We love Medellin and this Guatape tour!

Our tour was so fun. Alex was a great tour guide organized, knowledgeable, and quite funny. This tour was jam packed we had delicious meals, and great activities to visit the Rock in Guadape and the town itself. We also had a beautiful boat ride on Guadape reservoir and then also went to animal preserve where we fed chickens to pigs to Llamas. Exhausted but so happy to have had this experience

Highly recommended

The experience was amazing from start to finish. The horses are so well maintained and friendly and an added bonus they have a bunch of rescued cats and dogs that you can play with while you wait (if you love animals like I do this is a plus). The pick up at the location was on time and we started on time and throughout the ride both instructors are there to guide you and even assist with the horses if they get to excited (every horse has their personally).

A great value for money

It’s along trip and worth it. Guides Nico and Erickson were so upbeat and made the trip really nice and fun. Lunch was not really good quality but will do. The time in Guatape town is real tight and you need to move quickly to see all the “must pass by” streets. I really appreciated the communication skills of the organizers and the driving of the bus was nice and steady.

Pay attention to the pick up time. And don’t be late for the pickup up as being late could cost you an additional cover if the driver has to wait long. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and enjoy the thrill of the experience. You’ll be soaring through the air and if ever you feel uncomfortable let your pilot know. Hellen who was my point of contact was amazing and extremely friendly. They’ll be more than happy to accommodate your requests especially if you have company that just want to come watch you but not participate.

A great day

The tour guide was great and very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was good and so was lunch in the afternoon. The drive was comfortable. I did go to the top at el peñol but honestly the view from halfway was pretty decent so I don’t think I would do that again. I would probably just hang out and take some pictures and grab a snack instead. Overall everything was great but be prepared to walk a lot!!

Christian was fantastic !...

Christian was fantastic ! Very knowledgable, explained the history in detail, gave us lots of interesting facts, always knew where we were going and what we would do next. Very easy to chat with as we walked around. He even helped me search for a patch for my jacket and when things were looking like we wouldn’t find it he tried one more spot and we ended up finding my patch. Made sure we had lots of breaks, food and drink options and took great photos of us. 10/10 guide would encourage everyone to book this tour. It’s lovely to go backwards (top down) rather than bottom up.

A Great Experience

The experience was amazing. Our guide Juan was exceptionally awesome. Very knowledge base and helpful. As english speakers he ensured we were well taken care of and always in the know. Aside from our guide being on the ball of things, the tour it self is something I will be talking about for days. The rich history, energy and friendliness of the persons there will draw anyone in. 10/10 Amazing Experience

This experience was worth every penny!! The coorindator spoke perfect English. The one I did the flight with spoke enough. It was so enjoyable. Only thing to note is that you could get nauseous up there. We flew for a lot longer than I thought we would which at first I was very happy about because it was so fun, but then I felt nauseous and was sick so we had to end it sooner than normal 😅 Still worth it! Excellent experience. You park at the bottom of this hill then need to walk up quite a few steps so be ready for that too.
