Lots of effort put into this, and organized. Tough subject. But covered objectively, with facts. We went in 33 degree heat and the tour guide was very professional, and seemed unbothered by it.

Everybody should Go and See this place once in their Lifetime. Our Guide was great and the Tour well organized.

Basic knowledge about WW II and german concentration camps is necessary to „feel“ it in the right way.

We where collected on time from the pickup point, this was my second visit to Auschwitz and the modernisation to some of the blocks was very noticeable.
Fredrik_R, Mar 2026
It was likely a well-organized guided tour, but late in the evening before our scheduled departure, we received a call informing us that the English-language tour had been cancelled and that German was the only available option. As a result, we spent four hours on the tour without understanding any of the information provided.
They are quick to respond to emails; however, this offers little reassurance when no alternative solutions are available.

The guide is key and our guide was fantastic. H spoke clearly and did not get overely emotional but yet his delivery was heart felt.

I booked this tour and was very worried as I had seen online multiple negative experiences with tour operators that tickets are not guaranteed etc and you may have to queue on arrival and then be turned away. This was not the case. We we collected in a small shared car on time. Our driver was very friendly and informed us of the order of events. We met an English tour guide who explained everything with interesting facts and answer any questions. It was very well organised and we were so well looked after. Tickets had already been purchased ahead of time. You must visit !!!

Informative, historical makes us realize the sufferings of the Jews hard to imagine. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable.
However, the bus ride experience was not comfortable at all, when the aircon of our mini bus worked only for front seaters while the rest of passengers were sweating from heat. The 3 hours drive back and forth with sweating backs made many of us sick. Our whole vacation in Krakow was partly ruined when many of us got the coughing bug . Exhausted due to coughing bouts..

The fact I messed up thinking transport was included sorted out by Micheal at 10pm the night before. Great service
Driver was superb and the guide unbelievable and such knowledge and empathy for the place

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Krakow. We went mid week so less crowds. We were picked up and dropped back to our hotel by Michael. He took care of everything we needed. We had a guided tour room and both Auschwitz and Birkenau.
A must trip to do.

I was kept informed by WhatsApp on the lead up to the trip. Unfortunately our taxi dropped us at the wrong meeting point. I called the tour operator and was told not to worry, the guied would come to us. The tour guide had lots of knowledge and was happy to answer any questions.

Very knowledgeable tour guide. We really liked her, and unlike some other tours, you get headphones and she speaks into a microphone so you could hear everything. Unfortunately, the tour company reserve the right to change the time of the tour, which they did with us. It started 2 hours later than we had originally booked for, and we had something work-related later in the day that couldn’t be rescheduled, so we had to leave the tour early, missing all of the Birkenau part.

Attention! Don't book a tour at Royal Tours. The company changes the visiting hours at short notice and after the cancellation period has expired on Viator. Unfortunately, our visit to the historical monument was cancelled as a result, because this is 1.) too short-term and the journey is not possible 2.) you search for the company on Google Maps quickly find out that there is a system behind it and 3.) none of the statements made on Viator coincide with that of the company. Simply put, it's fraud.

Wow, from start to finish. After a computer glitch let me book the tour and pay the company reached out and apologized and asked to switch the day, which unfortunately due to scheduling would not work. They figured out a way to make it work and I'm so thankful they did. Very communicative through the whole process. The tour of Auschwitz itself was extremely moving. Tour was well organized, transportation was great, group was perfect size.

So much to see. Definately will leave an impact on you. Lots Of walking involved, wear flat shoes as uneven ground.

The driver was great. Being at the camp was an experience. However, I paid $60 USD and we could not hear the tour guide. She was a little old lady who spoke very quietly. When the other people asked her to speak up she said she couldn't and could only give out a pamphlet on where to go to get more information at the end. I would not recommend you book with this company. They need headphones and a guide that can speak louder so everyone can hear. The price I paid was not worth it as I did not get here anything from the tour guide.

Excellent. Would definitely recommend. Organised and informative. Can’t stop thinking about it. Everyone should visit this place so no one ever forgets the atrocities that happened there

Very good guide who explained everything very well. We had booked this tour because of time but day before the tour was suddenly brought forward from 10:00 to 05:45!!! Really ridiculous. Afterwards it was okay but gave a set on the tour. Furthermore good mini of with enough legroom.

Perfect end to end.
Top organization. Another app cancelled our visit at the last moment. Luckily Viator was able to offer us a visit to the top.

Very interesting to see. Good organization since collection at a meeting point, transportation and visit of the 2 sites.
However, the guide in French was not very loquacious: no dialogue with the public, answered no questions (he only debited his comments). Too important a group, the guide did not wait for everyone to be there to start his explanations.

Extremely interesting visit, with a French Guide, equipped with a microphone, and we wore a headset so we could hear throughout the visit to Auschwitz
And then, without equipment in Birkenau, but since there were far fewer people, we could follow the explanations.
The tour operator asked us the day before, if it was possible to go to the meeting point at 6am, instead of 10am.
Arriving at the meeting point, there were a lot of people and buses so a little difficult to get there. But the drivers have the lists of passengers they should welcome on their bus, so you have to be careful , because everyone lists their list.
We were afraid of being very cold, but the visit to Auschwitz happens a lot in the heated buildings. It lasts two hours.
And Birkenau, it only lasts an hour, and the majority is outside.

Very well organized by Viator. We arrived just as the bus was leaving because we were stuck on the road, and qqn waited for us to join the group

Guide on site at the top.
The only negative point is that the site offers a pick-up at the hotel and the day before we are asked to go on our own to a meeting point common to the whole group.

Transportation nothing to say. The sights are to be seen. On the other hand on the visit, I remain mixed.....the guide nothing to say but I remain....barely time to go to the toilet, 15 min to eat and at 3 pm in addition.....

The tour is quite complete although I feel that they skip some locations that according to the official guide of the place are important.

Vocês me informaram que iriam nos pegar no hotel. Não buscaram e trocaram o horário do início da excursão.
