Great Day with Enzo on the Amalfi Coast & Pompeii!

We had an exceptional day with Enzo and our driver exploring the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. We met our tour bus in Naples and began the scenic drive along the coast, where Enzo kept us entertained with fascinating stories and insights about the region. Our driver skillfully navigated the narrow, winding coastal roads, making the journey both safe and efficient. At our first stop in Positano, Enzo recommended using the time for refreshments and some light “window shopping,” which was the perfect way to take in the beauty of the town. We then continued on to Sorrento, where we were given ample time to shop, enjoy lunch, and explore at our own pace. After Sorrento, we traveled to Pompeii, where Enzo truly brought the experience to life. He guided us expertly through the ruins, sharing captivating stories and historical details throughout the tour. His knowledge and engaging storytelling made the ancient city incredibly memorable. We would absolutely book another tour with Enzo in the future and highly recommend him to anyone visiting the area.

Worth it

The views from Vesuvius were absolutely stunning. However, I would have appreciated more insight into the geology and geography, as this wasn’t included in the tour. The pizza for lunch was delicious, the limoncello tasting was food. Finally, the guided tour of Pompeii was a highlight, engaging and informative. Extending it by another hour would have made it even better.

A must see. You could...

A must see. You could spend a couple of days in Pompeii so it was great having a guide to show us the highlights and tell us the history. Our guide Connie, Teresa (guide at Pompeii and our driver Genaro kept us informed and on time. The light lunch was a full meal at a scenic restaurant. Be prepared for the hike up Mt. Vesuvius with comfortable shoes, a jacket and water. My phone recorded that I walked 45 flights up. I saw small children and seniors make it to the top.

A great excursion!

This was a well-organized excursion. Both our guide and driver were top notch. While navigating those hairpin turns on the narrow roads, our driver contributed to the guide's narrative with interesting, little known tidbits of the region. They were a great team. Everything was well-planned and timed perfectly to get us back to the ship on time.

Don’t Miss Amalfi

We were traveling on a Viking cruise which stopped in Naples, but their excursions did mot include Amalfi Coast. This tour was exactly what we were looking for!! Perfect weather and a great tour guide, Angelo 👏👏. Returning to the cruise shop on time was crucial for us and Angelo did a great job managing the schedule to ensure our time was maximized. Angelo was very punctual and customer focused. The Mercedes ban was clean and comfortable. Angelo’s hospitality experience and lifelong knowledge of the area made him an enthusiastic ambassador of the region, sharing much information along the way. He was as a safe and careful driver along the winding coastline roads. We highly recommend the tour and Angelo as your tour guide.

Overall a great experience, not to be missed!!

We had a brilliant experience with Napoli City Vision, we purchased: SORRENTO, POSITANO, AMALFI and RAVELLO tour from Naples - Group Tour. Our guide Pepe was friendly, knowledgable and fun. Angelo the driver was professional and showed impressive skill navigating the narrow roads of the Amalfi coast. I would highly recommend this tour and make sure to include Ravello as it was the hidden gem on the tour! All stops had incredible views and we had free time at most stops to explore by ourselves (although this tour isn't 100% guided, the guide does show you some highlights at each stop). The drive along the Amalfi coast was beautiful and an experience in itself! The minibus we had was comfortable, seated 12 guests and had the much needed air-conditioning. The only other recommendation I would have is to use the bathroom before you leave and go at every opportunity on the way, as there is long periods of travel between stops. Overall a great experience, not to be missed!!
