We booked just a hour & half in advance. Had such good fun, market trip to get fresh fish . Chi (Daisy) was a really good laugh. fun way to learn Vietnamese too, Cookery was good & thx food we made was yummy . Do not eat before your lesson. ! Highly recommend as a Hanoi experience ,,we made fish , Pho & chicken .

We took an authentic Vietnamese cooking class at Hoàng Restaurant in Hanoi. Our menu was fresh green mango salad with shrimp; Hanoi style fresh spring rolls; and stir fried chicken with peppers, lemon grass and chopped cashew nuts. It was delicious - we are great chefs (lol) thanks to Dragon our master chef and Daisy our instructional hostess. We had lots of laughs, at our own expense, and fun. Some of our julienne cut veggies weren’t julienne cut (Daisy called them fat ladies) 😁🤪

Laura and Love were excellent teachers of Vietnamese cuisin. We cooked spring rolls, Pho and cashew chicken. Highly recomend if you are looking to learn more about Vietnamese food culture

Great Cooking Experience with Laura and Chef Love

Laura and Love provided an amazing private cooking class. They were both so fun. My husband and I loved the experience. We selected three dishes to make on the menu. Laura took us to the market to buy the ingredients and when we came back we prepared all three dishes with Laura and Chef Love. All three were delicious and we learned how to cook each. We were provided with photos and videos and the recipe cards for each recipe that we had. At the end, we got to sit in the restaurant and eat the delicious food we had prepared. Would definitely recommend!

Daisy was amazing and took us shopping in the market - not for the faint hearted but an excellent experience. She translated for the chef and also helped us as well S we prepared our 3 dishes. Daisy took photos and shared the recipes with us. The Egg Coffee at that restaraunt (Hoang’s ?) was the BEST we’ve had. Our foods was DELICIOUS too! Excellent experience.

Absolutely my best day in Hanoi. I very much enjoyed going to the market with Kitty, what an amazing experience from,l fresh fruits, veggies, livestock, spices, house hold items. We stopped along the way for traditional bfast and snack. Kitty was very knowledgeable and kept answering all our questions. After grabbing fresh produce, we took part in cooking the meals that we chose from a listing that morning. We then ate the prepared food and treated to coconut coofee afterwards. A def must do as Kitty provides tips on where to buy local snacks or anything you need.

The class was at Huang’s restaurant and perfect for our family with small children. We loved purchasing the food in the market. Our kids knife skills definitely improved! The best but was eating of course!!
