What are people saying about Hanoi

Excellent! Especially Ricky
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide, Ricky. From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. His passion for sharing the history and culture of the area truly brought every location to life.
Ricky was also very attentive and thoughtful—always making sure everyone in the group was comfortable, engaged, and enjoying the experience. He handled every detail smoothly, from timing to logistics, which made the entire tour feel relaxed and well-organized.
What really stood out was his ability to connect with people. He answered every question with enthusiasm and made the tour both informative and fun. Thanks to Ricky, this wasn’t just a tour—it was a memorable experience we’ll always appreciate.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for an exceptional guide!

Great day in Ninh Binh
Amazing experience!!! Great day - good pace, did a little bit of everything in one day. Itinerary was perfect - temples, hiking a mountain, boat ride, bike ride in the countryside and some shopping at the start of the trip.
Our guide was super professional, funny, engaging and attentive. One of the best guides we’ve ever had in any country.

Great experience in Ninh Binh
Great tour guide, Sunny, who provided interesting and amusing lessons on the history of Vietnam and the cultural and historical significance of the places we visited. The activities were fun (and light for anyone in reasonably good shape) and varied. The lunch at the buffet place was ok but it was sustenance. The bus was comfortable and the whole experience was professional and well organized.

Beautiful scenery
Amazing views, very well curated route, attentive tour guide. We enjoyed the boat trip along the river with mountains and rice fields on both sides while passing through 3 caves. We loved cycling among the quiet country roads next to the rice fields and mountains, with nice cafes along the way. The lunch was delicious. Overall experience was great.

Outstanding food tour with Kenny
Kenny was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to several locations with delicious food. More than we could eat. Just walking through the traffic on the street was an adventure and Kenny guided us through flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this tour. Ask for Kenny to be your guide.

Great tour to see main attractions
This tour is perfect for first timers to Hanoi and helps you get aquainted with the city. Guide and driver were exceptional. Lan, our guide, was very good at telling us about each place and was super friendly. She went out of her way to assist us throughout the tour.

Fabulous day
It is an early start but this ensures you miss the traffic out of Hanoi. Excellent, fun packed day. Louis our guide was fabulous. He was so informative and took pleasure in organising the whole day. The mini van was extremely comfortable and the driver was very competent

Worth It
This is a fantastic way to spend an evening. It was like I was visiting a friend in Hanoi who showed me around her city. Simone and Long are pleasant people who have a deep knowledge of their city. Food was delicious and I loved having the opportunity to cross the river and learn about agriculture on the island. Don’t miss the tour.

Hanoi city walking tour
My Husband and I had a fabulous day with our very kind and knowledgeable guide Vy walking around. Hanoi city . Vy crafted an amazingly informative day tailored to our interests, around all the main sights in Hanoi including Hanoi prison, the Temple of literature, and the Ngoc son Temple . Vy’s knowledge and insights was invaluable in helping us understand so much, not only about the sites we visited but also about Vietnamese culture, custom and beliefs more broadly . Vy also knew where to go to get the best coffee in Hanoi !!!!!👍 Thank you Vy.
And to top the day off Vy took me shopping which was fantastic. Could not recommend our guide Vy or the tour more highly. We learned so much ,
Many of the guides are students and whilst you. Pay very little for the tour itself proving the guides with a tip is a way of giving back and offering the guides a wage to support themselves. So a win win for everyone .

My best trip in Vietnam
Absolutely a “must”. Well organised tour, I was picked up in the morning from the hotel. We started with the pearl factory, went fast and it was pretty informative. Then we moved to the boat and spend the whole day cruising the Ha Long Bay. I also paid $10 for the speed boat activity and highly recommend it. Good was great, view were unforgettable and overall impression is five stars plus 👍.

Very Packed but Fulfilling Day
Be prepared for a FULL, adventurous & active day!!
Hotel Pickup&dropoff was Godsent.
There were 7 of us total. Nice van for the ride. Jun was a very sweet & an informative guide.
They do drop you off at a giftshop (trap)/restroom on the way there and back which was nice if you needed to pee, bad if you didn't want to buy anything but felt like you needed to as the workers flock you.
Started off the trip going to the temples - Jun gave us a tour of the first temple but then gave us free time to roam around for the second temple on our own (good & bad because it would be nice to get a guide for the entire place, not just half)
Then we biked around the "country side" (bikes were very old/rusty/very uncomfortable). The views were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Well worth the bad bikes. Definitely worked up an appetite for lunch. Lunch was SUPER packed and absolutely delicious. Had a big variety of different type of meat/veggies so everyone was pretty satisfied.
After eating we headed to the boat rides where we were able to help our boat "driver" paddle which was honestly a workout but really fun. He was super sweet and took photos of us as well. Jun was MVP for providing cushions for us to sit on.
After the boat we grabbed a snack before heading to our last adventure of the day: HIKING! By this time my friend was exhausted so Jun was able to show her a place to get feet massages while I hiked BOTH trails. Very exhausting but SO worth it. The views were absolutely stunning. I wish we had more time here because I wanted to enjoy seeing the caves & lily field more but couldn't because we had to go back home. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this tour. Jun ended it with giving us free snack which was a plus!
FYI if you aren't that active you can still enjoy this tour by relaxing and sitting. you do NOT have to do all the activities!

Great day out
This was a great day trip, Ha Long Bay is a must see and we personally enjoyed doing a day cruise from Ha Long rather than travelling from Hanoi on the shuttle. We were on the Hercules Luxury boat in Alex’s group. The boat has 3 levels and we were on level 2 to dine, and we also had access to the sun deck on top where there were plenty of chairs and loungers to relax on. There was also a jacuzzi at the back and 2 bathrooms. Alex was a fantastic guide, very helpful and friendly. Lunch was served immediately when we boarded. They were very good about meat-free options and seafood-free options. There was tofu, salad, rice, fries, and stir fried vegetable dishes which I could eat as a vegan. We paid extra for drinks, including water and soft drinks and later on there was Happy Hour with 3 for 2 cocktails and mocktails.
I would recommend two things - definitely bring a hat, as it got very hot and there wasn’t much shade. Secondly, bring cash onto Tiptop island, as there were stalls there and cafes etc but they don’t take card, and the boat parks elsewhere so when you’re on the island you can’t access anything on the boat for an hour while you’re there.
After the 3 excursions we were served fries and biscuits and then we had about an hour to relax as we sailed back to the harbour. This was when we settled the bill for drinks.
You don’t need to bring too much - you don’t need to bring swimming stuff or a towel unless you want to swim while on Titop Island or use the jacuzzi onboard. If you do kayaking, don’t bring your phone (leave it on the boat!).
Thank you to Alex and the whole team for a fun and relaxing trip.
