We had such an absolute blast on this tour with our guide Louis and the trainee Oggy! I was the one riding on the scooter, and honestly, Oggy was the absolute best person I could have ever asked for. He kept the energy so high, cracked jokes the entire time, and by the end of the trip, he seriously felt like a younger brother to me.On top of the great company, the food they took us to get was excellent—so delicious and authentic. The actual drive was super comfy, smooth, and well-paced. The weather was honestly pretty annoying and less than ideal, but the guys made the experience so fun that we barely even cared about the rain. If you get a chance to book this, definitely ask for Louis and Oggy!

Cooking up a storm in Hanoi

I had such a fantastic experience today at UP Apron Cookery School in Hanoi. I attended the 9 a.m. cooking class where we learned how to make five traditional Vietnamese dishes, and it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam. The whole experience was incredibly well organized and very hands-on from start to finish. We began with a visit to the local market where our instructor explained the different ingredients and showed us how food is sourced locally in Vietnam. It gave us a real insight into Vietnamese food culture and daily life. Back at the cooking school, we prepared and cooked all of the dishes ourselves, which made the experience both fun and educational. Our instructor was excellent - patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole class really enjoyable for everyone. One of the best parts was sitting down together at the end of the class to enjoy the beautiful Vietnamese meal we had all cooked as a group. Everything tasted amazing, and it was such a lovely atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this cooking experience to anybody visiting Hanoi who wants to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine in a fun and authentic way. Five stars!

We did the trip on the 2nd day after landing in Hanoi. It offered a great glimpse of what to expect since the tour covered all major places of visit. The lunch was excellent and filling. The also offers a drink at a nice cafe in train street and a local sweet from the place it is made. You experience all the bylanes, a little bit of history and local life in the four hour journey. This was a great tour. Our tour guide was Thomson who is a foodie who knew all the ins and outs of great local food in HaNoi. He met us at the hotel and we tried food at 4 different places. The food we ate was wonderful, but Thomson also gave us a great tour about the history of the area and a better understanding of local customs.
