Beautiful Madeira!

Our guide Justino was amazing. Madeira is spectacularly picturesque and the tour hit so many wonderful spots. The only thing to watch out for is how full the Land Rover can be and where you sit. Ours had 8 people plus the driver and we were second last pickup so that meant we were on benches in the back.

Incredible boat trip

What a beautiful trip! Being out on the boat for the morning was amazing, although chilly with the breeze - definitely take a jacket! We saw so many dolphins and later a turtle, sadly no whales (I'd really hoped). The views of Madeira as we sailed alongside were stunning and the captain was great at telling us all sorts of facts about the places on the coast. Absolutely recommend going!

Our Madeira Island tour was absolutely unforgettable, and Luis was truly magnificent. From the moment we started, his knowledge, energy, and passion for the island made the entire experience feel personal and special. He showed us breathtaking viewpoints, beautiful hidden spots, and shared so much about Madeira’s culture and history along the way. What really set Luis apart was his thoughtfulness. When he learned I was celebrating my birthday, he surprised me with a bottle of champagne to take on my hike the next day so I could toast at the top. That kind of personal touch meant so much and made the experience even more memorable. Luis went above and beyond in every way. If you’re planning a tour in Madeira, request him specifically. This was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. Highly recommended!

Well worth the money, our guide David was informative attentive funny and very professional. Saw far more of the island than we expected, lunch was delicious again worth the money although we were under the impression it was included in the price but it was only 20euros. Excellent tour - highly recommended!

This is a great tour - well worth the money! Paola our guide was excellent!!! Gave us lots of relevant information as we drove the routes which was great. We got to see so many parts of the island that we would never have seen or driven to. All of it was excellent - highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour!

What a great day with Silvio. Although the weather for our first stop was not ideal - cloudy, wet, windy and cold- the rest of the day more than made up for a bit of poor weather. This was one of the most fun activities that we have done. Silvio’s sense of humour was infectious and we had lots of fun with his insistence that he really had no licence!! The off roading was great!! Silvio’s knowledge of all the things growing on the island was amazing! The rum factory was a great stop as well. All the look-outs with the exception of the first did not disappoint. All in all a terrific day!

Toboggan and Skywalk in Maderia

Originally we were supposed to go on the Cable car and the Toboggan, but the cable car was closed for maintenance. Our guide took us on the Toboggan, then the Botanical gardens, then the Skywalk and finished the trip with a visit to a fishing village. We were extremely happy with th whole experience, it gave us a chance to see what a beautiful island Maderia is.

Joao is a wonderful very knowledgeable and smooth driver. The tour was fantastic. The time schedule was perfect. I enjoyed all the stops. Special mention for Ponta do Sol, Fanal forest, Porto Moniz and the poncha at Sao Vicente. I highly recommend this tour.

Good food and good fun!

Be sure not to eat before this tour! Our first stop felt like a full lunch and it was delicious. From there, the portions were smaller, but the flavors all had a big impact. It was a nice variety of foods and beverages. Jacqueline made it even better with her knowledge, stories and insider tips. Definitely worth your time!

Absolutely fantastic!

Could not recommend this experience any more! A fantastic tour of the island, stopping at all of the hot spots. Our driver was so friendly and easy to chat to - very knowledgeable about the island, I learnt a lot! There’s no better way to explore Madeira than on a jeep, the off-roading was so fun! A real highlight of my trip!
