I had a wonderful experience with Seaborn Cruises in Madeira. The crew was professional and friendly, making the trip enjoyable and comfortable. Varied seeing of creatures, couple of whales in the morning, then at least 3 different pods on the evening sailing.

Great morning activity - one of our highlights from our trip. We got to see loads of dolphins so close to the boat and a also a whale - a Bryde whale I believe. Nice views along the way and a refeshing swim in the sea. It was great to have the snack bar and toilets available.
Good crew nice catamaran!!! Trip is a bit long, we did see some dolphins but whales not a chance. Swimming area is nice but water is cold and refreshing
Remember to bring/wear your swimsuit! There was a great place to swim off the boat.

Sunset dolphin watching with an off shore swim was brilliant. Went out on the catamaran webbing deck to maximise the experience. Wet and wild!

The crew on the SeaBorn were excellent, very knowledgable and caring for the environment. A very pleasurable trip where we got to sea a good number of Atlantic Spotted Dolphins up close as well as seing the beautiful southern coastline of Madeira. Highly recommend this trip to anyone.
Staff were great and we were lucky enough to see Atlantic spotted dolphins. We went by the highest sea cliff in Europe and had the opportunity to jump off and swim. Absolutely worth the money! Thank you seaborn xx
Great trip! Captain & crew worked hard to find us whales and we saw three different species! They used binoculars and called other vessels- really making the effort for our trip. I loved the cruise closer to shore on the way back. Boat is large, stable and lots of room to spread out. Highly recommend.
We booked the morning trip, the catamaran is big with comfortable shaded benches. And nets above the waves to sit/lay on. Crew is very helpful. We saw a lot of dolphins around the boat after 30 minutes. The crew gives clear information about the species and circle around so everyone gets a good view.
Another 30 minutes later we saw some whales. Again good information and plenty of time to watch them swim near the boat. Drinks onboard are reasonably priced.
Smooth and sunny trip back to the harbour.
It was a great start but I was sea sick however kids enjoyed watching the dolphins and whales. It was good long 3 hours trip.

Need another layer of clothing as it is a bit colder out at sea(February)

Great way to see whales and dolphins in Madeira. We saw a pilot whale and a group of dolphins. The crew took pictures were excellent.

I got to book this excursion very last minute and thankfully it did not disappoint. We got to see sperm and pilot whales but not dolphins but that’s ok. I was visiting from Miami therefore not seeing dolphins was not a total bust and they can’t control wildlife to say the least so please keep an open mind. If you’re looking for a nice scenic trip with friends/family I definitely recommend this catamaran excursion. The crew was very nice, knowledgeable and I loved how they stopped the catamaran to remove plastic/garbage from the ocean that we saw along the way. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed :)
Seeing sealife is not guaranteed and the water can be choppy but it's a great experience. The swim at the end was lovely. Snorkeling equipment would have made swimming easier.

Such a great experience from start to finish. It wasn’t crowded, and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, which made everything even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and later had the chance to stop for a swim in the ocean.
There’s a bar on board where you can grab drinks, and a toilet available, which is convenient - though I’d recommend already wearing your swimsuit, as the toilet is quite small for changing comfortably.

We had a great time and unfortunately we didn’t see any wildlife during our tour. This can happen.
The sea was a bit rough so for those prone to travel sickness, you might want to take an anti sickness tablet beforehand, just in case. I have given it 4 stars as I would have booked with another tour company with the offer of another tour if you haven’t seen any marine wildlife had I looked at the T&Cs. Unfortunately Seaborn doesn’t provide that service. Many do so it’s worth considering when you book.
The boat wasn’t crowded, which we loved. We saw dolphins and whales up close—it was an unreal experience!

I was not well and contagious with a bad chest infection, as advised by a medical professional that I could put other passengers at risk If I went on the tour I decided not to attend, absolutely gutted as really looking forward to seeing the island. Anyway no refund or credit note given
Swimming in blue ocean and watching small whales. Plesant service on boat and great tasting poncho. It is all for now
