Great Local Food Tour
This was a great tour. Our tour guide was Thomson who is a foodie who knew all the ins and outs of great local food in HaNoi. He met us at the hotel and we tried food at 4 different places. The food we ate was wonderful, but Thomson also gave us a great tour about the history of the area and a better understanding of local customs.

One of our favorite experiences ever!
We absolutely LOVED this experience! Phil was so kind and knowledgeable, and we learned a ton of history along with how to make 6 different types of coffee. Everything was thoughtfully and beautifully presented, and interactive and fun! The 3 hours flew by so quick! We would highly recommend this experience to everyone :)

A really fun way to spend an afternoon in Hanoi
The coffee making class was so interesting and fun, and a lot of it has to do with our tourguide Piey. She was so easy to talk to and really informative. The groups are decend sized and you really get hands on experience how to make viet coffee. Just a little heads up for people who are not coffee lovers, by the end of the class you will hear colours :)

100% yes.
The tour guide was really friendly and kind. That makes a big difference when you are in a country where most people don’t speak your language. The tour bike was the right length. I loved all the stops and the fabulous bike ride - we saw Honoi from an ankle you can’t get on foot or car. Highly recommended.

Well worth it!
Bella combined exceptional knowledge of Vietnamese coffee production and history with a fun, patient teaching style that made the whole experience so engaging. The actual coffee making was so much fun, and the results were delicious. Definitely a highlight of our time in Hanoi.

Beware of Scammers, prebook a driver
Be aware of scammers trying to get you to go with them. I arrived at Hanoi Airport alone and there were many Vietnamese holding signs for visitors. I was told that the driver would be waiting outside, so when I went outside I was greeted by a well presented Vietnamese who took my suitcase and asked me to hurry. I asked him how he knew who I was, but he just kept telling me to hurry. Thinking he was illegally parked, I hurried after him. Unsure of who he was, 3 times I asked him what hotel I was going to but he never answered me. He insisted that I buy a SIM card, to which I replied I didn’t want one. After he kept insisting that I buy a SIM card, I said that he wasn’t my driver and that I had already booked. With that he ran off. I finally found my driver holding my name. He got me safely to my hotel. Pays to book ahead and ensure you only go with the driver holding a sign with your name.
