Incredible Tour, But Not for the Faint-Hearted (or Unfit)
This tour was one of the most powerful and memorable experiences of our trip to Poland. Visiting the concentration camps was incredibly emotional and confronting, but also deeply important. The guides handled the history with great respect and knowledge, allowing time to reflect while ensuring we truly understood the significance of what we were seeing. It’s not an easy experience, but it’s one I believe everyone should have at least once. In contrast, the visit to the salt mines was fascinating and almost surreal. The sheer scale of the underground chambers, intricate carvings, and chapels carved entirely from salt were absolutely breathtaking. It was a perfect balance to the heaviness of the earlier part of the day. The tour was very well organised, transport was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. A long day, but incredibly worthwhile. That said, be prepared—it involves a lot of walking at both sites. The descent into the salt mine is quite full-on, with a significant number of steps. If your fitness level isn’t great, I wouldn’t recommend doing both in the same tour, as it can be quite physically demanding. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Poland’s history and culture.

A really great trip!
We looked at lots of different trips to Auschwitz before booking this one, I'm glad we found it. Great service, picked up and dropped off outside our apartment (even though it wasn't on the list). Friendly driver, nice and clean van/mini bus. A very moving experience in Auschwitz, one that we have wanted to do for quite some time. Was easy when you get there, driver takes you to meet the guide and is waiting for you afterwards. Then driven to the second camp for another tour. Won't forget it in a hurry! There's alot of walking to do, I was very glad the weather was really good. Would definitely recommend this tour!

From Mountain Air to Steaming Waters: A Zakopane & Thermal Pools Review
We were picked up promptly from the collection point and began our journey to Zakopane. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely breathtaking. The scenery is stunning, and Zakopane itself is a truly beautiful place. On the way, we stopped to see the traditional 16th‑century wooden houses, which was fascinating to learn about and amazing to see still standing and in use today. It really added to the authenticity of the trip. Ending the day at the thermal pools was the perfect way to relax and unwind — a real highlight and exactly what we needed after a full day of exploring. Our guide, Lara, was excellent: very knowledgeable, well organised, and always gave clear instructions, which made the whole day run smoothly and stress‑free. A must‑see experience and worth every penny. We travelled as 2 adults and 1 child and would highly recommend this tour to families as well.

Erik, thank you for an incredible day
incredible ERIK is the man of the day, a little bump because the oskepyk hut was closed but he saved it found a new place, kept us entertained, have never had a tour guide that was more engaging and charismatic. Genuinely wouldn’t have been half as good without him

Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
