Mike was one of the best guides for any tour that I have ever taken. His in-depth knowledge of the sites and personal accounts of stories of the soldiers were fascinating. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mike was such an exceptional guide. He communicated ahead of our arrival to confirm our pickup and was easy to locate since we’re were driving in from another town. He shared is vast D Day knowledge with us and taught even this more well versed history buffs in our group some additional insights and history. He kept everyone engaged in our group of six ranging from ages 10-71. We never felt rushed. His deep knowledge of the area and timing allowed for us to be able to quickly change plans in time to catch the lowering of the flags at 4PM at the cemetery. The story of Sts Damian & Cosmas Church in Angoville was amazing - brand new information to me. Mike is an incredible host and passionate about the history of WW2 in Normandy. Also, he's friendly and kind. We had small children and adults and he kept everyone entertained.

Our guide, Mike, exceeded our expectations and made our day together exactly what we hoped for. He was dependable, entertaining and more than once admired by other tour guides. He listened to our particular needs and did his best to deliver a memorable and unique D-Day tour experience. His vehicle is comfortable and he shares with passion his knowledge of the area, the events of D-Day and the impact then and now. We ended the day at the American cemetery and witnessed the flag ceremony and listened to Taps. Beautiful and poignant ending to a perfect day. Mike is amazing.
He is a great mix of knowledge, passion and humor. We got to learn of his lifelong interests in this history and he personalized our experience and didn't just give us a canned tour. I have some mobility limitations and Mike accommodated me, and made adjustments in our day.
His timing at the end of the day to put us at the American Cemetery just in time for Retreat was the capstone on an already perfect experience.

Mike was just incredible. The immense amount of knowledge he had down to the minuscule details was just astounding. You can tell he absolutely loves his work and sharing it with others. He’s way more enthusiastic than I ever would be showing people the same things every day! He’s funny, engaging, charismatic, and speaks better English than I do! Our group of 6 included my two boys (ages 8 and 11) and in laws; my father in-law is a Vietnam veteran and his father was a WWII veteran. We thoroughly enjoyed journeying with and learning from Mike - who possesses both a skill for engaging a wide age-range and an encyclopedic knowledge base. He was incredibly fruitful and responsive to our questions along the way. His passion for sharing this epochal day is abundantly clear.
We visited two villages, Utah and Omaha beaches and the American Cemetery. He gave sweeping overviews alongside nuanced and detailed stories of specific soldiers. We ended the day more educated, enlightened and inspired to learn more about D Day and WWII in general. A few days later, my father in law, who has done extensive reading, bought three books and I just picked up D Day by Ambrose.
The memories we will have and the value of this tour is truly priceless.
Absolutely incredible tour. We had a family of 7, including two veterans, and the amount of knowledge Mike had was bar none. He was sincere and engaging and we all can't thank him enough for an incredible experience that will not soon be forgotten.

Encyclopedic knowledge with wonderful delivery
Mike, the owner/tour operator is excellent! He is so knowledgeable about WWII and the history of the area that he really made the story of what happened at the D Day beaches come alive. If not for him we would have been staring at an empty beach! We had our three kids with us on this trip and they said it was one of the best things we did during our entire trip. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Mike was very friendly and told me a lot about history of the landing. Having known already a lot about the DD day he told me other facts, logical history tricks and scories. It is with the price... je picked me up at 8:30 close To bayeux, brought me two two extra locations. I saw many things with a lot of information : St mère Église, the story of the paratroopers on the roof, the scarces of the german bulletts, the location of the 82nd airborn division pathfinder landing... many many other treasures of history but also wondering myself trafics and critical and very tough as both cemeteries of colléville and la cambe and also french major Kieffer and Guyenne french air force tactical group mémorial. Worth the money. I advice for the gourmets of history and good tremper this trip with Mike, this tour guide, he is the boss of the Allied victory tour. Ibis budget accommodation is pretty Nice, cheap and friendly as to reserve your budget for the tour
