It was an opportunity to experience the train and cable cars. I enjoyed Botero Park. The guide spoke mainly in Spanish-which I (and 2 other American)s) could not understand. We were then given a very short version of whatever was said. I felt like we were shortchanged in that area. There was no way that we were given the same information.

The tour was average. We did not spend enough time in the places. It would have been nice to have more history or information on the places that we visited. We traveled on a Metrocable car, but only one stop, and not to the top. This was disappointing. We literally quickly walked through the Museo de Aqua grounds. This stop was a waste of time. I cannot recommend this tour.

The tour was good, but I think some of the stops were a bit too short, also remember to walk with a snack or cash as food isn’t included.

Our’s was a multi language tour so we needed to listen to the commentary twice, once in English and once in Spanish. We rode on a bus, a taxi, the metro and the cable car so we got an overview of the city which was helpful in planning future tours and understanding how the neighborhoods were laid out in Medellin. However, the guide spoke too loudly into her microphone and it became an issue for us. I’m not sure we would do it again.

The tour did not meet our expectations. The only authentic part of the tour was a private conversation with our guide about drug lords and his town. If all you want is to see a few sights then this is still a so so choice. For example you get a visit to a square with Botero sculptures, there was no explanation of who Botero was and his importance to Columbia. Then when we gathered at the meeting place, there was no sign of our guide, who said he was going to be at the souvenir store the whole time we were viewing. A blatant trick to get us in that store.

Great city tour of Medellin with historical context and stopping at highlights throughout the city! Our tour guide Daniel was great and helpful. He was knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable! We learned a lot about the city. Jaime our bus driver was a smooth operator getting us to each location safely. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city.

We made a mistake when making the reservations; it was corrected and approved (I have a text showing the approval) Unfortunately, when we got to the bus, May didn’t want to accept the correction. Her unwillingness to help us was terrible. She needs to get trained to provide better service. Fortunately, Paula was marvelous and helped us to join the tour. Our tour guide was great as well. The trip started out at the Parque del Poblado. We got on a tour bus which took us to the train station first. Bus was small and took hours to cool off. My husband's legs did not fit and he had to sit sideways, so did a few others. The tour was scheduled to be with an English-speaking guide and it was both in Spanish and English. Since most of the tourists spoke Spanish, the guide mainly spoke Spanish and then gave a shortened translation in English, leaving me to have to translate for my husband most of the time. I didn't necessarily mind this but it definitely made the experience less interactive for him. The guide seemed tired and lacked enthusiasm. First part of the tour was for us to take the train during rush hour to the metrocable station, go up on the metro cable 1 stop, take pics, then get back on the train. We then took the train to the square where the Botero sculptures were. We had about 20 mins to explore the area. From there we went to a park to walk around and then to the Pueblito Paisa. Overall, I enjoyed the Pueblito Paisa and Botero square. Taking the train is not necessarily something that should be included in the tour, in my opinion. The park was also anticlimatic. For the tour to improve, maybe the tour should focus on areas that are closer together or include food tastings. We sat in traffic a lot of the time. We considered leaving the tour many times if it wasn't for the pueblito paisa tour at the end.

While we appreciate your suggestions, it’s good to remember that the tour and the areas we visit are clearly detailed from the start, including the metro ride. So, it seems like this tour wasn’t the “perfect match” for you.
Also, when we say “bilingual guide,” it means the tour is conducted in two languages, which can sometimes make the information flow a bit differently. We’re sorry the tour wasn’t exactly what you were looking for, but we encourage you to choose one that better fits your preferences next time. We’re sure you’ll find the perfect tour for you!

Really great tour to do on the 1st or 2nd day of your trip. I think it's a great value but there are a few ways I think it can improve: the guide should be easy to recognize with a flag or bright hat or something, it was hard to keep an eye on him; the guide should also have a better mic because we were not able to hear about 50% of what he shared when we weren't on the bus; and the description should better explain thete are a lot of stairs to climb because it was really hard for my mom to keep up. Our tour felt rushed, but we were able to experience enough to know what we wanted to go back to on our own. The 1 thing I did not like is there are no bathrooms for the first hour of the tour and when we did see one, our guide wouldn't let us use it. We actually had to pull away from the group when we saw another bathroom and he didn't wait for us. That seemed really inconsiderate about a basic human need.

This was the perfect introduction to Medellin for us internationals. It was our first day and Alex was the best person for this tour as he worked well translating from Spanish to English for us. We loved the cable car ride, the statues we visited in the downtown Medellin center as well as our quick visit to Pueblito Paisa where we had some of the best ice cream we have ever had. All in all, an amazing day filled with amazing memories made.

Enjoyed the bus ride to the ecenter of the city. Had an opportunity to visit the contemporaray art gallery , featuring many Botero works.
Enjoyed traveling on the metro, plus the amazing cable car ride into the mountains, with a spectaculoar view of Medellin.We then visited a small recreated town at the top of a hill also in the center of the city.

Miguel did a great job. We saw main points of the city, rode a colorful bus, Cable car, metro and cab (all paid as part of the trip). Miguel gave us good amount of time at each stop (Botero square, publito paisa and barefoot park).
