    A must when visiting Comuna 13

    Great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Made everyone feel confortable and made sure we all had time to take photos . Make sure to visit Comuna 13 with a guide otherwise you will be missing out the local perspective and how the neighborhood has trasformed theirs lives. Ask for Thomas.

    Amazing Tour, Must See, and Great Tour Guide!

    This was a great, informative, eye-opening tour. Our tour guide, Cindy, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, being a local resident in Comuna 13! She brought her perspective which made the tour even better. We learned a lot and were pleasantly surprised with additional adds (a breakdancing and rapping mini shows :)) The area is amazing too! Must see.

    I don’t like writing reviews as I have always had great experiences on many tours I have taken. I have learned in my past experiences that you can always contact your tour guide and let them know you are running late and some of them will tell you where they are at in case you are running late even if that means you pay for your own transportation on getting there. I was willing to do that. I contacted the agency as well as the tour guide Yason that was running late due to traffic. He sent me his location to the meeting point and after 15 mins his location shut off. I tried to contact him several times so I could figure out where he was an no response. Tried contacting the agency directly and no one answered. I decided to look at the itinerary to guide myself and I had a WAY BETTER EXPERIENCE on my own. Later in the day I received a voice memo from my tour guide letting me know I “should have been there on time” just like everyone else to get the full experience. To be honest I had a better experience on my own as I mentioned above without the tour guide. I didn’t bother to reply as I was having an amazing time, they can keep my money at this point. I will say I would of rather gone with the other agency’s that were there offering their services as there was more than 15 of them and seemed a lot more friendly and willing to help try to contact this agency even though they had nothing to do with the issue. Never again and hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

    Karla, thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify that the tour started at the scheduled time at the previously communicated meeting point. Unfortunately, you were unable to arrive on time due to traffic. Even so, our guide shared his real-time location and made an effort to help you find the group while the tour was already in progress. Due to the large number of visitors in Comuna 13 that day, and for group organization and safety reasons, it was not possible to stop the tour or regroup once it had begun. This is something we clearly communicate in advance, as punctuality is essential to ensure the full experience for all participants. We understand that you chose to explore the area on your own and respect that decision. However, we want to make it clear that the inability to meet again was not due to a lack of attention or willingness to help, but rather the conditions of the location and the fact that the tour was already underway. We appreciate your comment and wish you the best in your future travels.

    Christian is a great tour guide who is obviously passionate about his neighbourhood. We saw everything that was promised and a few hidden gems. 10/10 would recommend.

    This was the best walking tour I’ve been on. As a teacher and local Christian seemed very knowledgeable and kept it interesting. He threw in a few activities and treats that really kicked it up a notch. You’d be missing out not to do a tour with him.

    I only gave a 4 star because of tour company, but not tour itself nor guide, Christian. Christian desrves a 5 and tour was excellent. Scheduled and had confirmation of tour in Spanish because of my guests. Unfortunately, “the system”(as company indicated to guide) said it was in English. Against, Christian’s attempt to switch us they did not accommodate us. Christian was awesome having to translate constantly having to take time away of those other English speakers on the tour. To the tour company, “the system” does not make choices. Someone has to input. However, that said, the tour itself was excellent and fun. Christian was awesome. The local tastings were great.

    Cindy, nuestra guía fue muy atenta con nosotros y nos conto muy bien toda la historia de la comuna, sobre todo desde su perspectiva ya que creció y vive actualmente en la comuna. El tour incluye un helado a elección que fueron muy refrescantes para el calor. La historia contada por Cindy y los lugares tan lindos que vimos fueron una experiencia increíble.

    Esperienza indimenticabile il posto è pieno di storia i cittadini sono ospitali e cordiali la nostra guida SEBASTIAN è stata veramente brava nel raccontarci la storia del posto e farci conoscere al meglio la comuna esperienza da 10 e lode la consiglio vivamente. Scordatevi i pregiudizi basta con i luoghi comuni Medellin è un posto fantastico e grazie ai suoi cittadini è diventata spettacolare e sicura.
