Great out of the city day!

It was well done. Everything they described is actually what happened. Our guide Carolyn was a good storyteller. The village was quaint and entertaining. Learned all about the history of the windmills, wooden shoes and cheese. Fun day, rain or shine. Highly recommend.

Cheese and wine and all is fine.

Great trip, about an hours ride around the canals passing points of interest. Definitely learned more about Amsterdam and hosts were great with commentary and filling up the glasses with wine. Cheese was great addition too! Baring in mind how much drink costs in Amsterdam, we definitely got our moneys worth in drinks alone. Would recommend and would do again, especially with this company as fun and professional.

The rain couldn’t slow us down!

Abel was fantastic! We absolutely loved this 2 hour canal ride. Absolutely the best! It was raining and when Abel pulled up to dock in the classiest boat with a clear cover, I knew it was going to be the BEST tour. He gave a wonderful explanation of all the wine, beer and beverage choices. Lots of fun history and facts.

Delicious, fun and informative!

This was such a fun way to learn about Amsterdam while also trying some local food. We started at 11:00 am. We were glad we ate a light breakfast. We spent 2.5 hours sampling food and learning interesting facts about the city. We left feeling very full. It gave us a greater appreciation for the city. So glad we did this one!

Museum great - Viator was an issue

The Van Gogh museum was awesome. It took about 2 hours to do it justice. Unfortunately the Viator tickets were an issue - they kept saying we would re give an email with our tickets the day before but we never did. Then it said to show the museum our Viator purchase and they would provide the tickets. The museum told us it was a scam. Ends up the tickets were there but only after you clicked on "Contact Ticket Provider" which is not intuitive.

Great canal ride on arrival date from the US with jet lag

We arrived in Amsterdam on a flight from the US at 6 am. So I booked this in advance, figuring our room would not be ready. We did this at the first booking at 10 am. I had selected the option of no unlimited drinks or snacks, but they misread our viator ticket and gave us wrist bands for unlimited. Slight bonus I guess. I thought our tour guide was excellent. The ship was comfortable. We learned a lot about Amsterdam and its history. One thing I would caution you is do not have an expectation that the places you are going to see are what is listed on the itinerary. Ours was completely different. No Anne Frank House or Rijkismuseum. But I found where we went and the places we learned about to be much more interesting. Like the narrowest house in Amsterdam. So much fun. The unlimited drinks and snacks we didn't pay for, but received anyways, probably not worth it. It was a small container of bar mix and a beer or wine. I didn't want anything anyways. I was not asked after my first drink if I wanted another, but honestly after the long flight and jet lag, I wanted nothing. Really enjoyable. I highly recommend.

An amazing evening in Amsterdam

We had an absolutely lovely evening on the canal with the KINboat team. There were so many tours to choose from; we had a hard time narrowing everything down. Captain Dirk was truly the man and made our evening fun and enjoyable. He is a wealth of knowledge, so we also learned a good amount about the history of the Netherlands and the city. If you're looking for a tour, look no further (and request captain dirk!).
