An incredible experience from beginning to end! 🇨🇴 Touring Comuna 13 with Jorge has been, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my visit to Medellín. Jorge has been an exceptional guide, approachable, fun, and passionate about what he does. It allowed us to learn about the history of Comuna 13, its transformation, and the essence of a neighborhood full of life, art, and resilience. Helena’s exceptional service made this experience truly memorable. Despite the unfortunate postponement due to inclement weather during my birthday afternoon, Helena’s prompt and sincere apology was greatly appreciated. She offered to reschedule the experience for the following morning and provided transportation pickup, which was not offered for my hotel. Upon arrival, we underwent the necessary registration process and engaged in a brief discussion with the group. Before i knew it, i was exhilarated as we embarked on a thrilling adventure down the mountain. As someone with a fear of heights, I initially anticipated a sense of apprehension, but the sheer excitement of the experience overwhelmed any fear. The breathtaking scenery and my partners exceptional guidance made the experience truly unforgettable. Upon our descent, Helena and the team presented me with a thoughtful gesture of a banner, a delectable brownie adorned with a sparkler and a balloon. From the outset, the guides exhibited exceptional politeness and responsiveness. Upon providing the necessary location details, they demonstrated remarkable adaptability, accommodating both English and Spanish-speaking individuals throughout the journey. Their patience and courtesy created an unforgettable experience. I was particularly impressed by their extensive knowledge, which enriched our understanding of the tour’s background. The boat ride was a dope experience, offering breathtaking scenery. The unexpected animal encounter after breakfast was a pleasant surprise, as I had not anticipated encountering the cute animals. I was captivated by a charming little kitty that could be donated to as they had specific boxes assigned to each area. The infamous rock itself is a must-see for anyone visiting Colombia. It presents a challenging climb, but the rewarding view from the summit is truly breathtaking. Side note: definitely highlights having the ability to do more on the stair master LOL. This experience is absolutely worth it! You get to ride ATV’s all through out the mountains, and even get to stop for some delicious empanadas and booze (for purchase). Followed by a refreshing dive in a cold natural spring and a lunch with the group. This trip was super valuable and would 10/10 recommend!

We had a blast!

Our group of 5 had an excellent time! Communication via WhatsApp was great, the meeting point was easy to find, and transportation in a spacious, air-conditioned van was comfortable (about an hour each way). The ATVs were great, with options for both beginners and experienced riders. We got a few practice laps before heading out, and helmets were provided. The ride was a blast, with plenty of curves, mountain terrain, and genuine off-roading. We also stopped for pictures, saw a little waterfall, and enjoyed some delicious empanadas along the way. Everything was well organized, and the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun adventure outside Medellín!

I don't drink coffee, but ...Wow!

Our visit to Finca La Arrinconada was one of the highlights of our trip to Medellín. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about Colombian coffee, from the growing and harvesting process to the preparation of the final cup. Although I don’t drink coffee, my friends do, and we really enjoyed learning about the process and tasting the final product. The experience gave us a greater appreciation for the hard work, dedication and tradition behind Colombia’s world-famous coffee. The beautiful surroundings were rustic and felt wonderfully natural, adding to the experience and making it both relaxing and educational. If you're visiting Medellín and looking for an authentic coffee farm experience, I would definitely recommend including this tour in your itinerary. A memorable experience and absolutely worth it!

This tour was excellent. We were taken all over the city to places like Plaza Botero, Paisa town, and the best of them all Communa 13. Also, we rode the metro and the cable cars in Medellin. My tour guide gave me the English version of the tour since I was the only American which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour.
