This tour was crazy interesting! The story itself is wild, and I learned so much. Some parts had me like, “Wait… that really happened?” The guide was amazing and really knew his stuff. Definitely recommend if you wanna hear the real history. Wear comfy shoes and get ready for a wild ride.

Our tour guide Kevin was very informative. A lot of light was shed on things that were in the dark. Would definitely recommend his service.

Our Tour Guide Alejandro was awesome and told us a lot about the true history of Pablo Escobar. We did it in Spanish which was awesome to understand. I would recommend this tour for anyone.

Informative, engaging and overall great experience. Kevin was knowledgeable and provided insight and thought provoking discussion.

This tour is thorough and informative! Alejandro was funny and smart, the bus was comfortable and cool, and the sites, especially the museum and wall, were powerful reminders of Medellin’s transformation and growth.

Kevin was amazing! Very informative! 10/10 recommend. Learned a lot from this tour and appreciate the passion Kevin has for his job and his country

Great tour with Luis as our guide. Do it now before people that have lived it pass away and the story you hear is Americanzoided. Real guy who lived it and tells it how is was!

Overall the tour was informational and we enjoyed ourselves. The stories were great and the museum was fun! However, a lot of the stops are spread apart and the time in the van (especially in the back) was very stuffy and loud.

This was so educational and respectful, we felt that we learnt a lot and that this tour was well paced

Wonderful tour, lots of insider information about Pablo and we even got to meet Pablo’s niece. Highly recommend

It’s an interesting activity because evidence based knowledge is presented about Pablo Escobar. So you have further information in order to compare to movies. Moreover, in the museum were presented all the published books. Therefore, if you are interested you can study more about the cartel, activities

It was a very informative tour. Took us to various spots that were part of his life and death. Our guide Carlos did a fantastic job of giving us details we never heard about his life.

Alejandro was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and kind. I learned a lot on this tour. He talked about the history and even showed photos and videos. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tour.

It is an interesting tour but a lot of time on the bus, museum is pretty small. Guide was good and value for money.

Great experience with Carlos, very knowledgable and friendly.
Interesting stops along the way and would recommend.

We had the BEST experience with Alejandro. I was curious what Escobar story we would hear after hearing so many viewpoints. However, Alejandro knew the history inside and out and with great passion! For our own reasons along with his we knew he was speaking truth! We enjoyed the museum where we met Escobar's niece who was super friendly and enjoyed all it had to offer. We then went across for a water/beer with our group. Buses were air conditioned and comfortable. We then headed to the cemetery and wall. Excellent tour whether you hate, like, or don't care about him personally it's still the history of Medellin and was nice to learn more about it. Highly recommend!

Alejandro was a great guide, his personal experience isn't something you can get from any tour guide or any tv show. This was a learning experience and I'm very glad I went on this tour. See the house where he died, the museum, his grave, and the memorial to his victims.

A really good tour. Dealt with Escobar truthfully, speaking about the destruction he brought to Colombia rather than ‘Robin Hood’ myth surrounding him. Joe was a great guide.
Kendria_A, Mar 2026
Joe was a great tour guide and very informative. Plenty of time to record and take pictures of everything.
Kingsley_L, Mar 2026
Jo was a great tour guide highly recommend it was very informative learning about Pablo Escobar and his fall

Try to go with Alejandro, he is good and knows he’s stuff. Some of those guias just talk , but Alejandro gets to the point!

Carlos was amazing! So passionate! Would definitely do this tour again :-) he gave a lot of detail and story behind each stop. Really unique! One of the highlights for sure!
Benzi_D, Mar 2026
Carlos was our tour guide, he was great and very friendly and very informative. One of the buses broke down and he got us three luxury Ubers to finish the tour. He was great all the way around.

We learnt so much about the history of Pablo Escobar and the city of Medellín. Mateo was a fantastic guide, lots of knowledge and insight, very friendly and answered all of our questions.
Very interesting to see the perspective from the Medellín people. Definitely recommend this tour!!

We enjoyed immersing ourselves in this chapter of Colombian history for an afternoon. Alex was our tour guide. He was energetic and full of knowledge. I can’t recommend him enough. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend going out of your way for this tour unless you truly have a deep interest in the subject. While the rooftop visit and historical discussions were excellent, the museum in Comuna 13 was devoid of any significant substance and felt far too much like another cash grab on the Escobar legacy. The beer stop was a nice touch, but our group was too large for the small cafe chosen as the venue. It was a hit-or-miss afternoon for these reasons, so just make sure you book understanding what you want to get out of the tour.

This was a highlight of the Medllin visit. With some much published history on Escobar it was fascinating to see some of that in person. Our guide was fantastic and the tour operated smoothly. Grab you a photo in front of the iconic house or the stairs to the memorial in the communa.

This experience about the back ground of the drug traffic and the life of Pablo Escobar is great. Our tour guide Alejandro was very knowledgeable and had very nice detailed background information all well presented in English. One of my highlights in Medellin
Lucero_R, Mar 2026
Kevin was not just the best tour guide we’ve had! He was the highlight of our entire trip. And that’s saying a lot because we’ve done some incredible things here.
From the moment the tour started, his presence, professionalism, and depth of knowledge set the tone. This is a heavy, complex, and emotional part of history, and Kevin handled it with such balance, respect, and intelligence. He made everything easy to understand without ever oversimplifying it. The way he connects the past to the present, answers questions thoughtfully, and explains context shows that he truly understands the history. You can tell this isn’t just a script to him.
What makes Kevin exceptional isn’t just what he knows, it’s how he delivers it. He’s engaging, warm, articulate, and incredibly well-educated. He creates space for real conversation and makes you feel completely immersed in the experience.
Out of all the tours and experiences we’ve done, this one stands above the rest because of him. Not just the content but HIM. His energy, his passion, his professionalism. Unforgettable.
If you’re booking this tour, do it!!!! And if you’re lucky enough to get Kevin, you’re in for something truly special. He deserves all the flowers and more.
