I missed my tour by 5 mins. They didn’t wait. The reason I was late is because the tour the took prior with Viator lasted longer than advertised
The van really had no A/C and we couldn’t hear the driver at the very back. We spent too much time in traffic.
The tour is very good. You get to see several locations that are relevant to the exploits of the Medellin Cartel during the infamous period. Our guide, Alejandro, was extremely knowledgeable about the exploits of Pablo and the cartel. He did an outstanding job of telling the story of the Cartel's escapades.
The tour guide Alejandro was cool, he explained everything of the tour in detail with his personal experiences. A recommend tour to know the history of Paolo Escobar! The museum was a good experience!
My tour guide, Kevin was the best. He allowed me to exercise my own interpretation of the knowledge provided which I really appreciated. He was also very interactive. I did not get tired of listening to him at any point of the trip.
traffic was terrible spent tpo much time in the park didd not see the roof Escobar died on , left the tour early
Tour guide Carlos was energetic and informative. We had a good time with him and he explained a lot of different things. We weren’t able to complete one of the itinerary items as the areas were having a variety of parades. For the transportation the air conditioning was not working well in the second vehicle we were assigned to. Not sure if they overbooked the tour. I would recommend the tour but I would request an adequate vehicle for air circulation.
The trip was ok. First, we departed more than an hour later. Next, we did not visit all the places listed on the itinerary.
The guided tour guy was cool.
Our tour guide Kevin was very informative. A lot of light was shed on things that were in the dark. Would definitely recommend his service.
Our Tour Guide Alejandro was awesome and told us a lot about the true history of Pablo Escobar. We did it in Spanish which was awesome to understand. I would recommend this tour for anyone.
Informative, engaging and overall great experience. Kevin was knowledgeable and provided insight and thought provoking discussion.
This tour is thorough and informative! Alejandro was funny and smart, the bus was comfortable and cool, and the sites, especially the museum and wall, were powerful reminders of Medellin’s transformation and growth.
Kevin was amazing! Very informative! 10/10 recommend. Learned a lot from this tour and appreciate the passion Kevin has for his job and his country
Great tour with Luis as our guide. Do it now before people that have lived it pass away and the story you hear is Americanzoided. Real guy who lived it and tells it how is was!
Overall the tour was informational and we enjoyed ourselves. The stories were great and the museum was fun! However, a lot of the stops are spread apart and the time in the van (especially in the back) was very stuffy and loud.
This was so educational and respectful, we felt that we learnt a lot and that this tour was well paced
Wonderful tour, lots of insider information about Pablo and we even got to meet Pablo’s niece. Highly recommend
It’s an interesting activity because evidence based knowledge is presented about Pablo Escobar. So you have further information in order to compare to movies. Moreover, in the museum were presented all the published books. Therefore, if you are interested you can study more about the cartel, activities
It was a very informative tour. Took us to various spots that were part of his life and death. Our guide Carlos did a fantastic job of giving us details we never heard about his life.
Alejandro was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and kind. I learned a lot on this tour. He talked about the history and even showed photos and videos. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tour.
It is an interesting tour but a lot of time on the bus, museum is pretty small. Guide was good and value for money.
Great experience with Carlos, very knowledgable and friendly.
Interesting stops along the way and would recommend.
We had the BEST experience with Alejandro. I was curious what Escobar story we would hear after hearing so many viewpoints. However, Alejandro knew the history inside and out and with great passion! For our own reasons along with his we knew he was speaking truth! We enjoyed the museum where we met Escobar's niece who was super friendly and enjoyed all it had to offer. We then went across for a water/beer with our group. Buses were air conditioned and comfortable. We then headed to the cemetery and wall. Excellent tour whether you hate, like, or don't care about him personally it's still the history of Medellin and was nice to learn more about it. Highly recommend!
Alejandro was a great guide, his personal experience isn't something you can get from any tour guide or any tv show. This was a learning experience and I'm very glad I went on this tour. See the house where he died, the museum, his grave, and the memorial to his victims.
A really good tour. Dealt with Escobar truthfully, speaking about the destruction he brought to Colombia rather than ‘Robin Hood’ myth surrounding him. Joe was a great guide.
Joe was a great tour guide and very informative. Plenty of time to record and take pictures of everything.
Jo was a great tour guide highly recommend it was very informative learning about Pablo Escobar and his fall
Try to go with Alejandro, he is good and knows he’s stuff. Some of those guias just talk , but Alejandro gets to the point!
Carlos was amazing! So passionate! Would definitely do this tour again :-) he gave a lot of detail and story behind each stop. Really unique! One of the highlights for sure!
Carlos was our tour guide, he was great and very friendly and very informative. One of the buses broke down and he got us three luxury Ubers to finish the tour. He was great all the way around.
