Excellent relaxing tour of Sapa traditional village
Our tour guide was Ya and she was fantastic, full of energy, and a lovely personality. Our family of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The sceneries were great. It was nice to walk through a traditional village and then relax with a drink at a picturesque setting while getting a foot soak. We booked the wrong date within 24 hours with Viator so there was nothing Viator could do to change the date, but luckily the tour provider was able to reschedule us to our correct date. We’re very thankful for that.

I had a great time on...
I had a great time on this trip, the walks were beautiful! May was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the local area, she kept us informed with the plan and buses etc. and kept a good pace on the treks so we were not getting tired. The homestay was comfortable and the food was good, be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks.

Climb up Fansipan
Our guide was excellent. It was a tough climb up but he was very patient with us and didn't push us to go quicker at any time. We decided to get the cable car down (only approx 10-15% of people have the energy to walk down as well, though the cable car costs approx $45 AUD per person so make sure you take a way to pay with you). Our guide spoke excellent English and we had chats throughout the day. Hotel pickup was smooth and the lunch (bahn mi or noodles) provided by our guide and eaten towards the top of the mountain was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend but you must have a good level of fitness of tackle it, bearing in mind you climb from approx 2000m above sea level to over 3000m so the altitude can also effect your capacity. Highly recommend.

Amazing tour with Lucas!
Amazing experience in Sapa! Lucas was an amazing guide, very friendly, professional, and made the whole day enjoyable. The motorbike ride through the rice fields, villages, and waterfalls was beautiful and exciting. Lucas shared local knowledge and made us feel safe the entire time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sapa!

Sapa tours tend to focus on hikes, homestays, and total cultural immersion in the misty mountain gem of northern Vietnam. Spend days trekking through emerald rice paddies and charming villages, stopping to cook and share lunch with welcoming local host families. For the more adventurous, private treks offer the chance to conquer Mount Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina,” guided by knowledgeable locals who share stories about the region’s deep history. While these ascents may be challenging, the breathtaking summit vistas make them well worth the effort.
