An absolute must do. Great way to see this beautiful country and the amazing folks that live here. Andre and Sevon were amazing and the tour allowed us the chance to spend some time at sports day with the early childhood school. Views were incredible, food was delicious, swimming in the crystal clear river was a core memory. I cannot recommend this tour enough- my girls learned so much about the Jamaican culture today and we were welcomed with love and happiness. A must do and we will be back to do it again!

We loved our experience on the RastaSafari. Our guides, Tasha, Gilbert, and Skello were amazing and full of knowledge about the Roaring River land, agriculture, and community.
The offroading was fun and took us around over 300 acres of gorgeous landscape, surrounded by hills and a pristine river. We made a handful of stops along the way at a local bar, artisan shop, ganja farm, and had a swim in the nearby water - cold but so refreshing towards the end of our ride.
The tour concluded with a delicious vegan meal. We feel honored to have had the opportunity go on the RastaSafari.

What an immerse voyage into Rastafarian culture! Our two guides, Ali and Skello provided an outstanding tour and explanation of Rastafarian culture and their beliefs on the ecology. We got to see the Westmoreland River up close and personal along with a ganja farm! Best of all, we got to drive ourselves in the ATV!

You really see the true Jamaican culture as you’re traveling to the site. Owen the driver was more of a tour guide, he was exceptional and would give great detail on certain things when we passed through it. He also took us to seven mile beach and ricks cafe on the ride back to the resort! I would definitely recommend and I would do it again once coming back

This is an amazing tour! Wonderful guides, great way to experience community life in Jamaica. Only drawback to the trip was the minivan had an extremely uncomfortable back seat which made the ride to and from the excursion hard to take. We had a fantastic time and lots lots of good memories of the tour itself and the wonderful people.

This was a wonderful day in real life Jamaica. It is amazing and always awesome at what nature can do in such a short time. Seeing the devastation and then already regrowing. And the fun, loving, strong Jamaicans working their way back!

My husband, son and I really enjoyed our experience. Jenieve picked us up on time. She was friendly and answered any questions we had. We were greeted upon arrival with welcome shots and given information about various plants and fruits and their medicinal purposes. Our guides, Daniel and Keneil, were wonderful. They took time to educate us on the island and various customs. The locals were welcoming and friendly. We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. If we didn’t want to buy anything we just said no thank you and moved on. The vegetarian lunch was great and so was our ride back to the hotel.

It was amazing! The land, the people, the culture the history, everything! Remember to bring durable shoes to walk around in and possibly a light raincoat or parka incase it rains. Daniel and Kriss were absolutely fantastic! Make sure to ask for them when you do the tour!

What an amazing day ! Jenieve was my driver- she was so lovely and I was shown around by Clint and Nick. Such a great and worth it experience, the ATV drive was fun with spots along the way to engage in a few different activities/talks. Also includes a tasty lunch ! Everyone was super friendly and I’d definitely recommend if you want a Jamaican cultural experience!!

The staff at Rastasafari are so knowledgeable and fun. We had a great experience going through the towns and learning about Jamaican culture and daily life. Swimming in the wading pool was refreshing.

This experience was a great time; I am so glad that we booked it. Not only did it get us out into the countryside to try something new, the actual ATV ride was excellent. It was a lot of fun to be able to ride them autonomously without too much restriction. While we did stay in between two guides, it was safe and fun at the same time.
The trip began with the pickup driver who was a kind gentleman by the name of Clinton. He was prompt and knew a lot about the area; he had some interesting and funny things to say. He took us to an ATM where he kept a close eye on us and asked some people to leave us alone who were asking for a “donation”. We then took the moderately long trip to the ATV site.
We were welcomed by a friendly guy, who handed us off to Alicia and Fred; they took a few pictures and told us about the farm as we walked up to the ATV area where we could use the bathroom and were given a bottle of water. Alicia and Fred were kind and informative. We then met our guides; Nick and Bigger. They were personable and overall cool guys who knew a lot about the area and enjoyable to talk to. We rode for a while before making a stop to chat and take some pictures; they explained about the limestone in the area, the sugar cane and the trees. We rode a bit longer through some neighborhoods and some farms, stopped off at The Roaring River for a swim where we were able to swim with locals and had fresh coconuts that our guides had brought for us.
The trip winded down and we ended back where we started where we were served a good meal at a small outdoor dining area and we were then escorted back by Alicia and Fred. Our driver was already waiting to take us back directly to our hotel.
The whole experience was excellent and I totally recommend it.

A great day with our new family at Rastasafari. From the minute our driver Dean picked us up you feel welcomed and comfortable. When we arrived at the location you will be greeted with love. Our personal guide Ali was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable of the land and gifts nature gives us. He was extremely attentive and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. If you are looking for a comfortable and safe way to experience a beautiful culture this is the way to go. I and I
One love

This experience was AMAZING! My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the service, hospitality, and kindness of everyone we came across. Our driver Jenieve set up the ambience by playing upbeat Jamaican music the whole time and led us to the beginning of our excursion, where we met Bobby who provided us a delicious cocktail and were led by Ella - who took some very cute pictures of us - to the main event. Then we met Nick and Shevon who were simply fabulous the entire time. They made my husband feel comfortable with understanding the vehicle and did a great job of guiding him while I relaxed and enjoyed the views. They brought us to a beautiful river in a quaint part of town where we were offered the opportunity to do some diving and swimming. There we got some snacks and beverages, mingled with the other visitors, and purchased a beautiful dress that the employee threw in a free bracelet with! We also got to try some samples of different concoctions and see the wildlife as well as the plant life of Jamaica. Then we had the most scrumptious vegan meal I’ve EVER had in my entire life and finally got to go back to the resort. Overall this was a wonderful time that we would absolutely recommend to anyone who comes to Westmoreland. Thank you to RastaSafari for providing us with such a fun first excursion during our time here!

Super fun! Wear swim wear and fits shoes to hike a bit. You will likely get dirty riding the atvs. Nice combination of walking, swimming, riding and eating. A great taste of Jamaica outside of the resort life.
Christopher_M, Aug 2025
Rally great! Unique experience everyone so friendly and learned a lot about the country and local community!
Paula_M, Jul 2025
They pick you up from your hotel or resort and safely get you to Rasafari area. From there you are greeted with a welcome drink and it’s off to the ATV location a small hike away. Please wear closed toe shoes. Once you arrive to the ATV location your 2 new guides get you safely strapped inside and a quick lesson on how to operate it. The stops along the way are great especially the water stop. You receive a light vegan lunch at the end of the tour.

We had a great time! The tour was very educational but fun at the same time. Our guides were great and very knowledgeable.
Tyshika_B, Jul 2025
Complete fun from beginning to end!! All of the hosts and guides was so nice and very informative! Not only seeing but actually being involved in Jamaican culture made this trip worth it! I’d definitely recommend! I can’t wait to come back!

Gilly was the absolute best! I called him George the entire excursion and the lady at the end was like George who; do you mean Gilly? He took us deep into the village on a Sunday on the west side where locals gathered and jumped the bridge into the mineral waters. The DJ was out, lovers, families, food and drinks…. We spent hours there just hanging with the locals and learning more about them and their culture. I asked him not to take us along the regular tour route but to where his family and friends would be. I felt safe and the vibe was awesome! I’ll be back soon!!!
