up the trip, was great with good communication.
V, our guide, was equally wonderful. She was really well-prepared with a book of visual aids that really added to the information presented.
En route to Pont du Hoc, she laid out the war prior to D-Day, with the resistance and the Vichy government.

This tour was excellent from start to finish. The pick-up was easy and everything was very well organised. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. Visiting Omaha Beach and the cemetery was very moving, and the stories and context our guide shared really brought the history to life. A powerful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Normandy.

We were not up with the d day history as much as we should have been and I think that if you are doing this a little prior knowledge would help… the guide was excellent and his English was excellent and he enthused us to read up more information on d day

Only five people in our group. We had a wonderful guide who spoke flawless english. She answered every question with insight and used photos in her binder to illuminate her points. Both my father and father-in-law landed at Omaha and Utah beach respectively. She personalized the tour to reflect what our fathers would have experienced as they landed on each of the beaches. We started at Utah beach, and were the first group to arrive at Utah that morning. So, we had the entire beach to our ourselves. Our guide said that was very unusual. So, I would recommend an early morning tour with this small group tour.

Emilie did a good job handling an inconsistency between an agreed upon time of the tour and the time on the ticket. The tickets from the app did not reflect our rescheduled time, although they did reflect the rescheduled date. So we showed up at the ticketed time, and were accommodated by another group. More attention should be paid by Viator agents to the ticket details.

Amazing experience lead by Louis!
Be prepared for the weather as the coast can get windy and a little chilly but not unbearable. We travelled with my 11 year old daughter and 65 year old parents and the tour length, locations and information provided was perfect.

What a wonderful experience! David was a great tour guide. He had a wealth of knowledge of WW2 history, and was also welcoming and warm. His talk was full of personal stories of individual soldiers who fought, which made the past very meaningful and profoundly moving. David was also very respectful of our time as well as our comfort. He really made the whole experience come alive for us. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide (we think his name was Jeremiah) was very knowledgeable about the area and History before D-Day. It was great hearing the "why" the US came to help the French before seeing the sites which were so moving. The a/c minivan was a welcome in this June heat. Would Highly recommend this tour. We were only in Bayeux for a 1/2 day so this tour was perfect. We even got so see part of the cute historic town of Bayeux on our way back to the Gare de Bayeux (drop off).

What a moving experience! The D-Day site and the American Cemetery have got to be seen to understand the feelings they inspire. I wish we had more time, as we originally booked Band of Brothers tour but got kicked out/ cancelled. Our guide, Emma, was interesting and knowledgeable and we would definitely take another tour with her in the future. We highly recommend seeing the D-Day sites!

This is a shorter, less strenuous tour of the highlights at Normandy, and for me and my wife it was perfect, highlighting Omaha Beach, Pont-de-Hoc, and the American Cemetery. Our guide, Emma, was very knowledgeable and likeable.

We had Jeremy as a guide and he was amazing, especially with our 2 boys (11 and 9) who were very interested in WWII. He was engaging, very personable, and knowledgeable. The half day tour is great for kids (our 6yr stayed interested until just about the end) or if you just want a preview and quick history of the sights.

Awe inspiring. The magnitude of the beaches and what was accomplished there, takes your breath away. Cemetery by the ocean with 9000+ headstones very sombering.

I enjoyed the tour even though it was cut short. Our guide Jack did a great job explaining what we were seeing.
My disappointment with the tour is that I traveled a long way expecting to get what I paid for and that would be a full half day tour. What I received was less than that.

You should have booked a full day tour, it lasts 8 hours and much more time are spent on sites. The tour you booked is made for people who don't have much time.
