What are people saying about Krakow

An incredibly moving experience.
Lukas’s was incredibly knowledgeable. He was so available to answer all of our questions.
Walking through the gates, entering the blocks, looking at all of the belongings of the men, women, and children - as well as seeing their remains really brought home the enormity of what happened in that place
The entire experience was incredibly moving and impactful . I believe everyone needs to come to this place.

A powerful experience bearing witness to a horror
Well organised from the time of first booking, to pick up on the day and drop off at the end of the vist. Communication was clear as the day of the visit approached. Be prepared for an early start. Our 8.30 am booking became a pick up time of 5.40 am. One advantage was that we were back in Krakow for lunchtime. The guide was very knowledgeable. The exhibits are confronting but it's important that we bear witness to the horror lest it is forgotten. Be prepared for a long and fast paced walk at Birkenau. The scale of the site is breathtaking.

Highly recommend this...
Highly recommend this experience. We had a wonderful tour guide in Auschwitz who provided us with insightful and thorough information.
Saw both concentration camps by noon, had lunch, and then went to the salt mines. The tour went smoothly, even for an 82 year old family member. He was able to descend the stairs without issue and walk the longer distances required at the end of the tour. We didn’t feel rushed during any part of our day. Again, we highly recommend this tour!

100% recommend
Really good day trip. We had Kacper as our guide and he was really good. Beautiful scenery in that part of Poland and the stops were all really worthwhile - I especially enjoyed the vodka before 11am! Good value for money and the organisation was really good - all the required passes and wristbands were provided. Beware. - there are loads of these trips advertised and not all include entry to the cable car and springs - book carefully. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested. Hope you get Kacper as your guide!

A long day but a great day!!!
We absolutely loved going into Zakopane and spending time at the thermal baths. It was a great break in all of our travels to sit and relax. The cheese and vodka stop I could do without out. And honestly the little town stop too I could do without. It would have been really nice to go straight to Zakopane and then to the baths only but we thoroughly enjoyed this day!!!

Fascinating
Pick up was prompt. First stop were the salt mines. The salt mine tour is unbelievable. It is huge. Over 852 steps to go down but worth everyone of them.
Both the prison camps are fascinating. It brings home how the Jews suffered. Sad but very educational.

Highly Recommend Tour!!!
This experience was exceptional! The driver, Michael, was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The van ride was pleasant to Auschwitz. The guide, Kasia, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very memorable and efficient with the both sites. We highly recommend this tour!

Great tour for our Group
Our Catholic pilgrimage had an itinerary change and were not going to be going to Auschwitz after all, so we booked this for our free afternoon/evening. It was very convenient to be picked up at the hotel & the price was reasonable. Our guide at the camps was very informative and we really felt like we learned new information from him.

This was a long day but...
This was a long day but well worth it. This tour is extremely moving and upsetting. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and was able to ensure the day ran smoothly. The tour visited the salt mines first and then to Auschwitz, which was a change to what was originally booked. Be a little flexible and it this trip as the Auschwitz museum dictates your times of entry. make sure you bring photographic ID as this is checked in entry.

Stairs were down. Site was beautiful.
The mine was educational, artistic, and beautiful. All but approximately 10 steps were going down. The floors were not slick. However, it definitely is a lot of walking. The guide was very good. It was great getting picked up in front of our hotel. The driver was very nice.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
