Can highly recommend Fat Tire Company, very friendly, and the tour guide Lincoln was informative and fun. It was the highlight of our London trip. Our kids loved him and a subsequent souvenir teddy was named after him. Great routes through London, our 7 year old coped with it easily. Central London is more bike friendly than our home town.

Charlie O was our informative and highly entertaining guide. He shared a lot of British history in a very memorable way. We’ve been on a lot of bike tours and this one was the best. You’ll be lucky if you get Charlie as your guide.

Itinerary

Begin your small-group bike tour at a meeting point in Central London. Meet your guide and get fitted with a bike and helmet before setting off on a tour through the city.

Over the next several hours, enjoy picturesque urban and pastoral views as your guide takes you past renowned landmarks and through several of London’s Royal Parks. Visit Green Park, Hyde Park, and St. James's Park.

In between, cruise past many of the city's key attractions, including the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Your route leads directly past Westminster Abbey—the venue for every coronation since the 11th century and numerous royal weddings—and then on to Trafalgar Square.

During each leg of the tour, there's a chance to pause, ask questions of your guide, and snap memorable photos.

After several hours of sightseeing, your ride ends back at the starting point.

We had a LOVELY tour with Jamie. January is not too cold for a beautiful ride! My kids were able to retell many of the stories we heard afterwards (tap the barrel:) Jamie did a great job engaging them. I thought they were zoning out until we met up with other members of our group and they told details of every story. We brought some snacks, which I recommend if you're bringing kiddos. Biking was easy, and I kept thinking how many times I'd be stopping to look at maps if I tried it on my own. Highlights were cycling past Big Ben just as it chimed, riding behind the horse guards (perfectly timed), and those historical nuggets that are so engaging they help you remember the other bits as well. A great way for a family to cover a lot of ground. Highly recommend!

Great way to see London

The 3 hour Royal London tour was the perfect way to experience the city with our kids. The bikes were comfortable, the ride was fun and easy, we saw beautiful parks and important buildings, and heard great stories throughout. Charlie was fantastic and especially patient with our kids who asked 800 questions! Totally doable for our 8 and 10 year olds. Nice to have 1 kids bike and 1 tandem attached in case someone gets tired.

Very crowded London streets but the guide did a great job of navigating. Hyde park was nice and during the break I grabbed an Ice cream which was nice because I did this during the heat wave

This offer was priced great. However the instructions were lacking. The instructions stated that you had to go to a website to choose a time for the EYE! The website did not exist using my browser. After communicating back-and-forth through a text with Viator, it was suggested I use Google. It finally went through and then the website would not allow me to choose a time. I spent almost an hour on my phone, trying to figure out how to use this! Then when I got there, I just showed them the QR code and they said fine. All of that work for nothing! The ride was great and we were seated immediately even though there was a line on the other side. However, I sure wish I would have not read the directions as stated. They need to be clear that all you need. Is the QR code. Do not go to the website

Pretty fun way to start a trip to London

It was a great way to get an overview of the city. But the microphone really didn’t work so we couldn’t hear our guide well. And the tour made it sound like there would be a break in the gardens and we didn’t take one so it was a longer time than I would have chosen to ride if I had known there wouldn’t be a break.

Our guide, Hugo, and the Fat Tire Tour crew were awesome for my family of six. We had three regular bikes, one tandem, and one with a trolley and they were all excellent condition and very easy to ride. The Fat Tire crew helped set them up for us and we were ready to go very quickly. Hugo was an awesome tour guide, we loved learning all about different parts of London on the bike. It was clear bikes were the way to see it as it was clearly way easier than the poor people that were on foot! Highly recommended as your first London tour to familiarize yourselves quickly!

Great experience! I have booked several similar trips in other cities in Europe, and this was by far the best. Our guide Charlie was very knowledgeable and also shared stories out of the ordinary about the sights we were seeing. He was entertaining and helpful. The gentleman in the office that checked us in was also extremely friendly and gave us recommendations on other things to do after the tour. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour with a large group traveling with 12 year soccer boys. Our group was large but the company did a great job allowing us to go together (team bonding) which I am sure created a bigger headache for them. Great way for the boys to see some of the London highlights. Our guide Charlie and Hugo were awesome!!!

This tour was very leisurely. Very easy to bike on the streets and was enjoyable. Our guide didn’t stop at every advertised location and added some other stops that he liked. The tour takes about a hour lunch break in one of the parks, my wife and I didn’t feel the need to have a hour break as the tour was so leisurely. If you like to see all the sights and get around I would possibly recommend another tour. If you want a calm bike ride with tons of breaks and long lunch stops. This is great.

London Royal Parks Bike Tour with Lincoln

We had a great time on our bike tour through London. Our tour guide, Lincoln, was very informative and also entertaining as we stopped at various attractions. We would highly recommend booking a bike tour here and if possible, request Lincoln as your guide. London is a bit tricky to bike around with the crowds of people and traffic. However, I would happily bike with this tour company. The experience was educational and extremely enjoyable.

Family with baby & toddler

It was hard to find something to do as a family with a baby and a toddler but found this awesome bike tour that accommodated all our needs. We all enjoyed it and had a good time. We got to hear some quick and fun history while doing a family thing. The website was quick and easy to booked and Fat tires provided good directions way prior to the scheduled time.

I've always enjoyed bike tours around a new city and this was no exception. Fat tire tours were great and Lincon was a great guide. It was fun day out and as usual gave me list of things to do for future when I'm back again. e.g. Churchill's War Rooms
