The six hour tour was very complete and accommodating, we saw pretty much all the top sights, with a stop for lunch. Our guide was excellent, I’d book another with him because he was so friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for Paul Williams.

This is a great way to see the best of London in a day without a lot of walking. Paul new exactly were to go to get the best views of everyrhing significant in London. Paul was also very flexible, if there was something we did or did not want to do, he accomodated us.

Paul is an excellent tour guide. Very informative, skilled at determining your interests and providing the experience that is best for you. He is superbly knowledgeable and personable. This is the best tour I have ever taken out of many. Well worth the time and money. We did the tour on our first day to get an overview of London and to help decide what to explore more fully.

Wow! What a fabulous day! It started with Paul picking me up at my hotel right on time. He talked to me about what I was interested in, and then we started our day. His beautiful black cab was impeccably clean, as were the windows. That’s really important when you are driving by things you want to snap a picture of but don’t want to get out! He also had water available, and big umbrellas, just in case! Paul was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, and made the tour very enjoyable. We stopped at so many places..the Abbey Road crosswalk, St. James and Buckingham Palaces, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Big Ben, Parliament, St. Paul’s and Westminster Abbey and so much more! And for my girlies who are traveling solo, Paul was so kind and gentlemanly, and took many pictures for me with my phone! Now I have a lovely pictorial collection from my time in London instead of every picture of me being a selfie! I really can’t say enough about how professional and personable Paul is. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. It’s the best six hours you will spend in London!

We booked a private black cab tour with Paul from Capital City Tours London, and it was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip! Paul was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and funny — his passion for London’s history made every stop come alive.
From Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard, to visiting the royal outfitters and tasting the famous Ginger Lemon Liqueur once favored by the early royal motorists — every moment was memorable.

We knew even before our trip that we wanted Paul Williams to do our tour of London! After reading the reviews and with only one day available to tour around it had to be Paul! And was that the best decision we made on the trip!!
Paul communicated with us in advance prior to the trip to confirm he was available, which was fantastic. We spent 6 hours touring around London, we left the itinerary in his hands and he brought us to see all of London's greatest hits along with places we'd never heard of and would never have found ourselves! He is so knowledgeable and shares wonderful stories and anecdotes. So many that we continue to share and regale to our friends! He is kind and thoughtful and wanted us to have the best time, he took so many family photos, how amazing to have everyone in the photo at one time! We loved that he knew the times that events were going to happen and structured the tour so we got there at the perfect time and placed us for a perfect view. His inside knowledge was so helpful and allowed us to have an efficient tour, with no time wasted! He also knows everyone! All the places we went business owner to other guides shook his hand with a warm hello, which says a lot about his reputation. Whether it's your first time or 10th time in London, he is the best and we can't wait to return for more adventures! Thank you Paul for your generous spirit, knowledge of this wonderful city and kindness, we will never forget it!

Our taxi sightseeing tour was amazing! This tour is so convenient with hotel pickup. Our driver, Keith, artived promptly on time, was extremely knowledgeable about the city, and took us to many places that we would have never found on our own in London. The taxi was impeccably clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely flawless from start to finish! Paul was wonderful and patient with my two girls (12 & 9). My oldest has a physical disability which makes walking long distances a challenge. Paul was sensitive to her issues and got us front and center to all the premium spots. A real gem and overall fantastic experience!

He went over and above our expectations... even going as far as to call me on the phone so I could actually talk in the iconic red phone booth by Kensington Palace. Paul warmly greeted us at our hotel. He quickly adjusted our schedule to accommodate an unusual traffic problem in the area. We found ourselves positioned perfectly for a view of the changing of the guards! We really enjoyed his personalization of the local businesses etc throughout the day. Paul was very attuned to our needs and willingly adjusted / offered to make any changes we wanted. We found this an excellent preview to our stay in London.

What a wonderful day with a very friendly and personable tour guide. Paul had a perfectly organized tour at our own pace to see all the best sights in London and a few secret ones I doubt would be included on other tours. The whole tour was in an imaculately kept roomy historical black London cab. Paul also kept us entertained and amused with all his historical and sometimes funny facts about word and phrase origins we use in the English language but never knew where they came from. And we fact-checked the wildest or funniest ones and he was always spot on! This tour was definitely worth every penny and quite enjoyable.

My teenage son and I had a wonderful day with Paul. He knows his way around London and was very fun and informative. Paul made an effort to show us sites we were interested in, London highlights and hidden gems. I left my charger in his cab and he brought it back to the hotel and left it at the front desk (thanks).
