Wear comfortable shoes. Although the bus takes tourists to designated places, there is a lot of walking, and expect huge crowds. Be mindful of the allotted time for shopping and sightseeing because you don't want to miss the tour bus.

Take tour on a clear day.

Our tour guide was great. Unfortunately the weather was terrible the day I took the tour. We could not see Mt. Fuji because of the fog and the snowy conditions. On the cable cars most of the time we couldn’t even see the ground through the rain and fog. On a clear day the view would have been breathtaking! If the weather is bad, wait before booking.
