Fun, quick excursion

Very fun experience. It’s short but it’s perfect for a quick getaway that doesn’t take up the whole day. Was out by breakfast time and back by lunch. It’s not a crazy ATV tour, if you’re not interested in culture, don’t do this. I was hesitant at first, but this tour was great. The people were very well organized. Gilbert was informative. I wish I remembered everyone else’s name. The food at the end was amazing (and I am not vegan/vegetarian).

Our adventure began when our driver picked us up from our resort. He regaled us with tales of famous landmarks, historical facts, and even showed us where the legendary athlete Husain Bolt attended school! We also had the chance to chat with a remarkable 107-year-old woman who lived in the countryside. Upon arriving in Trelawny, the starting point of our journey, we were warmly welcomed by Eve, an exceptional host who ensured we were all prepared for the road ahead. Eve and her team took the time to make us comfortable on our ATVs and provided us with valuable riding lessons, including turns and stops. As we set off, we were accompanied by two knowledgeable tour guides, one at the front and the other at the back. We were treated to a breathtaking view of diverse wildlife and had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a few friendly cows and goats. Throughout our journey, we stopped at various points to interact with locals. One such stop was with a woman who lived off the land and raised a variety of animals. She expressed her deep love for a simple, self-sufficient lifestyle. We also visited a river with crystal-clear, drinkable water. To quench our thirst, we opted for fresh coconut water, which was expertly prepared by a local who had freshly cut coconuts for us. However, be sure to bring your own straw, as they are not provided. Remember, we’re in the jungle! Overall, our adventure was an unforgettable experience, and I’m already planning to book the same excursion on my next visit to Jamaica!

If you want to o have an amazing experience, filled with amazing people you need to book here. The service was great from start to finish. Check in was simple and easy and our instructors for Zip line Andre and Rayshien are the best. We laughed the entire time and felt completely comfortable, safe, and confident during the activity! Our atv instructor was just as amazing, he was patient with those of us who couldn't get a proper handle of the atv ( my kids) and during our break gave us some fun facts about the plant life in the are. After our activities we had a complimentary lunch that hit that spot. Then we headed to ricks cafe for drinks and live entertainment and had a great time there as well.

So much fun! it was a...

So much fun! it was a little confusing getting there, but when we got to the location, everybody was super accommodating and really friendly. My friends and I had a great time and we got a bunch of bottles of the rum do you and got to play our own music. they let you set the pace of the tour and spend however long you want to at each spot. the river is beautiful and we were able to jump in whenever we wanted. Shoutout Bobby.

My sister and I recently did the Bamboo Rafting & Limestone Massage experience at Great River in Lethe District, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica! The experience was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was because of our raft captain, Jerome. From the moment we arrived, Jerome was professional, polite, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable right away and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the entire experience. His customer service was exceptional, and he truly went above and beyond to make our rafting trip memorable. Not only was Jerome an excellent raft captain, but he also gave one of the best limestone leg and foot massages! The massage was relaxing, refreshing, and exactly what we needed while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the river. On top of that, Jerome kept us laughing the entire time. His personality, sense of humor, and positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out most was how attentive and accommodating he was. He made sure we were comfortable, answered our questions, shared information about the area, and created a fun, laid-back atmosphere that made us feel like we were spending time with a friend rather than just a tour guide. If you’re planning to do bamboo rafting at Great River in Lethe District, I highly recommend requesting Jerome specifically as your raft captain. Trust me—it makes a difference! I booked the Blue Hole and Bamboo Rafting tour with Omar Tours Jamaica after finding them on Viator. Since the cruise line didn’t offer bamboo rafting, I decided to book with Omar based on the great reviews, and I’m glad I did! Communication was excellent from start to finish. I received confirmation through Viator and WhatsApp, which made everything easy while on the cruise. They were waiting for us right at the port, so there was no need to venture away looking for transportation. Our driver and host were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The air-conditioned van was comfortable, and we felt safe traveling with other cruise passengers. The Blue Hole was amazing, and the team made sure we were connected with trusted guides at every stop. During bamboo rafting, they stayed with our belongings and kept everything secure in the van. They even stopped for delicious local Jamaican food and made sure we returned to the port with plenty of time before departure. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would definitely book with Omar Tours Jamaica again!

Eye Candy

I had 2 fabulous host for this adventure. My horse ride host was Crocs. He was polite, professional and never begged for a tip during the tour. However the only negative aspect was the photos that I received from the photographer. They were not edited or touched up as promised. The shots were horrible and off centered. Crocs took better photos to capture the moment with my cell phone than the 300 horrible photos I received from the photographer. The bamboo river rafting could have been a longer ride. However my host was Flowers. He was the "eye candy" of the day. He was an entire vibe by himself. He was professional, entertaining and protective when he docked near the shops to give us a massage. He did not allow the shop merchants to disturb us until our massages were completed. Flowers was very composed during the massage. He did not rush the process. He was tender with his attention to our massage & relaxation. Thanks to Flowers and Crocs! When I return to Ocho Rios I will book the same tour again.

Unforgettable

Hands down this everything and more except Ricks cafe the when I say everyone was awesome from top to bottom we got to do a lot of firsts and this was unforgettable viator does severely overcharge for these experiences Ricks cafe was over hyped service and food were trash to be so over priced . We were told 6 items were not available from the menu . Did not get enjoy because it was raining .
