Great Churchill and sights of London Tour

Great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Personally holding great esteem for Churchill, I particularly enjoyed this tour. Brendan Quinn certainly knows his history and was able to convey further details of Churchill’s life that I loved tearing about. Very much enjoyed Churchill’s War rooms museum and the nearby sights of London. Palace of Westminster (Parliament buildings) and Big Ben have incredible architecture. A feast for the eyes. It was a fabulous morning.

Love Rabbies but this itinerary was not for us

This was my 5th tour with Rabbies! Their customer service has always been excellent and the small coach is always great and comfortable. I can never fault the company itself just that the itinerary did not suit our needs. We found that we needed so much more time to explore Oxford than the 2 hours. We definitely could have gone without the visit to the Cotswolds. They were very quick stops and I wish we had spent that time in Oxford. This tour is more like private transportation. It would’ve made more sense for us to take the train from London into Oxford for the day and done a walking tour. In my experience, the multi day tours are what Rabbies is excellent at! Their one day tours are so rushed but I imagine that would be the same with any other tour company on this schedule.

Our guide Niall was...

Our guide Niall was FANTASTIC! He was funny, knowledgeable, and a true foodie. Pretty much everything you could want from a food tour guide! The places we went were out of the way and felt like authentic London spots. Niall also showed us historic places along our route, which was a nice added bonus. All the food was great, we were honestly sad we booked this towards the end of our trip because we would have loved to revisit some of the spots we went! I cannot recommend Eating Europe, or Niall, enough! We will be booking with them during our next trip for sure. Highly recommend!

Great Tour

This tour was exactly what we expected. Our guide, Jenny, was absolutely lovely and did a fabulous job during our walking tour of Oxford. She made the bus rides enjoyable by sharing some info and providing info, but also giving us time to rest and enjoy the quiet. Catching the shuttle was easy and fast. We personally had enough time at the WB studio for the tour, which was fabulous for our 12yr old daughter.

My friend and I enjoyed...

My friend and I enjoyed the tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable. It was easy to meet up and we started at Westminster. She took us through the highlights of this ancient and venerable house of worship before it got too busy. She then made sure we got to Parliament with enough time before our tour to have a quick break. Worth the money. Would recommend.

Westminster Walking Tour

This tour was a great way to see some of the royal family and political sites in London. Ari was a fabulous guide who dealt with the rain and several hurdles (leaf blowers and noisy helicopter included) giving us great insides into London and its historical sites. What a beautiful day! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! We had such a great day exploring the cotswolds with our guide Rowen. Rowen was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and you can easily tell that she loves her job. She also made sure that everyone knew where they were going once we got back into town, and answered any questions that we had, including recommendations. We ended up going on Remembrance Sunday, so we had a lot of cool opportunities to see things that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. One of the towns ended up not being accessible because of road closures for the holiday, but our tour guide pivoted and took us to the Downton Abbey village instead- which we were excited about. I could have easily spent more time in the first two villages, but it was already a full day packed with lots of things to see, so I don’t feel like we missed out. This is a great opportunity to see outside of London!

Fantastic and enjoyable way to see London

Can highly recommend Fat Tire Company, very friendly, and the tour guide Lincoln was informative and fun. It was the highlight of our London trip. Our kids loved him and a subsequent souvenir teddy was named after him. Great routes through London, our 7 year old coped with it easily. Central London is more bike friendly than our home town.

Westminster Tour 10/25

Although the Parliament experience was unfortunately cancelled due to security issues, it was promptly reimbursed, which we appreciated. Thankfully, the Westminster Abbey tour more than made up for it—it was absolutely fabulous! The tour was organized with two guides and small groups of around 10 people, which made for a more personal and manageable experience. However, the gentleman we were initially assigned to was very difficult to understand. He mentioned he had just flown in from Italy and that his ears were clogged, which affected his ability to project his voice. Despite our group asking him to speak up, it didn’t improve much. I eventually approached the other guide and requested to switch groups, and she kindly agreed. She was exceptional—a wealth of knowledge, engaging, and passionate about the Abbey’s history. She truly made the tour come alive, and I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting. All in all, despite the hiccup at the start, the Westminster Abbey tour was a wonderful experience.
